Biriyani and side dishes are good. Price is high for side dishes these they can consider that is they are quoting for the right price for the quantity they providing.

Ordered Fried rice, Extremely disappointed didn't expect such a least preference for Fried rice. All vegetables.(beans, carrot, Capsicum & onion) were not even half baked N Basmati rice was was mixed along with these vegetables. There was no texture, no taste waste of money time & effort I could hardly finish only 50% with the help of spicy veg gravy which was bought from other hotel for parota combination. Sorry to mention that this is the 1st time my rating for any hotel has gone below 4 stars..

Non-veg meals at 180/- with watery gravies with one boiled egg and one cup chicken fry with two bones is a waste of money. A complete disappointment. Chicken 777 taste was good but very less portion. Chicken fried rice is worst. Service was very poor. The person was reluctant to serve the rice second time. I have had food here 3 or 4 times previously and was good. Now it is very worst. Do not go to this place.

I bought takeaway for 18 pieces of phulka for ₹60 each, for a total of ₹1080, and each was only the size of my palm (refer attached pictures). Daylight robbery by Surya hotels. Thankfully the amount for phulka was refunded after arguments with the hotel management.

Very bad. For mutton Biryani, they are giving just 4 bones... charging 240 rupees for the same.. pathetic experience...I wonder whether they are serving for human beings or for dogs..Also they boast their bun parotta..but nowadays the taste becoming very bad for that too..

Worst hotel in Pollachi, at first I ordered 2 bun porotta and 1 mutton curry the again I ordered 2 bun porotta and then lime soda the second order I got it after half an a hour. They are not accepting any card payment they told only cash and upi I told upi they charged me Rs608 that is over priced, for a bun porotta Rs 53, mutton curry Rs262 For lime soda Rs72. This we are not even sitting in AC room every is OK they didn't even give me bill for 2 lime soda and 2 bun porotta 🤮

Very bad experience. THIS IS NOT HOW THE SURYAA HOTELS USED TO BE. Never visit. You have plenty of good hotels around pollachi. Went with family to have dinner. Even before they came to ask the order this happened. When we were sitting after washing hands, we needed some tissues as there were none in the table. Whomsoever we asked were not responding at all,i called a guy and he walked as if he never heard me. He said the waiter will come. Is he not from hotel authority??!!!!another guy , most likely a north Indian (not being discriminant, but the way he behaved) he gave tough looks and went. Later the waiter came and asked the order, where there were no proper availability of food. Thought the service will be good. A very bad one.never will visit again.

Myself along with 12 family members visited this hotel for dinner. We ordered various food items. The Tandoori Chicken full given by them was full of small sized deep oil fryed Chicken Legs. When we enquired about the same, they told they had given all the chicken legs for your ease. ( As we were having many childrens) but it was totally deep fried and not put on tandoori oven baken. So when we enquired about the same. The staff was not so co- operative. Even the manager sitting at the adjacent table was least bothered about the Issue. After a long conversation they were not accepting it, and was not tandoori cooked but told that they do not have any chicken for serving the dish again. Later they didn't charged us money for that dish. Rest all the dishes were tasty and good. The price was a bit high for its standard. Kindly concentrate more on Customer Satisfaction.

Bun parotta and biriyani can be a good suggestion. The side dishes are just ok. The tandoori was pan fried.

I would give 0 if possible. Very poor service. They took 20 min to give a table, then another 20 min to clean the table, even after i requested the guy multiple times. He ignored me and then said someone else will come. When it was finally time to order, the bearer said there was nothing except parotta and chicken fried rice. Not even white rice. But white rice and biriyani was being served at other tables Do not go there

Expensive and Tasteless Food. Ordered chicken biriyani, kothu parotha, chicken kothu parota, chicken 65, Bun parota, pepper chicken. Chicken biriyani Costa 250 and tasted like 50rs biryani. Even 120rs normal hotel biriyani would have large chicken piece and with an egg and with better taste. Pepper chicken was worsssttt neither it tasted like pepper chicken nor looked like one. Literally gave boold chicken with little bit of species on it. Bun Parota OMG costs 50rs and it was not at all worth ! Kuruma was like Water mixed with masala yucks! Chicken 65 was Okay 3.5 stars for that. Kothu and chicken parotha was a waste of money they served boiled chicken with it and it was a total waste of money and the next day literally had got stomach issues.😔 Save your money and better opt for Roadside food that would be muchhhhh much much better. Never going here!!!!

We went to this restaurant for placing order for a family function for a limited head count of 25. We went with our own number like 25 mutton biryani and 20 chicken masala etc. But they changed the count. They said they will provide 1) mutton biryani 2) chicken masala 3) 30 egg 4) 30 mutton kola urundai 5) white Rice with chiken kozhambu, mutton kuzhambu, rasam, curd and banan leaf. They said they will provide a quantity which will be enough for 30 people and charged around 425 per head but only for 25 people. They told they will put 3 kg rice for biryani for 25 people and additionally add 1.5 kgs of rice for extra 5 people (to accommodate 30 people) and for that extra 1.5 kg of biryani rice they wud add 1.5 kgs of mutton and we have to pay additional Rs. 1250 for that additional 1.5 kg of mutton. They also told that thay do not prepare mutton kola urundai in-house but would arrange it by getting it from Venu Biryani Hotel. We arranged our own Auto-Rickshaw for picking the food, otherwise they wud charge somewhere between 400 to 500 rupees for 12 kms. Totally it costed ua around 12k bucks but they only took 2k bucks as advance. Their food was tasty and we were happy except for the Kola urundai.

Very bad. Please avoid this hotel. Took parcel for dinner. They packed parotta which were so dry. It seems that it was prepared on the previous day and they just heated and packed. We just ate one piece, which made the stomach upset for 2 days. So,never thought of visiting this hotel.

Food was average, the rice was dry and the chicken was not fully cooked. Service was very bad, we had to wait for someone to take the order and everything was delayed. The bathroom was in very bad condition.

Such a disappointment! I used to visit Pollachi and been a regular customer at surya hotel. It's been quite a long time since I've been after my last dinning. It was quite a bad experience. Total disappointment. Lost their neatness. The toilets are too dirty. Thought the food would make it better. The quantity looks big but one chicken piece without an egg in a chicken biriyani for 235rs, that's pretty much a loot. And even the quality has gone down too much. The worst part is their price. I don't think the rates are worth the quality they provide. I have suggested this hotel for quite a long list of my friends and I'm not gonna do that from now on. Hope they get back to their old quality asap.

Have been to this place multiple times. Tried non veg meals (Rs.160), mutton biryani (Rs.250) and Egg fried rice (Rs.180). Everything was good but non veg meals is the best value for money. Fried rice quantity was more but biryani quantity of little less. I find this as the best restaurant in Pollachi.

You are making more robbery in decent way...but it's not appropriate to.we ordered just 2 fried chicken rice they had a menu card. As if in the menu card the rate of 1fired rice is 160 but they gave as bill to 440....waste of money....not even satisfied with u

Worst experience. I ordered mughal mutton biryani and chicken biriyani. What I have got is the attached one. This is no where close to mughal biriyani. The worst part is they added chilli chicken pieces in the biriyani. When I asked, I did not get proper explanation also.

We have ordered Chicken roast and ghee roast today. We liked the taste and its quantity. Ypu can park your car or bike in front of the hotel. Most of the ordered were take away type. Yoy can use gpay, cash or card for the payment.
