The Fernhill has an old school charm, in saying that it has just had a fit-out and it's flash as. New toilets, new kitchen and new flooring plus the staff are tops and there are plenty of local clubs using this place as a meeting point. Hot wings, parmaganieo stuff, perfect chips also has the tab and screens in the main area for those wanting to donate to the poor million heirs.

I love the Ferny as our stop in after work for a wine down. I rated this place 5 stars as the beer is always cold, the place is always presented clean, the food is better than always expected. Thanks for supplying a charger station for my phone. Without it I would not have even been able to stop in. Cardless society these days. Well done Ferny Crew.

Fantastic little pub in the industrial area of Port Macquarie, predominantly a workers pub, it has its own little clientele after five a great happy hour and good value for money with the food. Nothing flash but good quality at a good price. The tap beer here is also fresh and cold.

Wednesday meal deal chicken schnitzel $12 each with a topper of various sorts and extra $3.50 plus buy a meal and get a free drink on the very next Saturday you return. It was the best tender chicken schnitzel and huge I've ever had. It was a big meal which also included chips and salad.

A good feed for a basic tradie pub ... always friendly

Went there on a Friday night for the Karaoke. Food was unreal the place was pretty much empty so we had free reign on the Mic. The locals that were there were mostly workers and were all decent people that had a laugh with us and sang some good songs. Everyone I was with enjoyed themselves and the staff were very friendly people. Value was amazing not may menu items over $10.

Awesome little place for a drink. My partner and I have always found it to be a nice friendly place to enjoy a drink. Food at the bistro tastes incredible and reasonably priced. Favourites from the menu include buffalo wings and steak with mushroom sauce.

Local tradie kinda place. Good beers and great food. A bonus is the Friday night pick up and drop off courtesy bus service.A good local pub

My first visit was one set with trepidation, given it’s labelled as a “workers pub.” Well, not only was there nothing to worry about, I ended up being very impressed with the whole experience - the food was fantastic, the staff were lovely, the pricing was terrific and the locals were great. Needless to say, we’ll be back!

What a great venue! I held a training night there last week, and it was fantastic. Excellent food and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

Been here twice when passing through Port both meals outstanding and I love the old beer pictures on the walls. I will be back again each time I visit Port.

Nice meals, good friendly service, the garlic prawn topper is yum, however that cheesy squeeze sauce on the loaded fries, well that was actually yuk, maybe try using the garlic prawn topper sauce on the fries instead as that would taste heaps nicer..

Not a bad place for a cold one after work. Good service, good food...only nitpick is they close up early when slow, so not guaranteed to be open past 8:30 some nights (midweek). Basically a tradie pub for after work.

Never open when they say there are on their website. Need to clarify when the bar is open. This has happened more than once. Pretty disappointed.
