Raf Jam is a beautiful paradise nestled away from the bustle of life. We stayed for a couple nights and I do not regret it one bit. The scenery evokes peace, tranquility, and quietness. I loved every minute there. The service was good, we were well taken care of when we arrived and up until we were leaving. The owner is kind and helpful. The staff was polite, engaging, and courteous. The food was good along with the complementary breakfast received. We also feasted our eyes on a beautiful waterfall and swam in the natural pools available. The water was verrryyy cold, however, but that did not deter us from enjoying the refreshing rivers. We also had hammocks to relax in and a beautiful view from our room. It was affordable and worth the time. Definitely going back soon.

Want a quiet weekend to soak up some nature? Imagine sleeping right next to the bubbling and gurgling sound of several waterfalls. Best sleep you will ever get . Birdwatching and photographic opportunities abound. The road in from red-light district in Irish Town is a little rough but I took it slow in a two wheel drive and had no issues. Well worth it.

This place is a nature lovers dream, a 4x4 vehicle is more suited to get here but it is beautiful and tranquil with a stream flowing through.

Excellent customer service! Excellent food! Excellent views! RafJam is the perfect secret getaway. Be careful on the road to get to the location, the road is a bit tricky but it’s totally worth it. (You need a van/SUV)

Beautiful property located in the hills with a river and small natural waterfall and river pool. Theres several areas to enjoy the river or have a private event. Food and rooms are pricey though.... All quoted in US.

Very very warm reception, rustic, friendly service, delicious food, serene vibe, peaceful surroundings, cold and gentle rushing river, cool misty air and greenery as far as the eye can see😊. I 10/10 would highly recommend especially for nature lovers!! Thank me later😊.

Apart from being away from civility for your time there because of the service, it was really a great experience. The rustic feeling from the rooms, the scenery, the food, the river and especially the hospitality; they were all great.

The place is absolutely stunning amd the hosts are polite and welcoming. The road is bad. You need a suv. Hike from Gordon Town to the venue was an easy stroll. Will definitely be back to dine and spend a night

Hidden place. I bet most persons in Kingston don't even know it exists. But test assured, your MV will take you yo the place, hidden in the mountains, cool. Carry insect repellant, and be ready for some river swimming .

Spent a day here with family. If you are looking for a nice uncrowded place to relax and unwind, this is it. Homestyle cooking, a nice calm river. The last 1 mile or so, the roadway is rough but other than that it's worth it.

Visited RafJam late November as an impromptu destination for a Blue Mountain camping trip which had been hindered by heavy rains and road blockages. The owner was very accomodating in allowing the grounds to be used for camping with full access to the property's facilities as required. The property is located in a little known area of Irish Town which bears a sense of remoteness even though just 35 minutes from the city. One of the major attractions of Raf Jam is a river which runs the length of the property dividing the main building from the garden and trails areas. The garden areas are semi secluded from the lodgings and further seperated by a sound barrier from the constant rushing water. Access requires skipping across small river boulders to get to the other side. There is no other way. The landform itself gently decends along the far side of the river course featuring several natural clearings of various heights and sizes offering ideal camping spots. Smaller tents can be setup on any of these flat spots depending on the space required, while the main garden area can easily accomodate a cluster of larger tents. The one caviat to anyone camping at Raf jam is that unloading/reloading your equipment will require several treks across the property between the entrance/parking area and the camp site. Each trip will require traversing the grounds and a river crossing each way with individual pieces of gear in hand. With that said, once set up, the calm cool tranquility of the hills, birds and animals makes for an idyllic escape into nature and a first class tropical camping experience. I fully encourage anyone interested in camping in a secure, private, well manitained, natural setting to consider Raf Jam. Thank you Susan for your warm hospitality and welcoming personality.

RafJam is where rustic meets luxury. The location has a waterfall, a river with different sections to enjoy, miniature hiking trails, a camping ground and is surrounded by all-round natural beauty and the ethereal sounds of nature. The rooms range from simple to exquisite, all while maintaining a feeling of being a part of nature. The photos posted online do this place no justice but that might be the direct result of guests being more attuned to the experience than they would be to snapping selfies and pictures. It truly just makes you want to just take it all in while you're there. Who cares about social media in the midst of serenity, especially when it's backed by nothing short of friendly customer service.
