I decided to check this place out before the official opening and was highly impressed. I couldn't find anything that I would change. It's a smaller place so it feels intimate. The decor and lighting was perfect and had a comfy feel. The service was warm and great. I got to try the akang roll, seared tuna, dragon martini, potato cakes, and a hibachi dinner. The hibachi comes with choice of meat (or vegetarian option), rice, soup, and salad. Everything tasted perfectly. My sister even loved the sushi and she hates sushi! The prices are also really reasonable. I love that the owners and management are invested in what their customers like and want. They have vegan options. I highly recommend this place.

If you like fun, fiery dinners, the hibachi grill here is for you. If you don’t, maybe you should sit at one of the tables on the perimeter. The food was great (we had hibachi and some sushi) and the hibachi chef was fun and funny. We came for my son’s birthday dinner and on the way home he decided that this will be his traditional birthday dinner from here on out! I’m sure we’ll be back before that though!

This is our new favorite sushi and hibachi place! At first I didn't have high hopes because it took forever for our chef to join the table and for our drinks to come. However, once service started and we got to eat we were very impressed. Our chef was fun to watch and very interactive. He gave our table two rounds of sake squirts and also presented us with this lovely fire at the end. My husband's veggies were actually cooked fully and had a perfect sear. It's always been a pet peeves of ours when our veggies aren't cooked fully. His scallops and steak was perfectly seasoned and he had a pretty generous portion. I ordered 2 sushi rolls. The glass city roll was humongous and absolutely delicious so much so I ordered another to try which was the raider roll. Although, smaller this one was by far my favorite the level of spice was perfect and the fish inside tasted very fresh and complimented the each very well. My only complaints were wait time to be served and higher prices than normal. However, this will be our go to from now on! I have attached a picture of the glass city roll. Didn't get a picture of the raider roll because I devoured it too quickly. UPDATE: Went back two separate times for birthdays and the food was not the same. Husband and I spent the night in the bathroom on both occasions.

Went on a Monday, slow service, not busy, only one chef, bartender took forever to make drinks and gave old rotten limes in drinks, overpriced. Also they charge you to cook your rice….see menu! Food tastes the same as every other hibachi place, nothing special about the sushi rolls I have not seen or tasted yet! Will not be back! Also super small can’t hear conversations due to noise around us

So called "Japanese restaurant" but ran by Americans. Ordered 3 sushi, but it was the most mediocre thing ever, comparable to Kroger's sushi. Pretty expensive also, spent around $55. Didn't order hibachi since it's literally a scam. It's just overpriced fried rice and lo-mein that somehow Americans are overly obsessed with.

This has the be one of the best tasting hibachi restaurants I’ve ever been to! Everything was delicious 🤤 service was on point! Very friendly and attentive staff ⭐️ my family had a wonderful experience here.

Delicious food! We all had different hibachi meats and they all were amazing! I don't like fish, but I tasted my husband's salmon and I actually liked it. Everyone loved the sushi. The noodles were phenomenal! The chef and staff were great! I highly recommend this place! My only regret, is that we were almost done eating and I realized I had forgotten to take pictures.

We have visited Rayoka several times. The staff is outstanding, friendly, prompt, and helpful. The menu offers a great selection and is plentiful. Our favorites are tuna tataki, chicken hibachi dinner, and the fried ice cream. Portions are presented beautifully and are generous. Rayoka is our preferred Japanese restaurant.

Great happy hour. Good sushi, but we prefer the upgraded sushi rolls... Happy hour (traditional) sushi is still pretty good though. Services had always been good. We haven't tried the hibachi but friends have given it mixed reviews.

Second time back here definitely doesn't disappoint first time trying one of their cocktails out very unique quite. Definitely recommend the roll de yum sushi roll 🍣 great customer service friendly chef cooking the hibachi very fun times when dining here definitely love that atmosphere and vibes! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT ESTABLISHMENT 💯

For drinks we ordered a pepsi, water, dirty vodka martini and a smoked Manhattan. For our food my husband order the sushimi dinner and I ordered the Handroll dinner. The martini glass was cracked and chipped but my husband walked up to the bar and they took care of it right away. We were irritated they combined our dinners onto a sushi boat. We didn't want a sushi boat. I wanted my food on my own plate and my husband wanted his food on his plate. We never did get our water or pepsi and didn't see our waiter again after he dropped the food off until we were waiting for the check. It was my husbands birthday and we swang through Arbys drive thru after we left because he was still hungry even though we dropped over $100 for two people. I added a pic of all the garnishment we paid for. Its a shame because the food we did recieve was good, but didn't entirely make up for everything else.

The service was great when we went. We went around lunch so it wasn't busy. The food was alright. I really enjoyed the fried rice and shrimp with my hibachi but wasn't a fan of the steak. I enjoyed the salad, but not the soup. It's definitely not as sweet as Nagoya's. But it's not bad on their own as well.

This place started off on a rough note but ended up leaving me satisfied. The prices here are a bit higher than competitors offering a similar experience. The service here is decent. They completely messed up my order, I wanted no cucumbers in it, it was supposed to come with rice. Got it, and it had extra cucumber, no rice, and they added ginger too which I didn't ask for. It was gross. Thankfully they made things right and let me get something else. The replacement sushi was fantastic. Some of the best I have had. So I think they redeemed themselves.

Stopped here from out of town and was happy to have stumbled upon this place. The food and service were great!

We loved everything about our experience. From the service to the food to the atmosphere - everything was top notch. We had sushi specials, sushi menu items, menu items, and hibachi - the whole gamut. Everyone was 1000% impressed.

The chef that we had was really entertaining and friendly. The food that he cooked however, was just average at best. Waaaaaaay tooooooo much butter on everything!!! If you go, I'd recommend asking them to go easy on the butter. The server was attentive as well. If this place had better chefs it would really have potential, but from my experience there it was not worth almost 50 bucks each. Not even close to be honest. I find it unlikely that I would go here again.

The place was disgusting, absolutely filthy, server was filthy, dishes were dirty silverware the same. The carpet is so so bad that my shoes & entire families shoes stuck to it.(wouldn't consider allowing them in house until throughly washed & disinfected. Same w clothing immediately off put in bag closed to go to cleaners)The area we ate in had previous silverware on the floor under table along w food, all of which when brought to the attention of server she stated they would take care of after we finished our meals & left. The cloths used to wipe our area were filthy, anymore carbonation in the sodas wasn't possible. I could not believe how filthy the place was even the glass on the door to enter let alone the bathrooms. I wouldn't recommend to anyone. They still charge the price of a restaurant w class however it has none. Seeking for a fun evening & a bit of an upscale restaurant DO NOT CHOOSE THIS PLACE!
