Great food! You should definitely try the burgers there. You will also find that the staff are very friendly but a tad bit slow. My only issue is that there are no air conditioners or fans in the restaurant. If it’s a typical Mauritian day then you are bound to feel the heat, making it a uncomfortable experience.

Since the renovation, its a nice place and the decor isn't bad. Service and staff were attentive and had good manners. The food was good but not worth the money. The cheesy quesadillas were rubbish and the fries were all store bought and not in house. Sour cream was yogurt. I would come back but only if their portions grew for the price. But otherwise, its an average experience. 3/5 stars

The food was good however the waiter by the name of Anderson incorrectly charged me for a main Greek salad when in fact I ordered a side Greek salad. When my bill came is when I noticed he charged me for a full salad inside of the side salad that I specially asked for when ordering. Instead of apologizing for his mistake he was rude,arrogant and disrespectful. I have never had this type of customer service anywhere. I paid for the full salad as my issue was not about payment but about decency he made a mistake and cheated me. What a disappointment I suggest head office in SA should look into this Anderson and the way the place is ran at caudan Mauritius supervisor was no where to be seen. Will never go there again nor recommend the place to any of our family or friends.

The food is neither great nor bad, which is kind of disappointing for the price you pay. Mocktails such as virgin mojito: I have had much better ones elsewhere for almost half the price. Food orders take a despairingly long time to be ready. Having to wait 30 minutes for something as basic as a burger and fries is nothing uncommon there. The burger itself tastes very generic: again, not bad but not great either. It has no distinctive signature the way you might find at other places. Another potential issue - though the pub itself has little control over that - is people displaying anti-social behaviour after having too many beers. Some people just can't hold their liquor. On the plus side it feels nice to enjoy a meal seated outdoors with the waterfront in full view.

Presentation was good but my expectations of a tasteful burger shattered when i bite into the stale bun. Onion rings looked like it was microwaved. Staff 10/10. Cleanliness 6/10 there was gum stuck under the table eww. Price 4/10. Pricey for such average food.
