I really love this course! I have only been playing golf for 9 months and have played here 3 times. Everytime I have been here, the course has become more attractive. It is picturesque, wonderful holes, very well kept greens. Highly recommend playing here for a course in the country. Easy booking system to navigate and good process on getting onto the course. Look forward to more rounds and seeing the new building!

Whilst it's a challenging course, as a learner I love this place as it's super-quiet, tee times are spacious (20 minutes apart) and no-one else gets booked on your tee time - so you effectively have the course to yourself. It's extremely well maintained and I'm excited to see what the Morgan's do with this gem. If you find golf balls, there's a high chance they're mine (I've lost a LOT here!).

Great improvement on the redesigned course. Although really needs a qualified green's keeper to maintain course to a good standard. Volunteers are appreciated I am sure but the turf quality is in decline. Poor fertility and spraying quality is very apparent.. Plays well but could be so much better.

Best 9 hole in the region by far, huge amounts of work has been done to lift the greens and fairways to an excellent level. Love the 20 min gaps between tee off as don't have the pressure of someone always being right behind you making for a more enjoyable experience. Look forward to the ongoing development of the course! Love the challenge that comes with the second hole.

This is a beautiful, relaxed and casual litle golf course. It is newly redesigned, so if you haven't been there for a while, it is worth playing it again with the new layout. Thete has been lots of investment in new infrastructure. It is a real picture. Also has great views!! Because it is one of the lesser known golf courses around, it is not as busy as others and you can just turn up without needing to book. Yes, there are a few hills, but that just adds to the variety and challenge. Definitely not a boring course. At only $20 a round, it is one of the cheapest (if not the cheapest) courses in the Wellington region. Great for a fun game of golf or just a pleasant walk 🙂

Hubster and his friends have been playing this course quite a lot. They really like the Tee times being 20 mins apart, nice greens and a relaxed 9 holes with great views.

Great little gem of a course, thats well maintained and feels quite secluded. As it's a little more expensive now than it used to be, some other courses nearby offer better value for a round of 18.

Great 9 hole golf coarse.

Formerly Pauatahanui, 'The Morgans' is a great testing 9 hole course situated roughly 25mins from Lower Hutt or Wellington CBD. Greens were in great condition although a tad on the slow side. There is also no practice green at this stage but there are renovations ongoing including a new clubhouse. Tee times are 20 minutes apart giving breathing room particularly good in our case as we had a beginner. Be prepared for some hills and some very picturesque tee shots.
