Cool pier with awesome views. They charge two dollars for non residents. There is always people fishing which is pretty cool. And there is a few brown pelicans that hang out on the pier.

Great Place to Spend the Day. Great place to enjoy the morning or Afternoon fishing or just watching fisherman do their work! Beautiful scenario of Deerfield Beach. Locals have to Pay 1,00 USD to enter. Tourists have to Pay 2,00 USD to enter. You can get a wristband to have multiple entries during the same day. The daily pass to Fish cost 4,00 USD. There are Benches to rest and Sinks to clean the fishes.

I love ❤️ coming by the pier. There is plenty of action from the local fishermen in the area, the end of the pier is pretty busy. Seating is a bit limited towards the end but the have a covered portion of the bridge which helps with sun or rain. The entry is $1, but only one time… if you go out, you have to pay to go back in. From this spot you can watch the sunset, beach weddings, you name it. The area is pretty lively and always buzzing with people. You can always get a nice bite at the Deerfield Beach Cafe right at the beginning of the pier. We love this area!!

Great for a walk and fishing too. Plenty of smaller fish getting caught. One guy hooked a shark, I think. Had to cut it free. $4.00 to fish, $2.00 for non Deerfield residents to Walk. Great view, nice breeze, close to resturants and beach swimming.

Went here for a day of bait fishing with friends. We got lucky and had a beautiful day ahead of us, with barely any clouds after sunrise. The water was so blue and clear, we were able to see all the fish swimming around. We even saw a ray, 3 sea turtles, and a few barracudas. We also caught a bunch of bait as well with the squid we bought from the receptionist! There were also a lot of boats near us, but security was on top of it. The other fishermen near us were kind and respectful. The only con is that parking near the dock is way too little. We arrived at 5:30am, 30min before the dock opened, but it started to fill up around 6:00am. Be warned, otherwise you pay for parking at the garage.

This is a late review. I visited the Deerfield Beach International Fishing Pier on 01-14-2022. This is a beautiful pier and the water was very clear.

I will never ever visit deerfield beach. My first time fishing experience is horrible. I parked my car in a regular lot and paid 2 hours of parking. Then I went to the pier and paid there again parking for 5 hours. The official at the pier told me that today you parked at the regular beach parking but next time park at the pier parking. He did not told me to move the car right away. Based on the official assurance I kept my car there. The official also made a mistake and put a wrong license plate. End result, parking cop gave me a citation since he could not find my plate. I showed him the ticket for 5 hours parking and the cop admitted his mistake, and told me to call the city office next morning. I called and the official was not nice and he thought I was telling lies after lies. I told him I live 60 miles away and explained everything, still he disbelieved me. He gave me another persons name and I call them countless times to settle the matter. Even today I called them and left them a voice mail. Never heard from them. No way around I paid $30 at the last minutes. The officials talked like I made a crime and have to pay for it. If I did I have no excuses, but I paid $30 for something which I did not commit, Very sad experience and moreover they charged $2 extra on the top of $30, why we should pay this. This was my first time fishing, how do I know there are two different parkings, and it end up in such sadly! Also, I saw a girl that night also complaining about a mistake. No idea how many people had a bad experience in this city's beach. Driving for more than 8 year, never had any ticket, always a responsible person and a driver. Paying $30 for something I did not commit is like robbing! I shared my story just o alert others! So sad!

This is my favorite pier, it's much quieter than the one in Pompano. Unfortunately the last hurricane damaged the final part of the pier. Here I go fishing often

I love spending time with my kids in this place. They love to fish and we always have fun. In this holiday season is a great option for the whole family, in the pier it is possible to find benches to sit, as well as faucet with water in several points. If you do not have fishing equipment you can buy it right at the entrance of the pier, as well as baits and sunscreen. It is good to go with a hat or take a umbrella, you must bring water to drink.

The view is wonderful from the pier, but you have to pay $2 to get in ($1 if you're a local resident). It's mostly for fishing, but there are some benches if you want to have a seat and enjoy the view.

Beautiful pier. Still has damage from a previous hurricane on the end section which is not accessible to public. Charge is $2/person for all day for non Deerfield Beach residents.

We spent a few weeks here, one of our favorite places in Florida. During the day, you can hang out in the quiet part of the beach and relax, or you can go to the other side of the peer where the volleyball nets are and you get all the action. At night, you can sit by the beach and just look at the spectacular moon reflection in the ocean, or you can check out some of the many restaurants and pubs right by the beach.

One of my absolute favorite beaches and piers in all of South Florida. Very inexpensive to go fishing at the pier or just sightseeing. The beach is never too packed (unless it’s a holiday). Plenty of parking nearby and restaurants to grab a quick bite. Definitely recommend over the other “touristy” spots like Ft. Lauderdale or South Beach.

Deerfield Beach, another of my favorite beaches until yesterday, too many people, nowhere to park... I couldn't believe there were so many people!!! Did any migration happen without us noticing? I have never seen so many people on this beach. I can no longer recommend it, you will not find parking.

It is one of the best beaches in Florida. They have entrance charge at the pier of 1 dollar. If you like fishing you can spend hours here. Come in early spend time under sun and do some skinny dipping. Take bath and head to any of the restaurants near the beach. Here you get tons of options to eat at. Ocean 234 is one of the popular option.

Clean sand and, a pier to walk on, $2 entry. Parking is easy to find. Granular sand, watch out for the washed up jelly fish.

Deerfield Beach has a beautiful fishing pier. For a very reasonable cost, you can walk all the way out to the end and get a great view of the beach. It's also fascinating to converse briefly with the fisherman who congregate here. It's a special place to watch the sunrise!

Nice pier and it’s newly re-constructed. But pay to walk ! Is a little much in my opinion. I know it’s only $2 or $1pp for residents but the walking should be free. Still a nice pier on a great beach. If your looking for fishing I’ve seen and caught great finds.

Beautiful spot you have to pay to have access to the pier and there are also rules like no rolling coolers cast nets we went to see if we could catch some fish nothing was bitting that day except the pelican

Deerfield De Janeiro Pier is definitely a place to walk around safely with family, friends, and pets. This beach is absolutely gorgeous and it has people from all ages and walks of life. Places to eat food, ice cream, pizza, etc… the little board walk is such a relaxing place to either walk or simply sit down to clear your mind in the presence of nature and amazing people. If you are visiting Florida, do not skip the City of Deerfield Beach or else you will regret it. Happy 2024!!!

This is a large scam. Charges you $2 to enter and walk the small pier. 2/5/2021 is when I paid and and walked it. The end that is harold for good views and scenery was blocked off by a gate. Got to the gate and there's about 100 feet to the end and the rail at the end is broken and gone, looks like it hasn't been even a thought to be fixed any time soon. The view is nice with the cool wind blowing in your hair. All the benches face south and the rail is set at eye level so you'll not be seeing much while sitting. The ticket lady isn't friendly and not a word about how the bridge is blocked off. As a visitor park and pay ($1 per hour) and chill at the beach and view the bridge for free.

This is a great spot and has lots of great options for food, drinks and shopping. While this may be a small area, it has an awesome night life. They have a little upscale down to the home town hole in the wall. The beaches are pristine and always a great spot to catch a beautiful sunrise.

Gorgeous beach & pier. To fish on the pier is $1 for Deerfield residents & $2 for visitors. A fisherman got bit by a pelican today. There are fabulous restaurants that look out on the pier - Oceans 234, JB's, Patio Bar, Deerfield Beach Cafe & Chanson's. There is a small boardwalk & volleyball nets too. Paid parking along the beach. Very crowded on weekends.

No water to clean fishing rod, toilet was not clean and no liquid soap available to wash hand. Not recommended specifically for fishing.

  • 3/5 DANIEL L. 3 years ago on Google
Nice place to visit. Great local fisherman to talk to. You have to pay to spectate on tge pier on a per hour bases. So pay for parking for your vehicle and pay to spectate on the pier. The reason for my low rating is that the lady collecting the money on the pier would not let me leave the pier to put more money in the vehicle parking meter without repaying to reenter the pier.

Deerfield beach is truly a fun filled , relaxing place to spend the day or weekend. There are very good restaurants, with a variety of different food and atmosphere . The beach life is lovely and relaxing. Collect pretty seashells depending on the time of year , take a walk at sunset , kayaking and paddle boarding are favorites. Fly a kite at sunset . Having dinner at J B ‘s. Overlooking the beach is relaxing and fun. Bicycling is also an option too. Have fun. Cheers
