Good atmosphere with pleasant staff. The food is well prepared and well presented. Although the curry I was served could have been warmer, and one piece of jackfruit felt tough, which was a surprise, as if it hadn't been cooked long enough. Otherwise, a nice place with a nice view is the park across the river. The whole of two three walls comprise full length and full width picture windows. Worth a visit.

Visited with two friends at peak time this evening with a packed restaurant. Ordering using the app we had our drinks within 30 seconds. Staff were attentive at all times even though they were stretched thin. Prices are equivalent to Wetherspoons (CHEAP!) but the burger was superb, faultless. No mistakes, food all arrived similar times. Standout was the waiting staff who were flat out but still attentive and on the ball. Well worth tipping the (optional) 20% on the app as I hope all customers do. Great place for a restaurant in ponty with parking next door. Churros were stunning!

The guy who served us was very friendly and professional, after receiving the food he did a check back to see if we were all happy and made the whole experience enjoyable. Was surprised when he told us he was only on his 2nd week but comming from a fine dining background I can tell he is well suited to the role. Cheers guys :) (And gal) 👍🏼🍄👏

Very nice place if you’re happy with the menu. Happy to return in a group if they wished too visit, as the “lounge breakfast” is ok...though why put pepper on the eggs?. The “chocolate salted caramel sundae” is excellent though.

Had a lovely brunch & carrot cake here. Really nice atmosphere and staff friendly and accommodating. Also nice veggie/vegan options and ample parking in pay & display carpark. On my second visit I ordered the blueberry pancakes which were delicious! Highly recommended 👌

Lovely venue opposite the park with lovely decked outdoor space. All the team members were warm, welcoming and very friendly. I had my dog with me and she got some treats and a bowl of water brought to her. She also had a lot of fuss which she loved. Spacious enough for me to move and park the pram. The food was delicious, quality ingredients and just the right portion sizes (for me anyway). Really nice cafe with great food and staff 🥰.

Stopped off at Gatto Lounge Pontypridd for a meal while in town. First time at Gatto Lounge and my initial impressions were that it was a really nice place to eat. They have taken the effort to make the establishment a very nice atmosphere to eat in with plenty of chill out areas dotted around. The wall on the way downstairs to the toilets had a huge mural of Sir Tom Jones on it (would you expect anything less?). The food was excellent, with me having Lounge Bacon Cheeseburger and chips, washed down by a Hazy Jane IPA. The staff were all very friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them with our party of 6 people. 4 stars given solely because the toilets werent clean at the time of my visit, otherwise it would have been a 5 star review.

Wonderful little place. A dynamic space that is cosy, family friendly and casual all at the same time. The chairs were beautiful and stand out. The service was lovely and had the option to order from QR code or the bar. The wait staff were accommodating and cool. Food was divine and very reasonably priced. All manner of options for occasions and the cocktail/mocktail is expansive and wonderful. We had the buttermilk chicken and the mexican superbowl with halloumi and chorizo added. Can not reccomend enough.

First time here, on arrival I went up to the counter as there was no on at the “wait here to be seated” sign and asked for a Latte. Found a table to sit while waiting. First thing to notice was the table as it wasn’t very clean and quite a lot of food debris on the floor,I used the QR code to order my brunch, didn’t have to wait too long for my food to arrive it when it did it was at a warm-ish temperature so a bit disappointing. Overall good value and good atmosphere.

I have celebrated my birthday there today and even though it was a busy day staff did their best to make sure everyone was happy with the service! They offer high range of food, including gluten free and vegan options, also atmosphere is so relaxed and dog friendly. I’ll definitely come back here again!

First time at Gatto lounge on Saturday morning and absolutely loved it. Horrible & wet outside but we walked into a great buzzing atmosphere with all ages and walks of life. Staff friendly and helpful and the food genuinely impressive. Normally we’re quite wary of ‘cafe-bar’ style places that offer a glitzy looking menu but often disappoint with style over substance, but not in this case! The coffee was fantastic (nice to see Clifton coffee over here) and the Miami Brunch and lounge breakfasts were delicious. Will definitely be back!

I've been here a handful of times with friends. It's very reasonably priced, lovely food and very friendly staff. The atmosphere is great and its a great place to go for food any time of the day, or just for some cocktails.

We reserved a table for 8 people at the Ghatto Lounge for my daughter's 18th birthday on Wednesday 2nd August at 5.30pm. What an amazing time we all had. The atmosphere, staff and food was just brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. We brought Caitlyn's cake down earlier in the day and after our meal a member of staff brought the cake to the table, we all started singing happy birthday and the whole of the Ghatto Lounge joined in. It was just awesome !👌. I cannot thank the staff enough for making it such a memorable evening. Hats off to the chef to as the food was so very tasty and beautifully presented. THANK YOU! 😊
