👍 Tried the 2 popular pontian wanton shop on same day. Compared to Heng Heng, I enjoyed their thicker noodle texture,, milder ketchup and thin char siew slices. The black sauce noodles lean towards being sweet also. Wanton and fish ball both ordinary. People often mention sauce, noodle, black, taste, tomato,

Many wanton mee stalls to choose in Pontian District. We chose this one and the taste is different from the usual Pontian WTM in other parts of Malaysia or Singapore. Here one can get Tomato or Black Pepper source that one can’t find elsewhere!

Delicious tomato base wanton noodles. Noodles are cooked al dente and springy to the bite. Gobbled down within 5 minutes.

Red sauce Wanton noodle, unique to Pontian. Tasted sweet to most, much enjoyed it. Noodles well cooked and soup tasty yet not salty. Restaurant busy yet staffs and boss remain friendly. Avoid lunch time.

Nice Tomato Wanton Noodle. Noodle is Tangy/QQ like a Pontian noodle should be. For Singaporean, I think I would prefer black sauce with Chilli... Still the Tomato based one taste good. 1 serving of noodle is enough in my opinion as I find it getting a bit too full with 1 and 1/2 serving. Wish they could be more generous on the Char Siew! Was a bit too little for me. For those passing by Pontian, give it a try.

The noodles are 10/10. The sauce however, is an acquired taste. Can't get used to eating ketchup sauce yet. The soup is also nice (Bentong's wantanmee soup is nicer, with very fragrant ginger taste), as well as the wantan and fishball. If i were to come back again, I'd order the black sauce noodle.

Yummy flavorful food - we appreciated the garlic veggies and nice alkaline noodles. Thai chicken was pretty good too. Tasty chili sauce.

Always like the atmosphere of traditional Kopi Tiam. I would recommend the tomato only wantan mee. It brought back the memory of the stall I ate back at Kim Keat Road,SG in the 80s when I was a kid!

Noodle is so QQ and wanton is great. Must try their otah too. Really nice sauce but if u are not fan of tomato sauce you may order with black sauce. I would recommend to try their original sauce with chilli. I even ordered extra wanton soup bowl because it was soooo gooood.

Order the tomato dry noodle. Overall taste is good however not everyone like the taste of the tomato source. Suggest you can go for the original dry noodle.
