Lovely sandy beach with shallow water behind the breakwater makes it an ideal swimming area. Numerous cafés for drinks and food, sunbeds and sun shades can be hired and there's also fresh water showers (tokens required). Parking is chargeable either on the sea front or in a shaded car park.

Mid August may not be the best time to visit if you like your beaches quiet. However, the sea was gloriously warm and clean and there was still plenty of beach and parking for all.

One of the best sand beaches in this small area of the coast. The other good beach which is nearby is in Vasto but it's busier and more commercialised.
