👍👍 I've read some reviews and not sure what people think when they go to a little community restaurant. You shouldn't expect 5 star restaurant out of little store. The price is excellent, food is fantastic fresh. They make it right in front of you. Excellent taste and not much to pay for this quality.... People often mention Sushi, sushi, restaurant, roll, salmon, ordered, rolls,

Amazing little sushi place. I love the May roll. Will come back and quite convenient since my drawing class isn’t far from here.

I had their spicy chicken donburi special and a negitiro roll to taste the sea. Their goma ae (spinach with sesame sauce topping) was the best I've had in Vancouver. Their sauce was actually just sesame and no peanut from what I could tell. I have peanut allergies and wasn't bothered by it. I'd hiked up the hill for a lunch break and recommend ordering ahead if you are walking from near coquitlam central and have an hour for lunch. Hoy creek 18m there, 15m back.

Very quaint sushi restaurant in the middle of a residential neighborhood. The interior was very quaint and the staff were very nice. The kake udon broth was especially good, and I liked the amount of salmon provided for the two pieces of salmon nigiri that I ordered. The atmosphere is very nice, and I enjoyed the soft piano jazz that was playing in the background. Hidden gem for sure.

Great spot! The sushi is fresh and tasty and the price is very reasonable. Best of all is they aren’t as busy as other nearby sushi restaurants meaning you aren’t waiting forever for your food. I recommend this place!

The people were great, but the sushi was very so so. We ordered 8 different rolls for dinner. I have had better spicy rolls, but I prefer the slightly sweeter hot sauce at places like Sushi California or Sushi Garden. The real issue I had with all of the sushi was that the rice was still warm enough that the rolls would fall apart when picking them up. This happened a few months ago as well, the last time I ordered from here, so I don't think it was a one off. Unfortunately, I think I will have to take another break from this place.

Amazing service!!! I was directed here by my landlords and it’s a great spot! Fresh and loved my brown rice combination. They really take care of their customers and the taste is exquisite. I will be back for more!

Great staff! Amazing music and the rice was fresh and warm. Not too sticky but not too mushy. My friend also said it was amazing

I looooove Sushi Boss!! They are so incredibly kind when I call in for a pickup order, and their kindness follows through in person as well. I love their spicy salmon roll, the salmon takes so fresh and they even packed a gyoza in with the wasabi and ginger! Definitely recommend this place.

Have ordered take-out from this place a few times and not sure if I will again. Last time we ordered a party tray as well as various other rolls, and they were made very sloppy, and fell apart very easily making it difficult to eat. There was too much rice per roll, and it was overcooked as well. The taste was fine though. Anytime I've had cooked chicken (Chicken don, chicken teri roll), the chicken has been quite tough and dry.

Their veggie gyoza is the best gyoza I've ever had. My fiance and I have been going here since they opened, and they are the kindest people I've ever met in the service industry.

We love Sushi Boss. We also like the little extras that they come up with every bow and then. Sushi is tasty and the price is really fair.

Such a cute little spot. Food was good and decently priced. The miso was really rich and kinda' smoky. Will eat here again!

We absolutely love Sushi boss. It’s the little hidden gem in the plateau. The owners are extremely kind and always mindful of my daughter’s sesame allergy!! The food is fresh and extremely delicious!!

This premise primarily caters for take-out orders with one small table for dining in. We dined in and enjoyed every dish ordered to the last bite: miso soup, edamame, pork gyoza, shrimp and calamari tempura, beef udon, spicy tuna and salmon rolls, California roll, unagi don and salmon sashimi. Dishes are very reasonably priced. So glad we chose this place to have dinner tonight.

Super lovely family run place. Sushi is consistently great and pick up is easy. Restaurant itself is small and cozy.

The restaurant was pretty small and the restaurant is pretty far from anywhere when we came we didn’t even notice the restaurant because it was so small but the sushi was very yummy 🤤
