I dragged the hubby and a few friends to go see “It’s a wonderful life!”. We weren’t sure what to expect, being new to Community Theater ….Oh WOW!!! Were we shocked and highly impressed!!! It’s unbelievable how much talent is tucked away in the Port Aransas Community!!! I’ve not seen the movie, but I highly doubt if it will be as memorable to me as the play, with all the talented cast and clever commercial additions!! We can’t wait for the next play to come out!!!

We had a wonderful time on April 22, 2022, experiencing the Port A Community Theater's performance of, "Grumpy Old Men- the Musical." The theatee is small, but seating was comfortable. Concessions included popcorn, snacks, soft drinks and a full bar. The performance was great. Very heartfelt. The singing was not always pitch-perfect, but that was fine! The set designs were really well done, and the actors moved things around under dim lighting between sets. All-in-all, this was an excellent production, both hilarious, and sad at times. Especially well acted was Grandpa Gustafson, played by veteran actor, Emily Regier. The stand out singer was Debra Miget-Aguilar, playing Ariel Truax. Really, the entire cast was great, with also emotional performances by Rick Adams, Tod Murphy, Jessica Albert, and Deborah Clark. BTW, this is not a "family" show as there are some lewd references! My two photos showing me, Deborah Clark, Rick Adams, Tod Murphy, and David Ogle.
