We camped and was warned by Mandy via email at it was Mozambique's independence day celebration during that time. However Chico was very helpful, friendly and gave us excellent advice where to go sightseeing as well as restaurants. The resort was quiet and peaceful and we had private ablutions ,very clean and check in was quick and easy. Easy access to beach, pool and restaurants,walking distance. It was a family holiday and look forward to visiting again. An excellent choice for accommodation.

Truly great experience that my wife and I had. The team is very friendly and always willing to help where they can if you are stuck with something. Rooms are well cleaned and they check up on you to make sure your stay is pleasant. Gala Gala Eco Resort will definitely see me again. 5stars from my side. Thank you Bev

Gala gala was incredible! The staff are so kind and thoughtful! We stayed in in the ensuite cabins for 10 days and loved it. The shared kitchen is well equipped. It is tucked away in lush greenery and hidden from the winds. The team help you organize activities and can drop you off in the village (which is also a short walk away!) we cannot wait to be back. Obrigada!

It is an eco resort so be prepared for that. There will be unexpected things happen but management is quick to take care of it. Say hi to Hilton if you go - he's the nicest, most overworked person there.

Beautiful little gem of a place. Camped there. Lovely stands with shade and own ablution. We enjoyed our stay there.

Cool space for those looking for something different. Friendly, engaged service and reasonable prices, but a bit off the beaten track. The cabanas are made of reed with overlaying vinyl, which is unique and inviting, but obviously not sound proof at all! ;) Good breakfast for sale on site, but get there early if you want to explore the beach or restaurants offsite.

This is a very special place. We loved the pathways at night time.Keep an ear out for the bushbabies on your roof. Super special.

What an awesome place to stay. 1KM out of town, but close to a n amazing quiet beach and a short walk to the main swimming and diving beach. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The owners Bev and Mandy are hands on and ensure the cog turns without a hitch. Adrick is the manager and knows how to treat people so they always feel special... I Highly recommend the place...
