Had
my
baby
in
this
hospital
and
the
experience
was
very
disappointing
(especially
considering
it
is
a
private
swiss
hospital)
regarding
what
they
advertise
as
services
and
values
in
their
website
and
what
actually
happens
in
real
life.
They
called
us
for
an
interview
with
a
mid-wife
to
discuss
the
birth
plan
a
few
days
before
due
date
-
perfect
we
thought,
they
are
concerned
and
taking
the
initiative
for
a
humanized
birth
experience,
as
they
advertise.
The
day
finally
came
but
NONE
of
the
advertised
techniques
offered
on
their
website
and
actually
discussed
during
that
appointment
were
ever
offered,
on
the
contrary,
they
disrespected
almost
all
of
our
expressed
wishes.
1-
I
wanted
to
try
labor
without
an
epidural,
as
I
was
confident
that
the
bath
tub,
the
massages,
aromatherapy,
music,
etc.
offered
in
their
facilities
were
going
to
help
handling
the
pain.
I
didn't
get
the
epidural
but
also
didn't
get
offered
ANY,
of
the
other
soothing
techniques...
2
-
I
asked
for
the
umbilical
cord
to
be
cut
by
my
husband
or
myself
but
especially
requested
to
let
it
stop
pulsing
before
engaging
in
cutting
it.
They
actually
clamped
it
right
away
and,
if
my
husband
wouldn't
have
stopped
them,
they
would
have
cut
it
right
on
the
spot
3
-
I
asked
them
to
let
the
placenta
be
delivered
spontaneously,
didn't
want
anyone
pushing
on
my
belly
or
pulling
the
cord
-
guess
what
happened?
They
gave
me
some
drug
while
still
giving
birth
to
the
baby,
in
order
to
accelerate
placenta
delivery
and
one
person
pushed
on
my
belly
while
another
was
pulling
the
cord
until
it
came
out
4
-
I
was
still
lying
on
the
birth
bed
with
my
baby
on
me,
when
the
cleaning
team
rushed
into
the
birth
room
to
clean
out
5
-
from
the
very
beginning
they
fed
formula
to
my
baby
until
she
would
spit
out
of
fullness
every
time
I
would
breastfeed,
once
they
did
it
even
before
I
fed
my
child
(took
her
away
during
the
night
and
she
was
spitting
when
they
brought
her
back
for
me
to
feed
her)
6
-
after
a
shower,
I
was
offered
to
rest
with
my
baby
in
a
room
where
3
jack
hammers
were
removing
mortar
out
of
the
floor
above
my
head
-
of
course
I
refused
to
stay
there,
which
the
nurse
understood
when
I
asked
her
to
stay
with
me
in
there
for
10
minutes,
if
she
really
thought
that
room
was
suitable...
-
had
to
wait
for
about
45
min.
on
a
chair
in
the
nursery
to
get
offered
a
room
further
away
from
where
the
construction
works
were
most
intense
(do
always
check
if
the
hospital
you
choose
is
having
some
renovations
before
you
stay
there!)
I
could
actually
add
a
few
other
things
but
you
get
the
point.
Was
all
this
happening
because
I'm
a
foreigner?
Was
it
because
the
hospital
is
only
focused
on
cost
savings
and
didn't
have
enough
resources?
I
will
never
know
but
I
do
know
that
I
definately
don't
recommend
this
place
to
moms
that
are
expecting
their
birth
plan
to
be
followed.
On
the
positive
note,
the
installations
are
quite
nice
and
are
clean,
the
basic
survival
supplies
are
available
and
the
personel
is
actually
very
pleasant
and
friendly.
