Antonio’s is a hidden jewel in Port Hueneme. I was recommended Antonio’s by a family member that lives in Port Hueneme. The first thing that you notice it the constant stream of people coming in to pick up their orders. The bags are lined up and ready to pick up. Is it a family business with Ramon and Alex at the helm. They are the very welcoming and can recommend many popular dishes. They have been there since 2005 and survived the covid shutdown. I can see why they did. Look at my photos. I got the Seafood burrito. It is the best seafood burrito that I have ever had. When Alex was bringing it out. A customer asked what that dish was because it looks like a work of art. Again, look at my photos. My girlfriend got the chicken burrito and it was also excellent. The salsa is perfectly spicy and the chips are fresh. The parking is plentiful and there is plenty of room with a lot of seating. I highly recommend Antonio’s Mexican Food Restaurant.

My first time here and I was very impressed! I love the decor, service was fast and the steak fajitas were the best I've ever had! They came with a side of rice and beans, chips & salsa. All for $16.00 plus tax & tip of course

Great food, reasonable prices, and nice people that run this place! Ordered grilled shrimp, carne asada, and a burrito. Everything was delicious! The free chips and salsa was great as well. Service was quick and helpful. The pitcher of margaritas is always a good call :)

Awesome shredded beef, tacos, burritos, enchiladas. I can't believe it's been in business for 30 years and I missed this gem! This place is great! Fast and friendly service! I dined outdoors because my friend and I had our dogs with us. Very accommodating. Did I mention how good the shredded beef was? Yes I came back and ordered dinner to go!

Food was good. We got ours to go and the man who was helping us was super nice. The restaurant was cute, but we were glad we didn't eat in because there was a loud group of people at one of the tables being very inconsiderate of the other people dining at the restaurant.

I love this spot! Such bomb flavors in all their food/sauces. All their burritos and chimis come WET… yumm. Their chile relleno and cheese enchilada is really good. I especially love the way they make their salsa, rice and beans. vegetarian friendly

I had been burned with gringo Mexican recently and desperately needed good Mexican food after not being in California for several years. Antonio's DELIVERED! The carnitas tacos were outstanding and the service was perfect. I'll absolutely go there again next time I'm in Port Hueneme!

The weekend buffet is great. Staff is great. They have a TV to watch games. Beautiful bar area. Quiet during the day, busier at night.

Great hidden gem serving well priced Mexican food. All parties get a complementary serving of tortilla chips and an excellent salsa. I highly recommend the combo deals and specialty dishes, which come with a serving of rice and beans, very filling! Their corn tortillas are excellent, and their shrimp tacos were well prepared, without any fishy taste that you might get at other restaurants.

First, I’m vegetarian and ordered a cheese enchilada that had chicken in it. They never answered the phone and we called back….so we paid for an entirely wrong meal that was thrown in the trash. Second, the beans were crunchy. Nothing here is fresh and the meal was disgusting. And they don’t answer their phone. It was the worst food I’ve had, and the worst customer service I have ever had. Totally disgusting place. Nothing is fresh and I was sick for two days after eating there. My recommendation is, Don’t Go!

Quiet and relaxing except for the loudest blender that I have ever heard. Food was delicious and the staff was polite and attentive.

If I could give 0 stars I would. They can't cook Carné Asadà to save their restaurant. They don't even bother with effort anymore. This place is for old people with a bland taste for life. You get what you pay for.

This is a little hole in the wall or I should say a little gem in the wall. I've been coming here for years and I do have to say it's one of the tastiest Mexican authentic food around. I only visit for Sunday brunch. You have options you can either have a brunch with champagne, brunch alone, and kids brunch. They're options for the brunch are as followed; eggs benedict, morning potatoes, sausage, waffles, scrambled eggs, eggs with chorizo, potatoes with chorizo, chilaquiles, chile verde, chicharron with chile rojo, rice, beans, chile relleno, cheese enchilada, menudo and more. Alongside they have fruit desserts, homemade guacamole and homemade salsa. They're sitting area is very retro some may say that maybe a remodeling is needed I'm fine with the vintage sitting booth as long as the food & service is amazing... And it is. Each booth has a clear plastic divider due to covid regulations. They do have a small bar they have a few TVs tune in to sports. Do come early they open at 9:00 a.m. because it gets really busy and food tends to run out faster than they refill. I'm usually there at 8:45. The atmosphere is very family oriented small and pops vibe type of restaurant. It's very comforting it's close to where I live and therefore is very inconvenient I'm always happy the food tastes great and their customer service is also amazing. You will catch me here about twice a month, only Sundays.

Scrumptious Seafood Enchiladas (red snapper & shrimp) cooked perfect and paired with veggies and rice. Light meal for dinner! Chips are fresh & salsa not so spicy but it's good. Mgmt is very sweet and welcoming. Happy to check this place out & no regrets!!

Fresh food, though lacking some spice for good Mexican food. We had fajitas and fish tacos. Yummy tortillas and great salsa.

The Pizza was popping hot and delicious. This was the first time I tried the pizza with chicken an pineapple on it. I tell you it was mouth watering and very satisfying. The crush was just right and chewy. Just delicious!!!!

Best Mexican restaurant I have ever visited after 25+ years in California and several times in Mexico. We visit every time when in the area. Never disappointed. Excellent food and service. Authentic atmosphere. Strongly recommended.
