It's closed. No access. It's a construction site, with no way to walk to the pier & the penguins.

It closed for Construction. Will reopen on mid 2024.

All of the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! Would definitely come again

Closed don't let the website opening hours fool you. They don't let you in due to covid. But nobody update their website. You can see they thru the gate if you are lucky.

Come to St. Kilda breakwater to see the colony of Little Penguins. Arrive here roughly 20 minutes after sunset (or later) to see them socialising with other penguins and hopping from rock to rock. Make sure you walk all the way out past the kiosk to reach the breakwater!

Remember to not touch them 😁

Very disappointing - it was closed off .

Waited for an hour to see fairy penguins on st kilda pier. There ws toneq of people and not much happened. I probably saw 7 in total and if your not close you won’t see them.

Just wished the penguins would cater for little kids and come an hour before sunset. Loved it.

Fantastic! No matter what price of ticket you purchase you'll see the penguins on the beach and much closer on the boardwalk later!
