Went here with my mom for a nice lunch. (My mom appreciates small mom and papa business) the teenage boy waiter was so sweet and helpful, although we found the manger all over the place and rude to her workers. Such a nice place to eat with good food but management needs some cleaning up! Mom ordered a Patti melt with fried green beans and I got a grilled chicken salad, we enjoyed every bite it was delicious! Definitely Will stop in again for the food, just not for the management.

Small town restaurants don't get any better than this. Super nice employees and the tasty food to back it up? If you're in Poplar Bluff and want a fantastic, made to order breakfast this is the place to go. The omelet sandwich on Texas Toast was a solid hit and the blueberry roll and chocolate gravy were as decadent and yummy as they are supposed to be. It's definitely going on our "stop by again" list because we want to give their lunch a shot next time. Plus, our puppy appreciated the love and bacon. 💜

I paid $12.00 for a “bbq” sandwich that had never even seen a bbq pit. That was the worst meat I’ve had in a bbq sandwich by far. Incredibly dry and flavorless. Just get the pink lemonade if you don’t mind paying for a cup filled to the brim with crushed ice and maybe 3-4 shots of lemonade. Ridiculous. Wouldn’t recommend. The staff were very friendly though. That’s about it.

Love this place. Best burgers in town. The famous lemonade will not disappoint you. Love how you can get to choose from a variety of sides. Recommend trying the cheese balls.

I'm from out of town obviously. So I went in and I ordered a burger and fries. 5 minutes a mailman came in and ordered the same. I was waiting around and then I had to run out to my car for a second because I have my dog with me. When I came back in the mailman was leaving with my food and I had to wait another five or so for mine. Ain't no local mailman that's more important than any other paying customer. The food was low-grade. I don't know why some Cooks think they got to smash and cook the hell out of a burger and turn it into a piece of leather...

I was visiting family in Polar Bluff and went to Hayden’s as a kid visiting PB during summers. The Hayden’s pink lemonade is world famous! You must try it if you’ve never had it. It was interesting revisiting the place as an adult. It was as good as I remembered. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries, it was the best meal I had during my short 3 day visit. It’s a special place, hold lots of memories for hundreds if not thousands of people. The building has changed over time, but the inside was clean and welcoming. The food was prepared to order, served hot and yummy. I look forward to another visit with my fam, and of course, another stop in at Hayden’s.

Small diner with good food. The cheese balls are the nest I've ever had. The burger was basic but well prepared and delicious. The lemonade really is good and served in generous portions. Staff did a great job.

The food was good. The lemon aid was great, and it was very noisy and loud

Was a cute little drive up Mom and Pop Burger joint. The online menu is incorrect so my meal was way more than I expected. The quality was all right but not for the price. In the way they have the drive-thru set up which is the only way you can order is very messy as in cars everywhere and not long enough area for the car to line up.

The owner was SO welcoming and courteous! The food was home cooked and delicious at affordable rates. A little off the beaten path (which I love) and WELL worth it! Will be back the next time we come through Poplar Bluff.

Burgers, j,c balls, chocolate gravy best ever!!! Biscuits, gravy, etc gag! My egg 🥚 was excellent double yolks!!! Lemonade best!! I don't like lemon but this OLD FAMILY RECIPE Cherry lemon shaved ice. Asked about raw hashbrowns owner tried to justify, sausage gravy had sugar gag.

Went on the weekend with my wife, my four children, and I. Took 25 minutes to get someone to even come to the table and get our orders (hadn't even gotten drinks yet!), and that's only because I walked up to the counter and asked for help. Food was delicious, but took almost an hour. I asked for a manager and she told me there wasn't one (??). I guess the manager thought taking the weekends off- arguably one of their busiest times- would be a fine idea. This is what happens when you have a handful of high school kids managing the place on the weekends. :) My wife worked here as her first job, and Jewel (previous owners) would have never found this to be acceptable service. She ran a tight ship and it showed with terrific food and outstanding service. The waitress was apologetic and clearly overwhelmed. Again, this was just a high school kid. These sorts of issues start from the top down- the manager should have been there paying attention to this stuff. I told her the service is definitely going downhill and she did apologize. Since there was no management oversight, I still left her a decent tip. Get a manager in there to clean house. Food is delicious as always, so we'll be back. On nostalgia and still delicious food... three stars. We'll be back, and hope to see some improvements.

Great smoked ham BBQ. I'm still givin them 5 stars, but them fries were still hard, uncooked, yet soggy. The ham made up for it!

Beans and slaw were good lemonade was also good. The bbq ham was terrible and tough they definitely need to learn how to use the bbq pit
