Since I discovered this place I always try to visit either once or twice when working nearby. Service is super friendly and the food is amazing. If you really love sushi, you’ll love Fuji !

Great food, it's nice to have a little variety.

$$ Pricey compared to other establishments. Food was good but not great for what I expected. Not at all like Fuji's in Jonesboro, slightly disappointed.

I've never been to a japanese restaurant that did not offer a vegetarian meal. We asked if we could order soba noodles without meat but with veggies. The server (who was very nice) said "yes." I confirmed that it would still have sauce and veggies. She said "yes " and said she would just ring up chicken soba without the chicken. No problem. After a long wait, we were brought the plate in the photo. This is a $12 plate of noodles. This is about the size of one pack of ramen noodles. The cook plated these dried noodles and sent them out. We ordered 2 plates. $24 could buy a lot of ramen at the store. I called the server back over and explained to her I've never seen a japanese restaurant without a vegetarian option and we were just surprised at the lack of food on this plate. I asked her if that was a $12 plate of noodles. She said she would see what she could do. She returned and said the manager wanted to make it a $6 meal. These noodles do not look appealing at all and I told her we would rather pay for the appetizer we ate and leave. She said she would go get the manager. When he came to the table, he argued with me for a while about those being the only noodles they have. We were not trying to get out of paying for anything we had eaten. I've never sent food back in my life. This was already embarrassing and compounded by the owner/manager arguing loudly with us about it at the table. The server was super friendly and I apologized to her, left her a tip, paid for the edamame and vegetable tempura (both of which were about half size portions of what you would typically see) and we left. The only apology came from me. And I am, sorry I chose to eat here.

I had the lunch special bento box. Didn’t know what to expect, but it had a lot of fun different tasty treats in it. My buddy had some sushi rolls that looked decent. For an isolated place in Missouri, it looks like a good spot.

This restaurant has two sides. One side is traditional restaurant and the other side is the cook stations where they cook in front of you. We sat on the cook station side and I wish we had chosen the other side. The food was okay but very salty. The rice was so salty that I left a lot on the plate because I could not eat it. For the most part, as I said, the food was good but, it was your average Japanese Steak house restaurant. Service was good but I felt that the cook had lost steam in his cooking. He was not very energetic.

I came here yesterday for my birthday, and it was probably one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. Everyone was super attentive and very kind, I was wished Happy Birthday so much, and at the end of my meal they even came out and sang, which I was not expecting at all. I also had probably the best crab rangoon I've ever had, they were so good. So shout out to everyone that works there, especially my waitress Laney, you were absolutely wonderful. -Bee

Wonderful strip mall restaurant! The staff and service were friendly and attentive. The meal itself was well prepared with good presentation, and tasted fabulous. The prices were mid-range and affordable for a sit down restaurant. I have absolutely no complaints. I would recommend it to friends, family, and those looking for a child friendly dining experience. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures of the food... next time, because I will be going back.

I was traveling from out of town and stopped by for dinner. Exceeded my expectations for food quality. Fish was fresh and portion size was above average. Service was fast and friendly. Would recommend!

Food was great. Service needs a little improvement. But staff was friendly. It's very possible we were there on a bad day. Happens to every restaurant. I do recommend this place. It's a good place to eat.

Fair pricing, friendly staff. We had 3 of the boxes, two beef and one salmon. Would have been 5 star but the salmon was a little overcooked and drowning in sauce. Other than that, clean restaurant and good food. Update: Today, everything was perfect. Thanks for the great supper!!

Our sever was amazing, the food was delicious (and plentiful) and the atmosphere was lovely. We went to the hibachi side, the lighting and seating over there is such a vibe! We absolutely loved it! Our server was friendly and attentive. We ordered chicken teppanyaki and sushi (California Roll & Shrimp Tempura Roll). Everything was perfect and the chef was so entertaining as well! We had such a good time!

My wife sent back her order and a very angry manager quizzed us about why. We both got very sick that night with cramps and diarrhea.

Really nice dine in experience, very friendly staff, food was so fast to the table, prepared well, sushi rolls held together very well, tightly wrapped, and they never let my drink empty. Best experience thus far in poplar bluff for dining in I’ve had.

I love this restaurant. They offer great lunch choices. The staff are friendly and helpful. Every time we go there we are very happy with the food and service.

The food quality, staff, and cleanliness blew me away, but the only downside was how expensive the food was. I am not a typical sushi eater so the price may be reasonable, but to me it seemed high. Definitely a good date spot!

Very disappointed in our experience yesterday . I ordered a cajun crawfish roll and was brought a regular crawfish roll. When I told the waitress that is not what I ordered she just looked at me and didn't offer to replace it or make it right . I told her I would just eat it but after trying it, I did not like the special soy paper so I asked if I could get what I ordered instead. She acted very inconvenienced by this and stated I'll have to check with my manager and see if I can do that . I was brought a new roll and it was delicious but the service was lacking. The prices are also much higher than other Japanese Steak Houses in the area. I hope with Watami coming in that they will have some competition and do a better job .

Excellent customer service & Outstanding Food! LARGE PORTIONS. I had the Steak & Chicken stir fry came with a small side salad, vegetables & Rice. Price came too around $26.00. Had lots of leftovers.

Friendly, fast service and pretty good food. I couldn’t believe how fast we got served and our food came out crazy fast. The sushi roll lunch special was a decent price and no complaints about the taste. The miso soup had a really great flavor. This place checks all the boxes for a good Japanese food experience.

Real clean restaurant server was great fast and friendly had 7 orders of sushi and a regular meal for the person in our party that don't eat sushi all of it was great

Had an amazing experience with Fuji, their sushi was divine the hibachi could use a bit off work, I wish they had true hibachi and their portions were a bit smaller than I’m use to with hibachi but it was delicious

Food was amazing. Staff was superb. Prices were competitive but not "not affordable". Boyfriend doesn't like sushi but got a deep-fried roll and loved it. Very much worth the visit ☺️
