For a start i watched the lady who served me put old chips back into the deep-fry to reheated them back up before handing them to me... Make matters worse Got home to find the cheeseburgers looked like they have been butterd with Vegemite... ......Take your money else where......

I just wanted to respond to cara green about wanting to borrow the toilet. I don’t know what year you think this is but it’s 2022 and theirs covid around. So you expect the owners to let a random stranger use their toilet, not knowing if you have covid or anything else for that matter and then have to scrub the toilet and anything else you might’ve touched along the way. They don’t know you - you could get out the back and pull a knife or gun on them. They don’t owe you anything and I don’t see anywhere on their shop frontage that says public toilet available for use by random strangers. Also from what I hear, you were rude about the whole incident. Maybe using your manners might get you further in life. Nea, Tony and family run a brilliant little business that rarely gets any bad feedback so for you to leave poor feedback because you couldn’t leave your germs everywhere - RUDE, very rude. Totally recommend terrace chicken bar any night of the week!!!

As a take away chicken n chips shop this place ticks nearly all the boxes, and if it was not for one bad experience I would be probably be rating it four stars. They have a large selection of good quality fresh salads as well as the usual take away fare including, chicken, chips, burgers, hot dogs, schnitzel and plenty more. They do combination packs and 'meal deals' and the service is generally efficient and with a smile. It is probably not the cheapest take away in town but I, and many other locals I speak to, have always found the quality of a reasonable standard. It is one of the few take aways in town that does a veggie burger, but be careful if you order a veggie burger with 'the lot'. I did that once and discovered on biting into it that 'the lot' included bacon. Not sure of the logic behind putting bacon on a veggie burger, but that is what happened, so be careful if you are a vegetarian and that is what you order ('the lot' also includes egg, but that is pretty standardin SA, even on veg burgers). Other than that this is one of the better take away joints in town. Certainly not the cheapest though.

Fast and friendly service. My hot chips were perfectly seasoned and tasted great.

Great quick takeaway food. Fish and Chips are really nice and the schnitzel is great. Good variety of salads. They deliver in Port Pirie which is very handy.

Two days I paid about $16 to $18 for a pack with a quarter of chicken (drumstick) and 3 salads (potato, Cheese & carrot, curry rice) and a tub of gravy. Go straight home to eat itand I only live a minute away. Every tasted discusting ans stale. Chicken as a weird brown greyish colour and mushy. Salads were NOT fresh and the curry rice was very sweet and I coul not eat it. I WILL NOT BE GOING THERE AGAIN.

So much for country hospitality all I wanted was a hot dog and tomorrow the toilet why I had my lunch and they wouldn’t allow me access

Brought a hot dog with the lot after a long day at work and it was disgusting.. burned bun gross cheep onion's fake cheese and way over priced very disappointed for the price of almost 10$ won't be getting one again and possibly won't be going back .. Service was fine but took few mins as thay was super busy

Used to be a very good loyal customer. No longer will be going here. I three to four times, I've received chips and fish that are terrible. I suspect the change of hands may be why.

Ordered 2 egg and bacon rolls took more than 30 minutes to get them only then by asking were they were got home they were cold had to reheat, was shocked at the price ( to much for what I got , be a surprise if I ever go back .

Great service, fantastic, yummy food

Great service, always friendly staff and never a long wait. Can phone ahead order, which is great and saves again on waiting time. Food is what you would expect from a takeaway shop but is always fresh, looks good and taste delicious - no matter what you order. Added bonus is that they do home deliver, which is I use quite a bit and once again from order to delivery is a very quick turn around.

Just had the most delicious schnitzel combo and parmigiana with three salads, all fresh and tasty. Super friendly service and gravies to die for. Very filling Very yummy Thanks well be back 5 star

Forgot Gravy on 2/3 chicken schnitzel packs with gravy??? Didn't answer phones despite not being overtly busy. Chips undercooked.

Firstly rang over a handful of times to order and no answer. Went in and ordered and it was absolutely disgusting, wouldn't even feed it to my dog. Was over cooked, cooked in dirty oil, no salt/lemon or tartare sauce. Soggy and disgusting. Not to mention was charged $8 extra than advertised price. Will not be a returning customer.

Love the chips here and the salad, the chickens cooked perfectly every time. Definitely worth eating from here. I can't say I am fan of the nee pricing, I understand there's a potato shortage but not selling the xl chips is confusing. You'll let me pay more for 2 medium bags which give me less but I can't buy a xl bag. It's not gonna stop me buying them but it has made me look at a few other take away places to see what's on offer.

Lovely staff, Good quality perfectly cooked chips just not many for $10 unfortunately,and I miss the original tomato pasta salad the new one is not great.

Been coming here since I was little, everytime I visit Pirie to see family we always drop by. Reasonable price and great good everytime!

It was lovely. Veggie burger is really good . Beef burger was lovely. Love this place. If you come to port Pirie- give it a try …

Worst meal ever. Had to wait over 1 hour for delivery, food was cold and very sparse. Won't be going back.

Lovely Ladies and great customer service, but I won’t be buying from here again, the last two times I have ordered I have had to wait for our meals for over an hour and both times the meals were dead cold, since the change of owners it just hasn’t been the same.
