Great coffee well presented fresh food

The people are friendly the food is perfect and the idea of the train makes it perfect for a breakfast and lunch or just for a coffee

Atmosphere - casual, leafy green, heritage rail car - was great. The Anatolia Menemen was One of the best meals I have had. A must do when visiting Port Hedland.

Silver Star Cafe's unique location inside an old train carriage adds to its charm. Also offered outdoor seating. The experience was fun, although the milkshake could have been colder. Coffee, however, was enjoyable. If you're looking for a quirky dining spot, this is worth a visit.

Great brunch! This place is truly a gem. It's a converted train. I had the brekky burger, which was amazing and a lovely creamy Chai. My colleague had the full breakfast which was huge and had everything you would expect. Absolutely delicious, fresh and generous and staff were so friendly. Will definitely be back on our next trip to the Pilbara.

Building is a old train carriage, so look pretty cool. Interior is more sta fard cafe, so bit of a lost opportunity there. Great air con indoors, lifesaver on a hot day!

Meals are between $10 - $22. Average portion size. Had Ice Chocolate which was nice. Sat outside where the grassed area. Nothing spectacular about the place.

Loved it. Such a great idea to use this for a restaurant/Cafe. We sat inside and there was heaps of room. The lady that served us, one of the young table helps and the owner were all so lovely. We went back the next day. French toast was amazing!!!

Highly recommended this very cute and cosy air-conditioned cafe inside an old passenger carriage. Friendly welcoming staff, impressive coffee and stunningly presented food that was just as delicious. Happy to have found such a lovely place on my first day in Port Hedland.

The staff were really friendly and helpful and the Coffee was great. Our meals were brought to us in a timely manner but were they lost a star was my breakfast meal its self. The big breakfast arrived with only one very small hash brown one very small breakfast sausage and one piece of Bacon and two eggs with two slices of toast on the side cut in half with no butter or spread on them. My wife's meal how ever was really great she got the French toast Breakfast and I was Jealous it was that big and looked that good.

You need to train your front of house. They are lovely but need training. Bruschette is not cold tomatoes and onion on toast. Try toasted bread topped with room temperature tomatoes, parmesan cheese, garlic, and fresh basil. Use a high-quality balsamic vinegar. Contact me if you want some cooking lessons for free.

Awesome location inside the old Silver Star rail wagons. Great cappuccino and chai latte, relaxed atmosphere with lots of shade.

Table of 10, coffee out in 10 minutes, breakfast in 15 great service. Tasty hollandaise and the ricotta hotcakes were nice also.

Food was really tasty and the outside seating area was very pleasant. Had a nice relaxing lunch. Would definitely go again next time we're in Port Hedland.

Really good coffee, average breakfast but considering what's around there aren't really too much options so this is probably considered one of the better ones in the area.

Friendly service, meals were presented beautifully and in excellent time. Great value for money, we were not left hungry! The best coffee I've had in Hedland, that's for sure! Lovely indoor and outdoor seating, and plenty of space for my son to play. It was a lovely experience.
