Tourist attraction β€’ Park

πŸ‘ Northern most part of Whitireia. Accessible by road along the bottom of the road or via walking track from the top parking areas of Whitireia. Great area for snorkeling and diving. Lots of seahorses in the right conditions.

A beautiful spot. Quiet too. I came here with my toddler for some winter sunshine and to throw rocks into the pools left behind by the sea. He was fascinated by the creatures in the rockpools and I can't wait until he is a nut steadier on his feet and can properly explore. The view of Mana island is stunning. And it's fun to watch the boats going in and out of Paremata.

Near Porirua (5' in car), if you want to walk, to run, to bike and enjoy the nature, alone, in a couple, little group or with your dog, here is possible and it takes one hour (to walk...) Why only 4 stars ✨? Because there are other places even more beautiful...

Lovely spot to go for a walk or swim in summer. The access road is a little small in places, so take your time on those blind corners.

Great swimming rock pool, best when it's not too windy, also wear shoes over the rocks as they are pretty sharp!

Nice spot nice view over towards Mana and Plimmerton. Some Rock pools and Sandy beaches. Walkways are nice. Easy for bike riding. My 5 year old loves this ride around the park.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ The beach is a lovely spot for you and your family to stroll around the area, enjoy the breeze, and swim when the weather permits. It has quite a long coast line, shallow water for you and the kids to swim at, and enough space to do some sport activities. You can park in the nearest parking lot and...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Both ladies at the entrance were very nice, we talked about police work. The museum is beautiful, with interesting information, you can touch many things with your hands. We bought beautiful souvenirs - plush kiwi birds in police uniforms.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ A wonderful walk with a few different routes. The stairs are a great fitness route for this so inclined. ~800 steps to raise your heart rate. There is a nice 6km walk option, which can be used both directions by walkers and uphill only by bikes.
