Now Wilko is gone, HB has become our main place for basics, always a good choice and prices are usually cheaper than supermarkets. Plenty of parking what's not to like .

I do not appreciate the way the older staff members treat their younger employees, I was shopping in home bargains in port Talbot ( shopping Center) today 17/07/2023 , and I was waiting in the line to check out my items when an older looking employee with a slight Irish accent started shouting loudly at a poor young employee, the young one stated politely that there were customers behind them and the other staff member carried on shouting , I do not think the older looking staff member was trained properly enough for working in retail , do not recommend!!!!

Plenty of different stock from medicine to dog accessories, smellies to alcohol.

Nice big shop with a bit of everything in. Worth a visit

Your typical home bargains store, it was alright!

Spotlessly clean store , merchandise is well displayed, and it seem that only few of each item are stocked on shelves , you get a good and varied selection of products . The aisle are generous , allowing easy flow of shoppers , trolleys , buggy's mobility aids , etc ..Staff are friendly and helpful .Only reducing my stars by 1 , as several items within my shopping were cheaper in several other stores .

Always manage to get what I want . Most places the staff are happy and very helpful, but Port Talbot they huff when asked for information and the till staff are ignorant. They talk to other till staff when you are being served, hardly ever make eye contact with you and do not like it if you make them give you change.

Mix of items at reasonable prices, parking nearby. Covid rules in place are excellent. No need for COVID restrictions anymore. Christmas stock in also great for bath salts and pharmacist. Quick at the till getting served. Friendly staff.
