Very expensive, average food and if the staff smiled their faces would crack. Not a great experience. Wont be back.

Tiplers is the best family place you can get. Great atmosphere, lovely staff who have mostly all been there for years. A real family feel about the place. The food is delicious and also some of the best value in town. This restaurant also serves as a bar on the evenings and weekends and it's very popular with locals. There is plenty of parking on site. There is an off-licence attached to the venue.

Relaxing atmosphere, very friendly staff, food was stunning, Sirloin steak cooked to perfection. Really highly recommended for a relaxing family meal. Kids menu was fantastic. Good value for money. Dessert was beaut.

I visited here to pick up a couple of last minute Christmas gifts. Clean and tidy with plenty of welcoming, attentive staff. Was surprised at just how much of a range of wines there was. Best range of alcohol for miles around! Promotional displays were well thought out. Would definitely recommend.

Very comfy, warm, friendly, clean pub. I went there following a friend's recommendation. I was not disappointed. Staff was friendly, the food was really tasty, the atmosphere was good and relaxed (Thursday evening). Will definitely go back with friends or family.

Food can be hit or miss, with temperature or portions but on most of the occasions I have eaten here it was been a good experience. Would recommend.

Great food and service pla e looks amazing

Nice place for a good family time. Music isnt too loud. The food is served piping hot which adds to the taste and it came within few minutes of ordering. I'd certainly go to this place once again for a lovely evening.

I would consider tipplers my local so im probably biased but its serves good food has a great bar ive never had any problems with the staff there also dog friendly which for me is awsome

Very health conscious and clean. We always are looked after by the staff who treat each customer with respect and care. I would rank them as first class in the field of pubs!

Great selection and also a perfect draft partner. £5 per keg return. They'll even chill the kegs for you if you call ahead.

Friendly staff, clean and tidy. A good selection of beers to go with the pub/steakhouse grub. I tried the steak burger which was fine and enjoyed a rather nice apple and caramel cake for dessert. Not life changing but I'd happily eat there again

JD Tipler as always 5 service and cuisine. The menu is well planned out with amazing food to cater for every need. As a family this is always our restaurant of choice. The staff are always welcoming and eager to please. I myself can highly recommend the chicken goujons with sweet chilli dip and champ. My husband loves the array of food and swaps between steak sandwiches, burgers, fish and chips, garlic fries etc everything is just mouth watering and the portions are always suitable for those of us who enjoy our food 😋 😉. My son loves his dinner and has had I think everything on the child's menu and is always unsure what he wants as he loves everything. The desserts are heavenly and regardless as to how full we are we just can't help but treat ourselves. These coupled with the many choices of coffees and teas certainly are the perfect end to any meal.
