We had an absolutely great lesson with Marcel. We were 3 friends looking to try surfing, total beginners. I'd had a bad experience previously with another surf school, but our lesson with ezride was the total opposite. The lesson started with good explanations and practice on the beach. In the water, Marcel took equal time with each of us to give us personalized tips on how to improve. Before the lesson, the communication was professional and quick. Finding the meeting spot was easy. Unlike other surf schools Marcel provided wetsuits which, even though we were told we wouldn't need them, was a life saver when you're in the water for 2 hrs in Feb! Marcel is knowledgeable, encouraging and easy-going. I will definitely be doing another lesson when I come back to Miami and would recommend him without hesitation. Thanks Marcel!

My girlfriend and I booked a surf lesson with Marcello and it was easily the best part of our vacation. He was slow and thorough in his teaching and really made it comfortable heading out onto the water. You can tell he really cares about each student he brings out. I have had several surf lessons over the years but this was easily the best lesson I've had because he taught us so much more than surfing. He also taught us how to prepare before you head out onto the ocean. He taught us how to read the waves and how to get in the right mindset when being on the board. My two daughters ages 7 & 9 took a private 2 hour lesson with Marcello. He is absolutely amazing! They had the best time and both were riding waves in during the first half hour! They had so much fun! Marcello is awesome, so professional and really goes out of his way to make sure they had a great time! We will definitely be back!!

Amazing experience!!! We recently visited Pompano Beach, FL and were looking for something fun to do one of the afternoons. My daughter and I noticed people surfing and wanted to give it a try. We contacted EZride Surf School and booked a private lesson. They provided everything you need including wetsuit, surfboard, and an amazing coach! Marcello was our coach and made the whole experience amazing. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about surfing. I had personally never considered surfing until the day of our lessons and now I'm hooked. We will definitely be calling for more coaching the next time we're in South Florida.

What a great experience! Marcello was a wonderful instructor and very patient. He never made us feel rushed for the time we had allotted - 100% of his focus was on us and the waves. I highly recommend him to anyone interested in learning to surf.

Great experience! Marcello is a fantastic instructor, very patient and detail-oriented, so that you learn good habits early. We had to wait a few days for good surf, but Marcello was very timely and professional in all of his communications, so we always felt comfortable whenever we had to reschedule. Due to his instruction, we were all able to get up on a few waves, enough to know this is something we want to work towards. I know we'll be calling Marcello for future lessons!

GREAT EXPERIENCE! My boyfriend and I took the hour and a half lesson with Marcello this past weekend and could not have had a better time. What an amazing experience we had today! My 13 year old daughter has been wanting to take a lesson for awhile, and Marcello made her feel at ease. Helpful preliminary instructions, equipment was great, lots of quality time and guidance. Today’s lesson gave my daughter the confidence she needs to further explore surfing! My husband and I booked a last-minute lesson with Marcel the day before and had a fantastic time. He was super friendly and thorough at explaining the basics and helped us catch many waves. It was my husband's first time surfing and only my second after many years. The conditions were perfect, and Marcel provided boards and rashguards. Though I feel confident that we could catch some of our own waves now, we really enjoyed the instruction and will definitely be back for another lesson in the future.

This was an absolutely terrible experience from start to finish! I bought a 2-hour beginner surf lesson for my husband’s birthday and was told that they can do the lesson close to Miami Beach where we live, but possible a little up north depending on the waves. This was important to me as we have a tight schedule and a small son. When I then wanted to actually schedule, they suddenly switched and said I had to drive up to Boca which is really challenging for us. The last lesson we had scheduled was cancelled due to no waves and I was promised a call back which I never received. Then Covid started shortly after and we were unable to continue. When things finally cleared up and I called another one of their numbers they said the certificate was expired and that I had to pay another $80 as “a scheduling fee”. Additionally, the instructor called me back snapping at me and insisting he had called me when he did not and that I had to drive to Boca or not get the lesson . ( Which is not what I had purchased). I ended up just letting it go and basically lost the money. This was all over a very upsetting and disappointing experience.
