Great lil Cafe found only 1 mile away. Came in here wanting Cuban coffee, but it was Italian run shop, & was convinced by the owner to try it, so I did! Omg forget Cuban coffee, Italian espresso is the BEST!! Definitely will come back & I would recommend anyone to come here!

An absolute gem! I found this place while when seeking refuge from some bad Sunday morning rain. Hands down one of the best double espresso I’ve had in Florida , and the service and chat with the owner, Peter, was an added bonus. We talked sports, politics, Italy, and it just felt like a place I’ve been to hundreds of times, even though it was my first. Prime example why residents should support local businesses. I’ll be back again with the family for the baked goods next!

Looks cute, but I will never know if it's actually good. Owner boots cars of customers at neighboring businesses without warning. Deters his own potential customers. Sad.

For an Italian style cafe it sure is run by a pitiful, greasy weasel of a man. No wonder people prefer the German restaurant next to them. Second fiddle in war, last place in food. Checkers should anschluss this dump.

Cafe Sportivo is by far the best espresso spot I've been to in Pompano Beach, $2 for a espresso! They have outside table's so sitting outside drinking coffee and watching cars go by turns into a very relaxing time. The server was beyond friendly, the place is very well kept and staff is very laid back, kinda felt at home.

True authentic Italian coffee. When you see other Italian (ya know because of their accent)people hangin around you know it’s going to be good. We weren’t disappointed. Creamy, strong delicious flavored coffee. If you want real espresso this is the place to go for that authentic Italian espresso.

I dropped into this little waterside cafe today while waiting to get a boat to see some of the archipelago. It's location is great for anyone waiting to board. I was also impressed to see that they served breakfast food as well as pastries and icecream. I ordered a cappuccino and my partner got a lemonade and cookie. The lemonade was SUPER sweet! Like can't taste the lemon sweet. So we watered it down with water to drink. My coffee was good, not too rich. Easy to drink and the cookie was pretty tasty. Overall this place is 3 star worthy. Good selection of food and drinks, friendly staff. Good seating with blankets if you feel chilly. It looses 1 star for its incredibly sweet lemonade! Diabetes hello!

Best coffe in town. Amazing place, Italian atmosphere. Recommended for sure for a coffee break or a quick lunch. They renewed the interior design as I saw the new wine racks from Di Prima USA. I’ll come back for sure, Peter is a great guy: very friendly.

Visiting pompano beach for our honeymoon and found this place while looking up where to grab coffee. The owner was a great guy and the atmosphere feels like you’re at home. The regulars were nice as well and made great conversation. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to trying some good lattes and conversation!

They now have a fuller menu done very nicely -- stop by please very clean very nice. The coffee is really good.

The service here is absolutely wonderful! My daughter and I walked from the pier for coffee one morning, and it was completely my fault, but I didn't see the 'cash only' sign until after we ordered. I asked where the closest ATM was and they wouldn't have it. We were so thankful and the coffee was fantastic. Of course we went back a few days later, with cash, and had breakfast with our whole family. The breakfast sandwich is amazing, I highly recommend it!

Cool place.. if you want to hear those old Italian, Sicilian, Palermo wise guys and get yuh a great coffee, best in Florida!! This is the spot!! They of course can cook some really good food.. this is a true authentic spot!!

I had a delicious latte and cannoli served by a very kind woman.

I only had the chance to stop by twice, but I’m wishing this was my daily coffee stop. I walked in and immediately felt like Peter was my friend. Great environment, not to mention how wonderful the cannoli and espresso was. Please make this your coffee stop!

this look like a hang out spot for the locals. this is a Cash Only place. I went in to get some good coffee. I like my lattes to have nice fine foam and this place was below average. the coffee was good but the whole late steamed milk thing was not to their best. the cups to go need to be upgraded from Styrofoam to some real coffee cups. they have some nice cups if you want to have your drink there.

I'm from south Philly came down for vacation drove by caffe sportivo and I had to stop by the coffee is awesome not that Starbucks coffee that is burned stop by and have an espresso or a cappuccino u will come back here again

I really hope this cafe doesn't get swallowed up by Development. Good, strong espresso followed by the political talk of the day. Hang outside and smoke a cigar any time. Cafe Sportiva defines a great "local hang! Be ready to talk about soccer!!

Cigars, Italian accents, political discourage, and the best espresso in town — Sportivos is a dream cafe. In business for 25 years and as Italia as you can get. Absolutely loved my morning coffee here. Would come here everyday if I were a local girl.

Visited with my buddy Nick, Great cappuccino, and pastries, the owner was working and very friendly. We parked appropriately and had no issues, unlike other people. I noticed the negative reviews of people who can’t seem to understand a small business needs to keep their parking available for its patrons in order to stay in business. I’ll be back when I’m visiting friends!
