Comfortable
beds
and
friendly
staff
with
convenient
location
made
this
a
good
base
for
a
weekend
stay.
The
room
was
clean
(a
few
spots
missed
in
the
bathroom)
a
good
size
and
well
equipped.
However,
windows
were
filthy
and
the
decor
is
decidedly
dated!
Furnishings
and
fixtures
are
good
quality
but
showing
signs
of
wear
and
tear.
Seagull
nest
on
the
flat
roof
outside
-
they
had
no
respect
for
my
need
of
a
lie
in
on
Sunday
morning!!
(
I
know
it’s
not
the
hotel
fault
but
hopefully
they
may
take
steps
to
deter
future
nesting
in
that
area?)
We
ate
an
evening
meal
in
the
restaurant
and
the
food
was
very
good
-
fresh
salads,
tasty
meal
with
good
quality
ingredients
and
reasonably
priced,
staff
were
accommodating
and
friendly.
I
again
have
issues
with
the
decor-
dated
and
so
many
different
patterns,
colours
and
styles
clash
in
the
public
areas!
Maybe
styled
by
Laurence
Llewelyn
Bowman
back
in
the
80’s?!!!
We
had
repeated
problems
with
the
key
cards
not
working
to
get
back
into
our
rooms
and
were
told
that
keeping
them
near
a
mobile
phone
wipes
them
(if
that’s
the
case,
maybe
issue
that
information
on
check
in?)
However
staff
sorted
the
issue
quickly
and
cheerfully
each
time.
Parking
was
plentiful
and
the
proximity
to
the
beautiful
beach
was
lovely.
There
are
nice
restaurants
and
cafes
nearby
and
it’s
an
easy
10
minute
drive
into
Swansea.
Recommended
as
it
was
good
value
for
the
price
-
comfortable
and
pretty
clean,
nice
welcoming
staff.
