Dined at this place twice! The seafood were cooked in home style..very familiar taste and delicious. As the seafood were fresh..simple ingredients like garlic and chilli makes it tasty. The fried kway teow was full of wok hey but should be more generous in the gradients, such as cockles and fish cake. Serving was fast and waiting staff was friendly. A good rustic dining experience by the river.

A truly rustic place. The food is absolutely amazing. Since its Saturday, the prawn noodles is marvelously sweat inducingly full flavoured. The lo mee was told to be awesome delish. Prawn paste fried chicken wings is succulently out of this world. Today's local produce is cuttlefish, which was steamed with chili padi, OMG sweet and fresh. The braised chicken claws is really old school tasty. Highly recommended.

Very good seafood here. Big fresh prawn and fresh fish. The environment is also quite special , by the river side. Local style restaurant.

Simple place to enjoy your seafood. We bring our own beer go there. Seafood here quite fresh and cheap. We love our fried fish. They close on Monday. Besides this restaurant is river, can see few fisherman boat park at side. Nice place to enjoy your meal beside river. We reach quite late and lot of seafoods not available

Kedai Makan Kurau is located by the Pontian river, offering seafood dishes with some stir fry noodles & soup noodle. The stir fry prawn is not bad but the vegetable is a bit weird in taste.

Low profile eatery. Do not expect restaurant ambience. But fantastic seafood. We ordered x5 dishes (5pax) which came up to rm95 only. Fried rice is spicy but appetising. Best Lala,fresh and juicy. Lor mee is so so.

Unique dining experience for kids. Next to the river/sea. Very fresh seafood. Local home cook style. Business is very good. Expect a longer waiting time. Can come and try if you want to try something different. So close to natural, enjoy the wind while having lunch. Must try.....

The food always never disappointed me, the restaurant environment became much more cleaner after their renovations! The only problem is they have very limited parking spaces here.

The food taste is above of the average, but not every single prawn is fresh. The price is pricey, and the portion is small.

the place is alittle remote but no problem for car or bike. they serve good zichar food and every day of the week they have different "dish for the day" its located beside a river which is quote interesting. you will see monitor lizqrd swiming around and no they wont bother you.
