😠 Front desk staff needs to do a better job of communication with patients. Was told I was “all set” to come in for my appointment. That was not the case and they gave me the wrong information about my insurance coverage, no humanity for people who have government assisted healthcare. I was rejected... Front desk staff needs to do a better job of communication with patients. Was told I was “all set” to come in for my appointment. That was not the case and they gave me the wrong information about my insurance coverage, no humanity for people who have government assisted healthcare. I was rejected my appointment without further investigation into my insurance plan. When will hospital staff do better?

This practice never answers the phone. The wait time is a minimum of 30+ minutes. I waited yesterday for 1 hour and 6 mins to cancel an appointment before someone hung up on me. I called back but the office went to lunch. I have screen shots if there is a manager at this establishment that wants to see? I have asked for the manger's information several times. I even had the after hours service send a note. Also, Dr Lemester implies my minor child is crazy instead of actually putting in some work. Labs do not lie!!! I get my child symptoms are above his expertise. With that said, his fine as a gate keeper! Definitely get Medicaid treatment here. Y'all know what I mean!

Don't come here. If you have any other options, go elsewhere. I came 2 years ago with the same symptoms and didn't get a diagnosis until a couple months ago because I was judged and blown off completely. Now that I have a diagnosis (that could probably be loads better by now if I were sent out for the proper labs and imaging years ago), I'm having to do more waiting for no reason. The "patient services" lady over all of Halifax doesn't care either. She's condescending & pretends the phone isn't working when she doesn't want to talk to you. They have an issue with people trying to take care of themselves & finding their own specialists and solutions and doing the research on these people... If this is such an issue then maybe they should listen and take patients seriously the first time so the patients don't have to fend for themselves.

Priscilla is the best. She doesn't rush & addresses all of my concerns. She listens & is very compassionate. The office needs work. Takes forever to get someone on the phone & they don't offer urgent sick visits. Was told the next appointment was 3 weeks or so out when asked for something sooner since I was in pain (not enough to go to the er) I was told no. Also, you have to stay on them about referrals. For the most part the staff have all been nice. Priscilla ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Staff⭐⭐⭐ Office ⭐

Unprofessional, and lack of care. Got to my appointment only to be told Dr had a family emergency yesterday and they “tried” to call me, however no email, or secure message was sent. But they didn’t mind texting me to ask if I could come in at an earlier time last week. Makes absolutely no sense. Also the office manager is rude with a horrible demeanor, and zero patient care skills. I’m a former medical professional myself, and that’s not how you treat patients. No empathy whatsoever, and speaks down on people. Please do not go here if you are pregnant. I will not be returning.

Dr. Negron is the best. She attentive and has an excellent bedside manner. She truly care about what's going on in your life. Mark, her medical assistant is also great. I've never had any issues with the staff either.
