Overall the price for the food and the experience was worth it! The beginning was a little rocky because I stopped by earlier in the day to get a reservation, however they didn’t write my name down so make sure that you do so! The food itself was fantastic as were the breadsticks, the waiters were good, however I did find myself feeling like we had to wait longer than I would like. One of the diners is lactose intolerant and they made a lactose free dessert without us needing to ask, which was a nice surprise. Overall I think this restaurant is worth a visit if you are in Pompeii. I do want to note that while the food was great from a technical perspective I felt that it and the service lacked some of the homey-ness and heart that have made some of my experiences in Italy truly great and memorable.

Very interesting Italian cuisine. We selected the chef’s course where the chef selects the courses. Tried things we never imagined. First class service. Great way to experience something new.

The food was amazing with a wide variety between fish and meat. We had both and it was equally good and tasty. The prices are not overall expensive for Italy. Absolutely worth going there. And try the tiramisu!

Great restaurant with delicious, good value and local food. Ambiance and staff are very pleasant and professional. They were able to adjust to our needs because we were in a rush. We had the parmigiana antipasti. Spaghettoni with anchovies and black truffle, pasta with fresh lobster and the grilled seafood platter. All dishes were terrific, the pasta was fresh and had a good bite. Seafood was extremely fresh, well prepared and rite rare-ness. The tuna was really extraordinary. The price is very fair for the food and service you receive. All in all €67 excl tip. Also did not drink alcohol.

Really nice dinner quality/price. Cozy place with original dishes. Fancy but not exaggerated. Waiters were really kind also helping with chosing what to eat and drink. They also offered us a little starter and dessert. Personally I would prefer a shorter menu because making a choice was a bit difficult.

The wait staff was exceptional, the location outside the train station and interior of the restaurant were both excellent, we had the lobster w/noodles, carbonara and ravioli with a fried cod appetizer all delicious would definitely recommend.

Let me tell you about this amazing restaurant. When you are in Pompei, you need to eat here. I made a Reservation on my way to Pompei ruins and came after. The service, the atmosphere and the food. Everything was just perfect. The fired pizza was so good!

So we decided to go a bit up market for our lunch in Pompeï. It did cost us a bit more, but worth every cent. The food was totally delicious and the service wonderful, including some nice tasters they gave us. Highly recommended.

The food was extremely good and the staff very knowledgable and friendly. I would definitely eat here again. This restaurant is high-end compared to the restaurants in this touristic area. I checked the negative reviews and they seem to be tourists who just notice it on the street and walk in for a quick lunch: I don't think this is the right place for them. If you are planning a proper lunch or dinner, with high quality, then reserve a table here for the proper experience.

This classic Italian restaurant had a great selection of items. The staff was very helpful with suggestions on specialities and wine selection. Even though we were dressed very casual we still felt welcome among the more well dressed customers. This was the first restaurant that I have ever seen that had a dietary restrictions / intolerances menu with icons. As a supertaster, this was very helpful.

An exceptional dining experience! The ambiance was delightful, but what truly stood out was the incredible hospitality of owner Vincenzo. He made us feel like honored guests, ensuring every detail of our meal was perfect. The food was divine, but Vincenzo's warmth and attention truly made our lunch unforgettable. Can't wait to return!

Very bad restaurant. We had a bad service and it was simply the worst beef tartare I have ate in my life. After it was took back to the kitchen they just bring me another one which was just okay after 20 minutes of waiting and not even asking me if I wanted something else. Overpriced, bad food and even worst service. Of course I didn't ate and was still charged +100€... don't go there it is a shame for the great italian cuisine. I never post reviews but this was mandatory after this experience. I just don't understand the reviews.

Odd and bad experience. I asked the waiter for the grigliati di Mari wanting to try a variety of seafood. He wouldn’t let me order it. He told me I would get the fish of the day. All very strange. The fish of the day says it is cooked with potato, caper and black olive. But the plate was just fish with absolutely no flavor or seasoning and had no potato, caper or black olive. When I asked the waiter what was going on he said the fish is cooked with those items but not served with it…. The fish had zero seasoning. Hard to explain but felt like a scam. Very disappointing.

This dining experience was utterly ruined by the appalling service. Admittedly we did not book in advance so we had a table outside, right at the end of the row. However we gladly accepted this. We then had bread and water delivered to the table. We then had to ask for menus, then ask for drinks before waiting a further 35 minutes before anyone came to take our order. The wine list was 34 pages on an iPad plonked in front of us! We ordered a bottle of Rose and a glass of red wine, which arrived in about 10 minutes. The wine was opened with due ceremony,( including sniffing the wine cork) and poured into three of our glasses. Despite having purchased the bottle it was taken away by the waiter. My wife then pursued the waiter into the restaurant to inform him we had purchased the bottle so could we please have it back at the table. Food arrived, which to be fair was good. I asked for another glass of red wine - 10 minutes later it hadn’t arrived so we asked again. Another 10 minutes, it still hadn’t arrived. When it did I had finished my meal, so I sent it away. The whole episode was largely down to the incompetence of a new member of staff, but nevertheless one has to question the level of training this person has received and how well they are supervised. This restaurant purports to be more upmarket and towards the fine dining end of things - it needs to ensure its staff are of equally high quality!

Very good service and food. Higher than standard. Staff very friendly and professional. Thank you for everything. We can strongly recommend this restaurant. Very good starters and fish. Desert also interesting taste we can recommend cheese cake with pistachio.

Fresh seafood in a nice upscale restaurant at a convenient location (right next to the Pompei station!) We ordered seafood pasta and ravioli with squid stuffing and pumpkin sauce. The ravioli is very delicious, but the pasta is a bit too dry and salty. The restaurant gave us many complimentary sides such as the fried dough with cauliflower and even two small glasses of prosecco. The service is very good too. Would recommend a visit!

Great food, highly recommend the cuttlefish and courgette salad. Seafood pasta dish had excellent flavours. Service was attentive and friendly. Reasonably priced. A fair walk from Pompeii entrance, but worth it.

My boyfriend and I wanted to love this place so badly but unfortunately our tasting menu was just OK. Nothing stood out to us. The wine was absolutely delicious and the servers were great. Perhaps their entrees are much better than their tasting menu as we saw many good looking dishes pass by us.

Sophisticated place, Michelin star winner. To drink, we had an Aperol Spritz and a Pompei Drink (8€ each). For appetizers, we ordered an octopus with polenta and one antipasto with tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, arugula and a bread with chestnuts (our favorite dish of the night). For the main course we chose the risotto with Gorgonzola cheese, coffee, walnuts in the pear reduction.

What a pleasant surprise. Spaghetti with buffalo butter and fresh anchovies, risotto with a touch of cafe, fried artichoke and octopus. Great deserts and a reasonably priced wine list. Price value ratio, a solid 5 on a weak 30.12.2021 corona ridden week.
