So I called today to see if I could walk in the ER since my son tested posite for COVID and they ignorant employee there said “so what everyone is positive “ I said WHAT? I’m not COVID positive are you?. She then asks what do I want. I said I want to know if my son would get medicine to feel better and she said No if you bring him he will be discharged without medicine! So after I heard her attitude and asked her for her name she hesitated and I asked again and she hung up on me!!! The nerve of the hospital to have careless people working there. POS that’s what she is!!

I arrived at my appointed time of 8:00AM EST. My check-in was smooth, I had used the online check-in feature on My Chart. Within 5 minutes a nurse came and got me took me to my room and began the process of gathering my information and taking my vitals. I was very pleased with my doctor Berlie Placide as she took the time to listen to the reason as to why I was there...spoke with me about my concerns and made recommendations and gave poignant suggestions regarding my care. All in all a pleasant visit from an my provider....a welcomed change from prior not so pleasant experience.

Was told my bill would be $250 when I left and then received a bill in the mail for over $600. Called and.they said sorry nothing we can do. Update: I received another bill for the Dr services. He literally came in for 5 minutes to tell us the results of a test. Over $800 for a 3 hour visit in which the vast majority of time we were waiting. Thank God for insurance because the total without it was $5000 for that quick visit. Ridiculous.

I walked in with my 3 yo who was having trouble breathing because he could not stop coughing despite a breathing treatment at home. No one greeted us. No one asked what we were there for. This was on 5/6/22 (I hope you’ll check who was working the front desk). I reached for a mask for myself and 3 yo, since it is policy. Only then did a young man ask me if I would prefer a child size mask. He told me to come around and began taking vitals on my son. The girl at the desk never uttered a word to us. After vitals he says, have a seat we will be with you when a room is available. In the meantime my son is coughing incessantly. People in the waiting room are commenting and concerned. There are about 8 people waiting to be seen. No one gives me a time estimate. No one else appears in distress. As a parent, I was panicked for my kid who is choking on his coughs and I’ve told you he’s been this way for an hour. His oxygen was at a 93, probably not terrible but he was visibly struggling. I ended up leaving and taking him to Lawnwood in Fort Pierce where we were immediately greeted. The first question asked was, “who needs to see a doctor ma’am you or your son?” At other ER’s I have been asked, “do you need to see a doctor” at cleaveland clinics er, nothing. The girl there at 6pm didn’t greet us, acknowledge us, no one let me know how long it would be or expressed concern. In a world of COVID fears, people in the waiting room were obviously concerned about his uncontrollable coughing. Cleveland clinic dropped the ball. I will never go here and again. I’ll head straight to Lawnwood next time I have an emergency.

I haven't read through all the reviews here but my experience seems to contradict the average. I've been to many emergency rooms. I would argue that my medical record rivals Tim the Tool Mans... This was my first visit to this ER. The staff from the people checking me in, to the billing staff, to the nurses, to the doctors were the nicest and most helpful people I have ever encountered in an emergency room. Every one of them seemed to genuinely care. I really couldn't have asked for more. ***update*** I got a collections bill in the mail 2 days before I got the bill from the hospital. What are y'all doing over there? Sending bills to collections before you send to the patient?? How does this make any sense? Especially since my insurance paid before me or collections got the bill. I'm honestly baffled. I'm not removing any stars though. I said what I said.

I had a brief and pleasant (for being an emergency) visit to the ER today. I waited maybe 15 minutes before getting back to a room. Once there, all the nurses were quick, efficient, and SO SWEET! Everyone I dealt with was very helpful (except maybe the doctor who was quite brief lol but he was busy with other patients so I get it). The rest of the staff were top freaking notch! I got blood work and a CT scan, all of which took maybe 3 hours before leaving. Without all the kindness in there, it would have been a bleek experience. But those nurses made it much sweeter for me. Thank you Cleveland Clinic ER nurses!!! You are appreciated.

Took my son here while he is sick with COVID, had to get his appendix checked. Everyone was super nice until Dr. Porsha Roache-Robinson came in. She immediately started talking about how big my 4 year old was in front of him and would not stop. Made him get up and jump (while sick with COVID and running a high fever) and further continued to tell me that I needed to do more work on him because he wasn't jumping to her standards. Not that I need to justify but he's lost 20lbs in 6 months and we're actively working with an endocrinologist who is very proud of him and how far he has come. She even attempted to say that my other child must be big too. Very unprofessional and won't be coming back to this facility as I've had sooo many issues . I can deal with them being rude to me several times but I draw the line at my children. Lesson learned. Imagine if this was being said in front of a child who knew what she was saying . This office location and Dr Robinson needs to do better.

Horrible experience If I could give it a 0 I would. I’ve never ever had an issue here until yesterday I told the doctor I wanted an extra test ran with my son and he wouldn’t listen to me . So I finally yelled to get it done. as a mother instinct I knew something else could be it. He said fine your son can die. I am in shock. Who says something like that. I will never come back

I was a patient at Florida Heart Dr. Rao. for 2 years and have nothing bad to say, Dr. was great, all staff were fantastic. In fact I moved and had to have all my records sent to new doctor for knee replacement surgery, the Doctors nurse was so nice and sent records quickly, Thank You .

The worst hospital ever, I have been there twice once in the Stuart location and another in st Lucia West location and in both times they take you in and don't bother running alot of tests for you, but instead they come to fast conclusions, and in both times they refused to give you medicine for more than five days and tell you to go see your primary doctor, well, how long do they think that it will be before you can get an appointment with any doctor or specialist????? What they do is that they refuse to give you medicine for more than five days so you won't and can't see a doctor in five days and this way they force you to go back to the emergency room so they can make more money. The most inhumane treatment in the world. Today is the sixth day after the emergency room visit and still have not gotten better and I ran out of the anti inflammatory medication and at the same time it's Thanksgiving and there are no near time available appointments with any doctor not even for a referral.

My visit today was horrible. The front desk receptionist, Mike did not represent the hospital in a positive manner. As I arrived. He informed me that my grandchild, who is an infant was in the process of being discharged. I asked if I could go down in the process. He asked me to have a seat and denied me access to go back with my daughter, who is only 23 years old. Although the state classify an adult at 18 years old. Any thing could have happened to my daughter and grandchild. I know the job of the perpetrator was in the statement he used. The attitude, tune and behavior did no stand up to the demeanor and the status St. Lucie Medical Center. I am truly dissatisfied and disappointed. I want to come again to the hospital. However, if this behavior is continued, we will have to patronize another facility from how on. As this employee did not represent you company at all.

Terrible experience. Night shift. Front desk rude as first point of contact. Had to call an ambulance from another station while at this ER. This place needs a little more professionalism, less attitude. People go in sick not to see which nurse or staff member has the toughest attitude with the patients. Never going back.

April 2022: This place let me go knowing I had an infection in my blood. My GP caught it and gave me antibiotics. It was the reason my seizures were increasing. July 3 2022 Doctor Porsha Robinson My 4 yo grandson went here, positive for covid, under the advice from his pediatrician. It was too check his appendix. Results came back, everything was fine Thank goodness. So in comes Dr Robinson. Very passive aggressive and rude from the start. Immediately starts on my grandsons weight. This woman tells him, while running a fever, to jump. Then gets irritated at him when he doesn't listen to her and stop after 1 time. She then starts drilling into my SIL about how they probably just feed him processed food and junk food and how he needs to "get ahold of this man". Meanwhile, this woman is extremely overweight herself. She has no idea what they go thru. Never asked or checked any of his info. He has a endocrine, a neuro, a nutritionalist, a psych and I could go on. BTW he is not overweight and they are the best parents a kid could ask for. Fresh fruit and veggies, and a strict diet for him. Avoid this place. Thank God he didn't get what this woman was saying. I can imagine they have been reported to the ADA more than once, this will be another one.

My daughter had a hoverboard accident. The woman at the desk did not seem very urgent with getting us in. Luckily a woman who was ahead of us let her go ahead seeing how much pain she was in. Once we got back the nurses were great ! All of them were very caring and moved so quickly! Our nurse who was like an angel and works great with children had a hard name to pronounce I think it was Yudieth. She was absolutely amazing! She even cleaned my daughters cuts and scraps on her knee and foot and bandaged those up as well even though we were there for her wrist. She was just so caring and went above and beyond. Thank you nurses !! You guys are doing great here !!

My 91 yr old mother went here seriously ill and was sent home. The next day she was sent back by her doctor and admitted to the hospital with Covid. They admitted they only tested her for Covid because they didn't know what else to look for. She had GI complaints, diarrhea, severe weakness. Since 20% of Covid patients have GI symptoms you would have expected an emergency facility to be aware of that. She has not been mentally the same and is in a nrsg home. Oh what could have been?!!!

The wait was ridiculous and trying to reach someone to get a copy of my film is even more ridiculous. I have been transferred to numerous departments no one answers the phone. I gave up and physically went there to make the request. Hopefully I never need this place again.

Posting on behalf of my entire family, Cleveland Clinic in Pt St Lucie has been a godsend. In the past year they have literally saved my brother's life TWICE. The Cleveland Clinic found the colon cancer that everyone else missed. When his chemotherapy sent his blood sugar skyrocketing, it was the CC that administered emergency insulin and got him back to normal, quickly. Now, after months of extreme abdominal pain, and again, missed diagnosis by other physicians, it was the CC that diagnosed peritonitis and sent him to the hospital immediately. He is finally out of pain and begun healing. I can't say enough about the quality of care and competency of the staff. Absolutely the best! You've given my brother his life back! Again, on behalf of my entire family, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

I have been trying to make an appointment for longer than 2 week with no success. Dr Amanda the APRN is great but you can't get appointment in this office unless you have been seen by the Doctor who has no appointment until 8months to a year. You can't get appointments directly with the office. You get transferred so many time and at the end Nothing gets done. Now we have to keep looking for a new Doctor office 🤦‍♀️

It really was a pleasant experience. You can tell they do these procedures all day but they still make sure each person is cared for and comfortable. They were personable and made me less nervous. Thank you to the staff for making a scary procedure easy and comfortable.

Came in for bad head pain upon breathing. The doctor ordered a cat scan and had me take a pregnancy test. That’s it. No blood work, no swabbing, no other urine tests and no other examination. Sent me home with meds that did nothing for me. Incompetent doctors

I had a fall and went to your location to set me arm. You should be ashamed of your clinic. Two young people were left alone, unsupervised to place the cast. It was so badly done my fingers turned. Colors, it was so tight. It had bumps that dug into my hand. It caused sever pain. I am lucky I didn't loose my fingers.

Do not go here please they want to kill people not heal them. Doctor did not do the proper exams on My child yelled at me for asking to please do a ct scan told me “ If I wanted my child to have cancer he will do it” after yelling at me he finally did the cat scan. Well it turns out my child did have a stone in the appendix. Had it not been for me he would have sent my child home with no care. I called to complained and the two customer service were super rude and hung up on me. Obviously they knew what happened and were trying to cover up for the doctor. This is not a clinic this place is not safe

I believe her name is Judy ( Lab department) is so kind, gentle and caring. I get grossed out by needles and she was beyond reassuring that it’ll be fine, was extremely comforting , extremely gentle and she even held my hand. Thank you for making my experience welcoming and making me feel safe .

👍👍 Dr. Leycegui has been my primary care physician for the past seven years and I could not be happier with his services. If you are looking for a doctor who will take the time to listen to you, not rush through your appointment, and genuinely cares about your wellbeing then he is the doctor for you.
