Terrible service. I made an appointment on Monday to see Dr Agebigo and was told 4pm Thursday. I arrived at 3.30pm and was told to take a seat that Dr was not in yet and would be advised. At 4pm checked again at reception and told to wait. Checked again at 4.30 pm and was asked to pay. If i did not constantly enquire i would be still sitting at reception until forever. I had to constantly ask where to go and what to do. Staff just seem to walk up and down and ignore patients. The attitude of the sister in room 17 was also rude and totally unhelpful.

Long waiting times - yes. But you can't have them all. Towers in terms of treatment and infrastructure quality over every nearest option. Good but some of the doctors are overseas based and incurs alot of cost plus patients wait for 10 working days for getting the results. Some of the overseas based services are not reliable enough. Meaning that the results can't be made available on estimated time. It usually delays most of the time although the cost will be met in full. Not good enough to serve the needs of the growing population with increased demand.

Possibly the only private medical service in PNG or I have encountered that you pay consultation fees first before actually seeing a Doctor.

4yrs before i worked PIH well equipped and excellent service for patients and very comfortable for employees

To cut stories short: Had to travel down from inland bush rigo on a 3 weeks consultation for my son's Cleft Surgical proceedings and this what I have discovered... 1. The proceedings were unprofessional. 2. Can you image a mobile touch used to examined my son. 3. Our file weren't recorded on database after 1st consultation 4. I never received any calls for my son's referral updates as promised. 5. We left without our billing change given to us. It was just a waist of my money. I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone.

The medical facility is good. The Dr are kind and knowledgeable. The process to get treatment or meet the doctor is way to long and beyond normal. The hospital management need to seriously look at improving the time take to wait. The reception need to improve. The waiting area needs to have more space between the patients. There should be more counter for payment. Separate counter for in patient medicines. A full study has to be conducted and the Hospital need to improve the patient experience.

Excellent service especially women health services. Had someone attend to patients in que so waiting line was not long.

I just wonder if any issue with nurse salary late payment they work so hard and nice with people

Poor Service 👎 Did an X-Ray and couldn't get the printed copy of it due to shortage of printing ink? I was told to get an image of the X-ray on their computer using my private phone.

PIH has the facilities to help each patient regardless of their needs.
