Was not impressed with the service at this cafe. A sullen server and they didn't have the chocolate dessert that they had advertised. A nice cafe, with nice food, but they need to up their game service wise

Good coffee and friendly service.

April2021: out for a Sunday drive. Stopped in for a takeaway Coffee&Cake Flight coffee, 1st time I've had this. A full cup, hot could be/should be stronger in flavour. The Caramel slice 100%.

Fantastic coffee, but the café itself is painfully loud - I'm not usually sensitive to noise so I don't say that lightly. My cheese scone was light and fluffy but barely tasted of cheese.

Great little cafe, emphasis on the little - not much space during peak times but fantastic food at a reasonable price. Coffee is okay, food nice and fresh. Enjoy my visits when I do stop in.

The renovation looks great, Food was amazing, Rosti felt homemade and so tasty! and coffee was excellent, nice and hot and great size. 10/10 will come back again.

Coffee was great. Sunny inside and out. There was a draught at the table we had, but the staff were friendly and I think they would have made adjustments if we had asked. We accepted it.

Always great food and great service. They make their own bread and their salads are spot on. Make sure you pick up a Goody Card on the counter. Show card at all local shops and build up Goody points. Turns into free meals when points add up. Worth having. We have had many free breakfasts at Nish and free meals at the Co-Op.

Always friendly staff and good food and beverages

Only cafe in Whitby and the food is really good and reasonably priced.The staff are friendly and courteous. No theme happening or low music. However this is personal preference , I found the Flight coffee double shot in small cup to be very weak.

Lovely cafe with great food. I have been there every Friday for the last 3 weeks and had a different meal each time which is great as I only eat vegetarian. Only downside and the reason I didn't give a 5 was for the first two weeks one person ruined the whole experience, she was incredibly grumpy, did not speak to us and just roughly plonked our food and drinks on the table. Today she was not there and the place deserved a 5.

I always enjoy the food. And my daughter spilt her fluffy, one of the servers cleaned it up and then brought over another one! Was super impressed as he totally didn’t have to do that, made my child’s day

Sunday morning breakfast was delicious, the staff were friendly and the premises were clean and tidy. We arrived mid morning and managed to get a table before the crowds turned up. Prices are reasonable.

New in the area, and popped in for a coffee and milkshake with my 2 Small kids over the weekend. Staff are very friendly and helpfull. There is lots of entertainment (books, puzzles, and colouring) options for the little ones. Keep up the good work guys, we'll be back with the whole Family soon.

One thing about Nish is that the quality of food, coffee, and service doesn't change. It's always great. Tried Eggs Benedict for the first time there. Now I'm hooked.

I had the pancakes with banana and bacon. The serving was very generous, so much so that my husband had to finish my meal. He had poached eggs with bacon and we both had a trim flat while. Service very efficient. Due to it raining the cafe was full with people having to be turned away, one of the few cafes in Whitby.

Nice food. Plenty of parking. If GPS to Cafe ensure you put the "a" into 69a so "69a Discovery Drive, Whitby, Porirua" else without "a" will end up 900 meters short (outside a residential house).

Great cafe in the heart of Whitby, the staff are friendly, and helpful, especially the chap on the coffee machine! The food is spot on, whether it be from the cabinet, or the freshly prepared food from the kitchen. It gets very busy during lunch and mid-morning which reinforces they're doing a great job. Keep up the good work team!

Great wee cafe with lots of drink and cake options to choose from, yum! Unfortunately there is only 1 highchair (with no security straps or tray) available in the whole cafe and I found that was quite disappointing! I’d definitely go back, just gotta take the babes in the pram instead. Luckily there is just about enough room for those 😋 anyway, I’d recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. The food was excellent, good portion sizes, and reasonable prices. There was a wait for our food, but they were quite busy when we visited and with such good food, it was easy to see why they're always busy.

Took a while to get a takeaway item from the cabinet heated, far longer than it took to eat it! Not much in the way of dairy free, not labled. A couple of gluten free options. Not great for dietary restrictions.

Nish has come a long way, as one of the few cafes in Whitby it's kind of a go to place. Over the years I have had mixed experiences but overall they seem to be trying to keep customers and improve. I still have issues with their coffee and as it's not constrained to one barista, it must be their machine or coffee. That being said, the food is great especially their scones but the price is high so it's more a treat then a regular thing. Not bad overall

Beautiful Café in whitby serving Flight Coffee. Food is amazing and the staff are very friendly. The place is small and can be noisy when its busy but apart from that a wonderful overall experience.
