Ela Beach Hotel & Apartments is one of the best in Port Moresby but it is quite expensive.However,they have big family apartments and big self contained rooms for sleeping and extra big rooms for meeting and conference hosting..they also have a nice pool at the centre of the hotel.The food is very delicious. They have all foods and drinks menu..the environment is clean and looks very healthy and the place is guarded and it is safe for people to go and atleast feel the comfortableness of Ela Beach Hotel &Apartments..

Even before I receive my food order, the experience has been somewhat unfriendly

1. Customer service is poor. 2. When I arrived at the hotel to check in, I had to wait a long time (30 minutes) before being given my room card. 3. I entered my room and noticed that it had not been cleaned up after the previous occupant had left. 4. The hotel staff could have given me another room. But they had to clean up the current room for me, so I had to wait another 30 minutes.

Apartment was very spacious however the WIFI was non-existent. Friendly staff however the standard quarantine food was terrible. Food was like a kai bar (rice/chips with fried chicken/fish) the cake slice was the size of a matchbox!

As part of quarantine requirements, I stayed here for 14 days. The package comes with an upgraded wifi. Please dont believe them, its a gimmick. The wifi is the slowest I ever encountered in a 4-star hotel. I have raised the issue a few times with the hotel, but to no avail from them. Forgot to mention, the food was absolute rubbish.

Food poisoning is consistent with this establishment for YEARS! I am not sure why.... its not everytime, but you are bound to get sick!! Also watch out for your drinks. Hair in my coffee which I sent back. Never going back to eat again. Yesterday was my last time.

I've heard horror stories about EBH & A, The first test was laundry, Unlike other hotels, the didnt offer a set time period for same day service so I was surprised when my laundry was delivered two and the half hours later, pressed and folded👍👍 Next was room service - Very prompt. The breakfast was a bit wanting, the cereals didn't do it for me 👍 Recommended food to try: PNG STYLE Chocolate 3 ways, absolutely perfect...You should try it. Gave it a four star for the breakfast lack of choices.

Food is great. They have a new Filipina chef that we met. Food serving at really big taste is superb. They have very delicious pastries at their bakery and meals although a bit high end is excellent. Love thw butter chicken.

Very good location, unfortunately the restaurant staff are hopeless and the staff are generally not welcoming. The food quality is low compared to it's price as well.

Part of a.major hotel group although it has probably been on of the quieter hotels in the Coral Seas group it has always been a pleasant well run property with a "cult" following of guests. Until recently the dining room had been sub leased and was very popular. I have yet try the new set up although I have heard it us reasomanle

Hotel services in hospital is not that quick in response to and getting things done, and the food is expensive but not good like pumpkin soup is not taste good.

I attended a one week program at the Ela Beach Hotel Conference Room. The meal serving was late all throughout, the dessert was left uncovered over the balcony that birds flew in and started eating before the meeting participants came out for lunch/tea. There was no F&B staff attending to the meal service or at least to check to service the empty chafing dish. I had to go down to the restaurant to follow up. When I went out to ask for assistance from staff at the restaurant downstairs, I was met unpleasant approach. The staff were not as helpful nor friendly. I do wish the management improve this area as customer service is paramount in this industry. Ela Beach Hotel used to have such great service, I do hope this can be improved.
