I’ve stayed here multiple times and all the rooms smell like mildew, everything is out dated. Even the brand new rooms aren’t impressive… I guarantee they pay someone off for that 5 diamond rating because no way an actual inspector would rate it that… Mold in the kitchens, cockroaches in the rooms and bars. Where does this place get off charging so much for mediocrity??? Was appalled to learn that the included gratuity on my check at the bar didn’t go to the bartenders and servers… the company takes 25% of that and doesn’t tell you so you don’t know to tip them extra, doesn’t leave a line to tip extra or anything. What kind of company steals tips from the servers making $5 an hour? Horrible. Never again. Cant believe people spend $100k to join to be a member there, pathetic.

Was fortunate enjoy to play the golf course and it was in fantastic shape. Challenging and fun at the same time. The clubhouse is a bit dated, however it’s still a really really good clubhouse. Play if you get the chance.

5 star experience. The rooms are amazing, super comfy beds and pillows, staff is exceptional. Everyone takes the time to greet you and help in any way. Had a conference for work here recently, and everything from the rooms, to service and food was amazing.

This review is for the Seahorse Grill inside of the Inn and Club. Fantastic service with informed wait staff, amazing food, fresh ingredients! One of the best meals I have in a long time . Beautiful setting. Many gluten free options.

So, this is short and to the point - this Resort is one of THE BEST we've ever stayed in. These few issues , while disappointing , were magnified only because everything else is so perfect! Our 1st night check in we little issue because the Inn subscribes to DirectTV and we had wanted to watch the Saints game. It was not available on the hotel TV and we had to use an app on iPad to use Amazon Prime I believe. We called concierge to see how to stream it to the Samsung TV as there were no menu items available on the TV. Concierge said they would check and call back - this was the night of Dec 21st, 2023. No one ever called back so we had to watched it on the iPad. Oh well... the next day, or maybe the 23rd, I asked at the front desk before breakfast if there was some way to check and see if there was a way to block out the sun from shining through a set of room shades that was waking us up - the sun was lighting up the room. He said yes there way a way and that someone would put up a block/cover - someone would come to the room and do it. No one came or called. Oh well... Christmas night, we get back to the room after a great Christmas buffet a the Inn. The buffet was stupendous and all of us had a great meal - the food and selection was fabulous! I turn on the TV to watch my favorite team, Baltimore Ravens, game at 8pm, looking forward to relaxing in bed as its always a treat to watch TV in bed as we dont have one in our bedroom at home - its kind of a vacation treat - and we see that the local channel is not available because of the DirectTV Inn subscription does not include it!!!! So it was playing in their bar, but not the room. So now no Ravens game - ugh. But location a plus, Margarita our housekeeper was most helpful and did a great job keeping our room spotless. The beachfront restaurant food was delicious - filet cooked perfectly, Pittsburgh medium, excellent wild mushroom side and the flounder dish and wedge salad were excellent. The bacon on the Wedge was 1st class and all was cooked perfectly. The shops have much to choose from and we even purchased some clothes. We enjoyed a visit to the pool and the kids had a blast at the childs pool. Thank you and good luck with the Relais & Châteaux application!

Absolutely beautiful place right on the ocean in Ponte Vedra (Jacksonville) Florida. Facilities at this lovely location include at least three swimming pools for adults and an entire splash park for children of all ages. The white sandy beaches were gorgeous and it was wonderful to be able to just get right into the ocean, with attentive lifeguards. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food we had at the restaurant was excellent.

Easy from the airport. Very pretty area. The hotel is very well maintained. Some of the decor is a little dated but absolutely clean and cared for.

Beautiful view. Lunch on patio was terrific. Went with club members. Burgers juicy and messy. Great service. Look forward to staying here sometime.

From the greeting before entering the lobby to the welcome as we checked in to the moment we left the grounds everything was amazing. The staff was courteous, helpful all with a smile. The food from the banquet room to the buffet breakfast was delicious. I definitely recommend the St John bldg 1st floor steps from the Atlantic Ocean, amazing

My daughter and I had a beautiful, relaxing day there!! And the full body massage was much needed!! Now I can make it through the holiday season

We had a lovely time. The food and service were spectacular! Thomas was our server at the Seahorse Grille. He was incredibly knowledgeable about each menu item, how it was prepared, etc. Friendly staff all around. Kudos to the chef and kitchen! Thank you for making our Anniversary dinner super special!

So we are currently here at the inn. We have travelled up and down the east coast and many FL locations. This is a great location for us traveling from Virginia. However the room was 80% of a good room. No mini fridge loud noises all the time from the pipes. The golf course restaurant was too busy to seat us at the older hostess was not accommodating. The pool was getting older as the whole resort shows age. We went to the lodge and that was a beaten down Hilton at best. The beach is not flattering and we will see what golf has to offer tomorrow. If u are a diamond resort ur staff should be much better than what was offered. Unfortunately I would recommend many more resorts in Florida due the service and the age of the resort. There are some great people at the resort but the bad ones drag it down.

The resort was beautiful. It was close to the beach, and the ocean was lovely. The staff was welcoming and friendly. My room was well equipped. Even though it is older, it still has nice amenities. It will need to be remodeled eventually, but the charm is nice. The shower head needed more water pressure, but that was my only maintenance complaint.

This room was so beautiful. It was nice to listen to the beach from my bathtub. I hope to do it again soon!

We had a comfortable room with a beautiful ocean view. The staff were really kind, and the food was amazing.

We've stayed here for the last five years and can find absolutely nothing negative to say. The oceanfront rooms are spacious and comfortable. It's lovely having morning coffee from our balcony. Our servers at the Golf Club Restaurant were wonderful, as were the bartenders. Many people remember us from year to year!

We visited as/with a tennis group but, after a single tennis match, were rained out by a Nor'easter (NOV-2021). Nevertheless, we enjoyed the entire stay, even without any Florida sunshine. It's a very nice, high-quality facility and we look forward to a return visit in the future.

The customer experience is always phenomenal. I literally live less than 30 mins away but it's like coming to a whole new world...I love it and so did my son.. he found 21 sharks teeth... so it made his life. The rooms are a little older but make up for it with the amenities.... microwave and fridge are in room necessities for me. You have direct TV if you want to take your eyes off the beautiful ocean. The food is delicious as well for in room dining or the restaurants

I have been here before, but I certainly was not aware of how beautiful it truly was! Seeing the green for the first time right along the water and the Ponte Vedra homes was honestly breathtaking. My friend and I were the only ones out there, and we had a small twilight picnic. The view of the sunset was stunning as well as being on the very well kept green. This is a Jacksonville gem that I will be visiting much more often, and this is just one side of it!

The location is beautiful, the room was great but the service was off the charts good. I was visiting for a conference and they knew in advance that I had a dairy sensitivity. I felt like every person involved with my food knew that and took extra care. Special desserts just for me! Bellman, front desk, concierge, event planner all top notch, helpful, patient. Highly recommend.

If you get the opportunity to play the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club's Ocean Course, jump on it! Played it for the first time post-renovation last week and could not have had a better time. Beautifully maintained, perfect greens, and an all around great golf experience from the moment I pulled up to drop my clubs to the time I pulled away. One of Northeast Florida's best courses, no doubt!

We loved our stay here. Great for kids and adults. Our 4 year old loved the little water park. Only 10 minutes to TPC Sawgrass . The room service food was on point, and so was all of the staff.

Visited the spa for a fun girls day - amenities - food - drinks all spectacular. When they welcome you to the spa they ask you to put on your robes which is a bit strange if you are planning to use the pool before services - maybe just put your suit on under your robe so you are ready 😂

This place was fantastic! I was here for a work trip and loved it. Service was awesome, food was great, my room was fabulous. I had a balcony with w beautiful view of the ocean. The beach supposedly has lots of shark teeth. I had no luck finding any but it was fun looking for them.

Overall the resort is great. Our room was spotless and the view from our first floor patio was great. It felt secluded but was only 10 mins from stores and other restaurants. We booked dinner Friday night in the Golf Club Dining room for the prime rib buffet. The prime rib was okay, but the Cuban pork they had that night was AMAZING! Our next day it rained all day so we enjoyed movies in the comfy bed and then ordered in room service. It arrived pretty quickly and was also delicious. On the weekends they have a breakfast buffet which had a lot of options. While most of the food was really good it was really pricey. Also please note that they are a cashless/cardless resort so all your purchases are added on to your hotel bill, and every time you order food whether in a restaurant or room service there is a 22% service charge added. The staff was friendly and overall it’s a nice place, but for the price I probably would find another place to go. Unless you like golf there’s not really much to do on the resort. We also didn’t get our complimentary arrival gift that was supposed to be included in our package and they still charged us for breakfast which was supposed to be included.

So, the start of our trip at the Starbucks worried me. I know we’re all on vacation but it was like the two servers were on vacation as well and took their time. The slow, so this of it was on a different level and this is a golf resort as well so people have teetimes and have to actually be somewhere regardless if they’re on vacation or not. All I have to say is please give yourself extra time when going there. Definitely not like normal Starbucks. Then we came to the bar area after golf and Gina and Payton were phenomenal! Maxine on the course was also very nice, respectful and on point. I have to say it also the very start of it, the valet was great front desk super nice, proper and considerate. The Starbucks experience was what started the day but the rest was beyond superb!

This celebration of love at The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club was beyond fabulous! The epic evening was meticulously planned to the last detail by the club and congratulations to all the talented vendors and wedding planner who brought this vision to fruition. I was there to witness the ‘first look’ at the ballroom with the bride and groom ..they were truly blown away! A moment like this deserves to be persevered in a lasting heirloom, oil painting 🥂💕 Making sure their vision is always remembered Gina Strumpf wedding artist.

First time here. Joined friends for a long weekend. Love our 1st floor room at the Georgia House, especially because it was right on the beach. Had a great time looking for shark teeth. Wish our room had been renovated. Otherwise, the resort is well-kept and the staff is very friendly.

Luxury resort but it's showing its age. Food is decent but too expensive for what you get. Beach was beautiful but unfortunately, the water here is typically cloudy thanks to the St John's river. Enjoyed the room with direct to beach access though. Bed was very firm but comfortable. Twice a day room service is nice. Long walks to pools if you get stuck on one of the far buildings. Rooms have a ceiling fan and a little sink with a small fridge and microwave too.

We hosted a group there for 3 days. We have never worked with someone as helpful as Jason. Food service, room cleanliness, and conference services were above and beyond! The setting is beautiful. We highly recommend this venue. It deserves its 5 Diamond rating.

I have been invited by a friend who was staying at Ponte Vedra to have breakfast with her. Their selection of food was good and the service particularly of Maricris was great. Very friendly and attentive.

This place is amazing! The staff from the time of arrival until departure were super pleasant and accommodating. The suite, beach, golf course, dining and homes around the resort are stunning. I will definitely be returning.

Went for a business trip and some leisure. Hotel staff is phenomenal. So friendly and helpful. Our room was in the Ocean House. It was large and very nice. Beautiful view of the ocean! Friends played golf and enjoyed their experience. Bed was very comfortable. Large bathroom with towels galore! They have separate pools for kids and adults. We enjoyed the adult pool and bar. Would definitely recommend.
