My family have been going to this hotel for many years. It's been great to see the transformation of the hotel over recent years. Food in the restaurant and lobby lounge is very good, staff are attentive and the renovations are very tasteful. Upstairs the balcony bar has been a great asset and perfect place to watch the football with a pint or meet with friends. I recently attended a tipsy tea party and was very pleasantly surprised at how lovely it was, more food than expected and the hot foods that came along with it made it all the more tasty. A big thank you to the owners for injecting some life back into the hotel, we will of course be back!

We went for a meal at lunchtime on Sunday (we didn't stay at the hotel). The restaurant was much more upmarket than I expected and had a good atmosphere and ambience. The service was very good. The food was delicious and very well presented. Would definitely recommend and revisit. Parking was easy.

Nice hotel with a good restaurant. We stayed overnight and had two problems. First, the bed was rock hard, meaning neither of us slept at all. Left with two very sore backs. Secondly, we asked for 2 extra pillows. "There are two pillows per person" we were told by reception with a tone of "is that not enough?". "Can we get another two?" The reply was "I'll see whats available" and we didn't hear another word about them. Poor customer service from reception...

We're just home from a family dinner at the Seagoe , an experience I won't be repeating .After waiting 1 full hour for our first course (we had to remind them ) I was served something vauguely related to the ribeye steak I'd ordered .It was bland ,tastless and instantly forgetable. My partner and grandaughter did in fairness enjoy their chicken goujons , but they were chicken goujons after all .The manager did give us complimentary drinks and deserts and was extremely apologetic , but , a special family evening out was completely spoiled .I honestly can't remember a worse meal .

Can only comment on the restaurant having spent a few hours with friends celebrating a birthday. Lovely dinning experience in a comfortable setting, food was of great quality and not overly expensive. Not rushed in any way by staff keen to get home at the end of our evening and very courteous and helpful throughout. Very nice layout in the hotel foyer and bar area, hope to be back again soon.

We booked afternoon tea for our friends’ birthday. Lisa took the booking and she was extremely helpful and welcoming. Afternoon tea was delicious and we were very well looked after by a lovely young man working behind the bar and a lovely lady who supplied us with boxes to take home what we had left. A really lovely experience. Thank you Seagoe Hotel in Portadown.

Rooms are very comfortable (from what I've been told as I have not stayed myself). The hotel looks very well decorated and has a lovely cafe/bar area. The cafe food items (breakfast) are limited and a little pricey but good quality. Service is always good.

A truly lovely experience. The hotel is beautiful. Decor is fresh and warm. The staff are so friendly and nice, special shout out to Katie our server in the restaurant and to the lovely night porter who we had a great chat with The food was beautiful. We had a wonderful evening dining experience. Highly recommend the Salmon, the beef and the Christmas pudding!!! Breakfast was cooked to order from a great menu including avocado on sourdough bread.

Visited the Seagoe Hotel to try their 'new' Italian restaurant, as recommended by the receptionist. Waiter was friendly. I ordered chicken carbonara and my partner ordered chicken caesar salad with a side. I received my food and the remaining food arrived 25 minutes later. I had to ask the waiter twice if our food was ready. Not impressed. Very poor management between two kitchens in a relatively small hotel. We did not stay.

Lovely for a night’s stay in the Craigavon area (although it’s been a few years since we stayed here). The bar has a nice atmosphere and the menu is lovely. Very fast service too.

First class service. Very enjoyable meal. Not overpriced considering it's a hotel. Very helpful staff. Highly recommended

Beds need to be double or king not 2 singles pushed together. Other than that we had a great stay. Amazing food. Staff were lovely.

Commenting only on the restaurant... The Seagoe is a fantastic spot to go for lunch and have good Gluten Free accommodations. It can be busy at times, and staff may take a little longer to get to taking your order, but it's worth it when the food arrives!

Stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions and as usual it was very good standard. Quick easy check in and room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast as usual was excellent and the upstairs terrace bar is a lovely place to enjoy a beverage or two.

We recently celebrated at the Seagoe, and can't recommend the staff and the venue enough. From meeting with Adam, the wedding coordinator, before choosing the Seagoe, his infectious enhthusiasm from the first moment let us know we were in good hands. Through booking, to planning, to the big day itself, we were looked after at every turn; and it definitely made planning a wedding so much less stressful The venue on the day was absolutely stunning, as commented upon by our guests; and the food and service were all absolutely unreal. Would highly recommend, and can't thank all of the staff enough.

Stayed at the hotel Friday night while attending the abba show with friends from work. The show was fantastic, the food exceptional and all the staff were lovely and professional and went out of their way to help me. The room was excellent very comfortable and clean 👌 Breakfast was delicious and again fantastic professional staff.

The main issue was the bar service is so slow! Standing for near 20 mins waiting is crazy. Food was nice but when you can’t get a drink with it 👎🏻

What makes this hotel fantastic is the awesome staff. The most helpful, pleasant, courteous staff that I have run into anywhere at a hotel in the entire world. The stay was great; my son held his wedding there and it couldn't have been more perfect. The staff at most American hotels could use a page out of your playbook.

Large Hotel with ample vehicle parking spaces. Impressive foyer with comfortable lounge seating. Softly lit bars and dining areas. Luxurious beds but slight stour issue on headboards. Big function room for wedding receptions sadly a little tarnished by "less than white and soiled" ceiling drapes. Staff commendably polite and helpful. Average prices for four star accomodation.

Was at my uncles 80th birthday last week for lunch. The service was excellent and the food perfect. We were in dining room opening out onto courtyard and it was lovely to go out between courses and enjoy the beautiful day. It was a lovely relaxed dinner with a vast choice to choose from. Lovely to see Laura and Helen again

My family and I have been frequenting this hotel for over 20 yrs and it holds such precious memories for us! I wanted to take time out to say a huge thank you to you all! The food is always so delicious and of the highest quality. We so look forward to bringing our mother here on Sundays for lunch! I would like to especially say a big hello to Derek who is always so welcoming and Geraldine for her wonderful service and efficiency! We really enjoy chatting to her and she always makes us feel we’re the only guests in the hotel! Geraldine you are a ⭐️! Sinead Bogues and The Mc Govern clan x

You need a guide to find your room, the place is a maze, without signs. One of our rooms was blazing hot, but easily changed cor another room. The required bond was a surprise, but that might have something to do with next sentence? The place was packed with very drunken elderly ladies (Saturday night), which was very funny - coctail night I guess. Breakfast was not a feast (grilled tomatoes were served cold).

My daughters wedding reception took place here a few days ago & I would highly recommend the Seagoe to any future brides. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and accommodating and the bedroom was spacious, modern & very clean.

Clean (very important to me!!) and tidy with pleasant, amiable staffing.... food was good if a bit small on the portion size for the money but quality nonetheless...... a bit disappointed on the keg beer selection despite trying a couple, not to my tastes but a good experience overall... would I recommend?? Certainly and would stay next time in the area

Really beautiful hotel, when you are inside you could be in Dublin, London or anywhere in the world. great food and really relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The coffee dock is so relaxing and always made feel really welcome and treated so well by the staff, especially Geraldine. We also held our wedding here years ago and everything was top-notch! would highly recommend.

Lovely place for meetings with friends or colleagues. Tasty food and beautiful home made scones. WiFi very good too. Didn't spend any nights there so cannot review the rooms!

A Massive THANK YOU too all the staff at the Seagoe Hotel for helping make mine and Matthews wedding day so special. The decor, the food all the attention to detail was amazing. An even bigger thank you to our wedding planners Caroline and Paul! Especially paul who went above and beyond for us all on the day!! It wouldn't have been the same without him! A* service from start to finish. He really is a credit to the Hotel! The entire day was just as we imagined it would be and more. We are all so grateful! All our love from Mr and Mrs Wicklow xx

Everything a little disappointing for the amount of money spent.... firstly I had a family room booked for 2 adults and 2 kids, got to the room and a double bed for us and 1 bed for kids, no information sheet in the room to contact reception so phoned from my mobile, to be fair quite apologic and someone was sent with a camp bed with half the springs missing on it, but our youngest made do....feed at night was all right but not great for the cash it cost..... breakfast was from 8am to 11am on a Sunday...we were in the dining room for 10.30am....pure orange empty, bread basket empty and had to ask twice before they were replenished but cooked breakfast was good....all in all not bad but could and should have been much better for the money paid.....but very clean and well presented.....

Enjoyed my stay. A business trip so didn't get to enjoy or explore everything. The hotel is really nice, with delicious food. I think that they may have been understaffed, as service was a little slow at times. My room was nice and spacious and the bed very comfortable. I found the lack of an aircon a negative as I found it very warm in the room, despite turning the heaters off. I only realised that the heaters were on after my first night🤣🤣🤣.

Great hotel. I was booked into here when visiting a supplier on Business. The staff were, without exception, lovely. Check in was cordial, the restaurant excellent and the rooms both "roomy", comfortable and clean. I had lunch, dinner and breakfast and all were very good. I'd stay here again without hesitation.
