The store is clean and organized but I will say that the cashier named “Norma” is very mean and she is always looks mean I asked her a question and she ignored me. I really thought Publix workers were supposed to always have kindness :(

I haven’t been to this Publix for almost 3 year because I don’t like the service I receive. The deli employee always have me waiting for 10 mins or more just to assist me when there is no one in line. When I finally had someone to assist me she just stared at me until I looked up and said oh you waiting for me? Then when I told her I wanted white bread she said we out go to the bakery to find some. What? Why do I need to go to the bakery to find some why don’t you go to the bakery to get some? Unacceptable!!!

I'd normally give any Publix a better rating, but I guess because of this one's location it has shorter hours of operation...closing at 10pm. The people are friendly, but I have had a few longer waits in line than I had at my previous favorite Publix in Pembroke Pines. I will update with photos, inside and out when I get a chance. Being a former Police Officer, please be aware of your surroundings at this location...I've noticed stepped up patrols from BSO in this area. It might be a good idea to have a detail Officer for this location. Be safe all. As of 02/07/23 they still don't have a detail officer or private security at this location...either would be helpful with some of the transient foot traffic here. The employees here are still very nice...but the wait time in line here is still a bit long. Be safe all.

This Publix pharmacy is the WORST. They need to be investigated or shut down. My daughter takes several medications which are absolutely essential for her day-to-day well being. 3 months in a row they have messed it up. Today was the worst and also the last straw, we are going to another pharmacy even though it is further away and will cost more. Last Thursday she brought in her prescriptions, they let her know that two of them would have to be ordered and it would take a few days due to the holiday. The most important one was one of the two that had to be ordered. She takes it twice a day. She ran out of that one over the holiday weekend. It was hard but she made it through. Today when they were supposed to be ready they only had the other one. They then asked her if she wanted them to order the most important one. I’m not sure what we are going to do, or if she will be ok. This is not the same as screwing up a cheeseburger meal. People depend on you for their well- being. GET YOUR $HIT TOGETHER and take care of the people in your community. Your lack of competence in an important function is disgusting.

this used to be the best Publix, but lately it's horrible. The deli is the absolute worst! they are all making sandwiches and paying no mind to anyone standing at the hot food counter. They never have rotisserie chickens out for customers, they sit there for 20 min with the doors open while everyone is waiting for them. when people get off of work at 5 or 6 they would like to grab hot food to go, not wait for 20 minutes. They wont even look up and say sorry for the wait, we will be with everyone soon. They cut deli meat and cheese so wrong then stuff it in the bags so your cheese is broken when you get home. I will shop at other publix's. not this one ever again! to bad because all your check out ladies and gents are super nice and fast.

Worst Publix in the entire Oakland park pompano area. Customer service attendants have awful attitude. Treat you horribly for asking to exchange anything as simple as one brand of non organic item for an organic brand. I stopped by here to purchase a box of milk for my boss who asked for me to get this on my way to work. I decided to get a milk for myself as well and naturally I rang the purchases separately in order to give my boss the receipt for her item to be reimbursed. When I was done ringing up the milks I went to customer service to get something else and the manager asked me if I was going to pay for the milk inside the shopping bag in my cart. I told her I just bought two milks. She told me I rang up 1 milk. I told her again I purchased 2 milks. And again she proceeded to tell me I only rang up one milk. After stating the same thing 3 times I asked her what she was trying to get at, if she was asking for my receipt or just making a statement. She asked for my receipts and I showed her two receipts with two milks purchased 1 minute apart. She didn’t apologize or say anything else. She grabbed the receipts looked at them and put them on the counter. Seriously I don’t know what kind of manager makes a statement accusing someone of going through a register bagging an item and not paying for it, without even checking the camera or asking security. She had no explanation of why she thought I hadn’t paid for the 2nd milk. She just kept repeating it as if it was a fact. Not for nothing but people who are out there struggling for grocery purchases and would try to get away with an extra milk in their cart, I seriously doubt they are going to pay $6.99 for half a gallon of organic grass fed milk and then attempt to take another half gallon of 6.99$ milk. It’d make more sense for someone who’s tight on money to buy a whole gallon of regular milk for 3.39$ which is double the milk for less than half the price. No one struggling to buy groceries is spending $7 on a carton of 64oz of milk. So the woman had no common sense aside from being rude and a terrible manager who’s accusatory of customers. Never going to this Publix again, which is in a bad neighborhood to begin with. Unfortunately it was on my way to work after an appointment close to that area.

Spotless When I saw how meat these condiments were close to the entrance of Publix. It shows that care about weakness and cleanliness add another publix where I actually live near it's Rather a mess in chaotic and the supplies are always lacking. It may seem like a small detail but the devil is in the details and everything should be perfect for a true shopping experience. I miss this place I used to come here often when I live just up the road hopefully other public supermarkets will take a look and prosper from. Their professionalism.

I have been going to this Publix for quite sometimes instead of gets better actually gotten worse because of that reason...Family and friends just stop going to that Publix...thank God there are a lot of them out there....now I will be next to do the same... This Publix has a big issues at deli department ... Weather people on line or not the minimum waiting time 20-30mints... after you get someone she comes with abnoxious attitude she takes your order for the most part the items you get is not fully satisfactory..in other words wrong item or wrong pound ,this is been going on for long time, I am sure the managers aware of it. every time I stop by deli always hear two or three customers complain about it... we are all hope and expect better and pleasant service when we go somewhere.... it is my hope the mangers would do something about it to fix this specific issues it has been linger for quite sometimes now.. DELI, improvement is very needed.

The store is great but the downfall is the deli. Most of the women take their time about serving you and have poor customer service unless the men who works for the city or men of uniform comes in then they want to smile and give extra, extra food to them. The food is never done on time. This store would be 4 star if the deli would shape up

LOVED how welcoming the staff was! They smiled and wished me a good morning, which made me want to purchase my stuff with confidence and austerity… keep up the good work guys (oh, and it don’t hurt that it was squeaky clean too and STOCKED 😍)

Took up my whole lunch break waiting on depot to make the subs in front of me. Ridiculous how slow they’re moving. Pay them per sub they make instead of hourly and I promise this problem will be fixed. Still waiting btw

Worst deli experience I’ve had at a Publix. I drive all offer the state. Everyone seems depressed. Usually I get a sandwich and a smile and often conversation. Here I didn’t even get a pleasant look. Very transactional and dismissive. Only person in line 2 days in a row too. Sad. Also the sandwiches were not made well. Hmm. Even the manager I observed on several encounters seemed to have a disdain for customers. Bad.

I wanted to find the TRU FRU in the dry & a nice employee helped me find it today ! IT’s Pumpkin 🎃 times so got coffee creamer on SALE! Yay TRU FRU in Frozen is awesome I have had most of them 🍓 🫐 etc .

Has what 90 percent of people want. Clean and neat. Would like to be greeted by the cashier better. The bagger and the cashier were speaking Creole the whole time. They were hood people, they just need to brush up their people skills

I’m a Floridian and haven’t encountered such beautiful people as this location. Every community deserves a Publix like this one.

I don't know who that black porter is who speaks creole with a hat on but someone fire him. He is making fun of good people as a local customer shopper here in his language.

Publix is the BEST! For the most part excellent, knowledgeable, friendly staff & customers, quick check out, excellent bakery, seafood & NOT expensive, if you know how to shop!!! Walmart can't hold a CANDLE to them.They have great deals! Also best fruits & produce! ❤️💋❤️ Love this store, also the one on federal my just north of Sample.

Although smaller than many Publix stores, this is still a great place to shop. It's clean. The staff is friendly and focused on great service. I do wish that the vegan options were more plentiful.

Julia was so awesome!!!! I went to this Publix because it was close. I went in for 1 thing and ended up with an entire cart full. They close at 10pm and I just started unloading my cart when I realized I forgot the ONE thing I came in for. She told me it was no problem and to go get it. She was so patient and had no attitude. Thank you Julia!!!! Made my night.

Store was very clean. We were early so everyone was a little slow to help but all was good.

MY Publix is my my favorite place to shop. This is a 1stop shop for my family. We use the bakery, deli, and pharmacy too. The customer service is top tier!!

Superb staff, friendly, assist you to locate items, willing to bring your purchases out to your car. Good supply of on-sale items.

Worse deli ever there are unprofessional an they don’t care they talk an take there sweet time. They took 15 min on 1 sandwich an I missed my lunch ! They where only 2 people in front of me an they took 30 min on 2 subs it’s ridiculous. Then they have people slicing cheese when they can be helping customers worst Publix deli ever do not go unprofessional an rude.

This is my favorite Publix because it's on the way home. Not sure how to put this because the City of Pompano should take care of them, but there's homeless hanging out in the parking lot. Most of them mind their own business and aren't begging but the City should do something other than send the police to arrest them once in a while. They have money from all this construction going on, a shelter for these ppl should be considered.

I went to four different Publix looking for dry ice and every store had (warm) freezers and no ice. I don't know if the chain decided to stop carrying it or they sold out, but the empty bags at the bottom of the freezers suggested they had some and let it evaporate. The people I asked were nice and helpful and earnest about it.

I stop at many locations they are all great to get your item's at a good price and the staff is friendly and professional.

This store is always clean, well stocked, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. One of the deli mangers (Kay) is always pleasant, efficient, and goes above and beyond

This Use To Be A Great Store and they are a good place to shop at but They Seem To Not Listen To What You Ask For . I’ve ordered a cake from here before ( Sundae Funday cake to be exact) . I came in the next day to get the cake the worker behind the counter had a attitude didn’t even know what cake I was picking up and just directed me to C.S and they didn’t even know what I needed . On top of that my cake wasn’t even done and when I asked can it be made that day nobody was there to even make it . I left that situation alone and ordered again a few days later but I ordered a sub and I asked for side condiments and for my sub to be cut in 4ths but THAT wasn’t even done . I’m completely over ordering there at all .

Best supermarket in So.Flo. We won't shop anywhere else.

Worst deli I have ever been to. Only 2 people were in front of me and it took them 35 minutes. After that they kept doing all of the online orders and forgot about every everybody else in line. They need to do better. This review is going nowhere because I saw the managers and how they operate. This is for the people to know that if you go into this public, every worker is practically brain dead and have attitude. Good luck everybody.

Today I had a great experience at the deli department with the associate KINDRA. Sunday is a very busy day for this store, and I had a large order of sandwiches among other things, but it was very pleasant to do it with this girl. Kindra kept calm, and productive, and made sure that I got all I needed for my evening shopping. Way to go Publix! For this reason is always nice to shop at this specific Publix store. FIVE STARS ⭐️ to Kindra and to Publix!

I only come here after leaving the gym and heading home since it’s on my way. And here and there I would get a sub or salad for later on to eat and honestly “Ken” from deli is so awesome. I’ve never had someone make my sub/salad/wrap with so much care. At first I thought maybe it’s because he’s new but it’s been awhile now and he still gives the best deli customer service I’ve ever had. I live near two other Publix and I’d rather go out my way an extra 15 minutes to order a meal here.

Compared to other/bigger Publix markets, this Publix is kept as well stocked and there tends to be more obstacles in the isles for someone like me(in a wheelchair). On the plus side, it's usually not as busy so checking out is faster.
