    Zero bordering 1 star. Awful - restaurant was chaotic and dirty. Maintenance staff working on the ceiling where food was being prepared - not ideal. Many customers waiting and staff from delivery services waiting. Restaurant was covered in used remnants of some Halloween celebration. The most noticeable thing was how dirty and filthy the common surface areas were. From the the main door, the tables and to the self service machines! This is a very dated McDonald’s, most definitely requires a major refurbishment - overall a very unpleasant experience.

    Maybe my own fault, should’ve checked before I drove off, but ‘large’ fries only half full with no bottom of the baggers either.

    What can i say? Over two months and NO hot chocolate! Moody order takers at the order screen. Over £5 for a double mcmuffin meal now. And it looks like its been thrown together by Stevie Wonder during a power cut. And nice grey eggs to go with it too! Absolute rubbish. You should send your staff to alder hills! At least they serve with a smile! Take your money elsewhere folks!

    How did the staff at wessex gate poole not see the huge piece of plastic when they were making my burger ,???. absolutely shocking , bought today Saturday 15th April aprox 11.53am drive through

    Received mouldy eggs in my sausage n egg McMuffin but was told they were just over cooked, I’ve seen and over cooked my own eggs and they didn’t look like this!

    No milkshakes available at all, no hot chocolate, those hot drinks you could have wouldn't access on the app. Staff slow but pleasant enough with the exception of a young man called Sam. He was exceptional! So friendly and helpful. 10/10 for him! Hope his manager appreciates him, as he should. We were also missing part of our order and Sam sorted immediately and with a smile. Very nice chap. 😊

    Worst MCDONALD ever. Ordered Meal with Salad box and it has a big caterpillar in salad. They don’t even clean the salad leaf. I just lost trust in McDonald’s. Never ever gonna try McDonald’s ever. Definitely will raise this to food safety department.

    Takeaway meal cold, item missing, burger looked liked it had been chucked in the box. I tried to telephone to complain but nobody answered. Went back on my way home from work. Spoke to a "manager" who said he would replace the missing item which I refused. I wanted a refund but he as much as called me a liar and walked off and left me at the counter. I have emailed but have not yet had an acknowledgement. Very poor customer service.

    I made an order on just eat and when it arrived it was only half the order and it was cold. I made a call the the restaurant and was met with a complete disregard to any form of accountability! Yes I made the order though just eat but it was McDonald’s staff that made the food and packed it in the bags. I understand the food been cold is not on them but the missing items is. I spoke to a manager and was given a complete farce of an answer. “It’s an issue for just eat contact them.” It is not difficult to read an order from a screen and take the time to check it!

    Popped in this morning and used the ladies toilets while waiting for our order. The floor is there was so slippery not through water but felt like grease or some wrong product used. I immediately went to inform a member of staff and she said she knew but carried on sorting the folding she was doing. If she knew she should've sorted it or at the very least gone and put slippery floor signs up. It took over 20 minutes for our food to arrive and in this time no one went to sort it out. Our coffees had been sat on the counter while waiting for rest of order and the lid wasn't even put on the drinks properly. Unimpressed with this branch.

    Treble sausage muffin with a hash brown stacker 10/10 The staff were very friendly and approachable and were organised with a militant approach to customer service. Our food came quickly it was fresh and pipping hot. Top notch experience. People are quick to slander Donald's when the service isn't quite up the scratch but the 20 car que says otherwise Poole deserve a big pat on the back.

    The staff are very helpful and polite. I've now been here a few times now but have never reviewed it. But I felt I had to due to how nice the staff are and how clean the restaurant was. The staff are all hard working. I have visited several McDonald's here and abroad and I would say this is the cleanest McDonald's I have visited, when visiting you can see all the effort the staff are putting into it to keep this way. I have not visited the restroom so cannot comment on these.

    Be careful on table service as my was 32 min late. That was me chasing my order, if I didn’t do that god knows how long do I have to wait for. Apart from that it’s same like all other McDonald’s ie food. Big car park and drive through is normally busy. Lots of shopping center close by.

    Pretty much your typical McDonald’s restaurant. The drink was cold, and the chicken nuggets were fresh and tasty. However, the manager who packed my order missed off a sauce and the fries were cold and chewy. Contacted support and they gave me compensation, so can’t complain.

    Terrible experience. Food was served stone cold and took 25mins. When ordered there was nobody in front but last served. Our order must of been standing the whole time as the food was cold and drinks that had ice had gone warm. Will not be returning to this McDonald's. Not first time it's happened at this one! Avoid!! 5/10mins up road another McDonald's much better service 👌

    The best McDonald's experience I have ever had. Visited early morning for breakfast and breakfast was ready super quick and was hot, fresh and very tasty. Toilets were also clean. If only every McDonald's experience was like this!

    It's probably the worst McDonalds I've ever been to. Drive through prioritised over eating in customers - regularly wait times of over 15 mins for 'fast' food. The new interior is a massive divide between staff and customers, and makes a really weird atmosphere of a waiting room.... which is exactly what it is ironically. Organised chaos from what you can see through the gap into the kitchens with staff actively avoiding peed off customers stood awquardly waiting for food. Greasy interor with no visible presence of staff making it feel a dark and confusing. Very poorly run. Avoid and head for another franchaise in poole or tower park. If you could harness the power of human Blood pressure, this store could power Poole from the negative energy sapped from customers patience. Seriously, dont even bother with this place. Your welcome 👍

    Waited 25 minutes for a fillet'o'fish meal, when I got it, it was cold, they probably left it sitting for 20 minutes and forgot my order. They definitely prioritise drive-thru over dine-in customers. Burger King was just as bad.

    Order wraps from Just Eat and came without any salad. No call to say they were going to be short of ingredients or any sort of warning or informative communication. This £23 will be the last I will be spending at this branch.

    12th June 2022 around 8pm. Food was standard and the Italian burger was quite nice. However the service was very slow, I waited maybe 20 minutes but some people waited for well over 35 for their meals. The staff displayed no sense of urgency towards the situation and the duty manager made very little attempt to take control. I do not know what the cause of the issue was; staffing or equipment failure, but any amount of effort goes along way and might help deal with the flood of customer complaints. Speaking as personal experience as a chef, I believe the staff management was to blame and I recommend extra staff training to fix this situation and prevent it from happening again.

    Place is a complete joke, ordered 2 breakfast meals and they couldn't even sent the correct items, the hash browns where missing one of the drinks was missing and when you tried to contact them they won't answer the bloody phone, and trying to complain through the app is a mission in its self. Are the staff half asleep when packing the orders for people,we are paying for a service and getting ripped off .

    If I could if 0star I would Ordered though drive thou for 6 All chips missing and 2burgers wrong Phone them, go back explain get everything missing and what was wrong and 2 other people come in with same problem no chips in their orders!! The manager was told we were there 3times wanted 15mins for him to stop walking around the kitchen. They are far from short staffed, they were dodging each there were so many.

    The McDonald's was a life saver that night as I arrived at Poole very late that evening and I was very desperate for a nice meal to compensate for the long journey from home and guarantee a good night sleep. It was a treat for the whole family, we enjoyed the quick food nicely, the conducive atmosphere, and very helpful staff therein. I wouldn't mind another visit anytime I am in Poole!

    Fast food this is most definitely not! Half hour wait if you're lucky, don't ask for ice cream if you have a big order as they often leave it under the lights for it to melt...Definitely worth driving up to Tower Park mc donalds or go to subway.

    The place was well understaffed, causing massive queues, errors in food orders, and cold food. I'm really considering if it was worth the allocation of ANY stars. The only member of staff who I would commend was the female cleaner who was really pleasant to the customers and children and ensured everywhere was clean, litter free, and trays were cleaned 👏

    Very very good, everytime I've been It hasn't failed me, well I say that sometimes they forget the straws but nothing horrendous. I got a 6 piece nuggets and got 7 (I know who did this did it on purpose to make my day a bit better) it did, thank you :)

    We were absolutely blown away with our service. My young child fell off his seat and the staff went above and beyond to make sure he was ok - he was fine. The staff were really friendly, helpful and polite the moment we walked through the door. We had to keep reminding ourselves we were in a McDonalds!! Great experience, will visit again thank you.
