This state park is a hidden gem. I spent 2 days here hiking and camping. I reserved one of the Streamside Walk-in Tent Sites and couldn't have been more pleased. The site was right on the bank of the stream, fell asleep listening to the water flow by. Also, hiked a couple of the trails in the park which were very nice. This park is nearly completely surrounded by the Elk State Forest, if you cross 155 from the campground you can hike the Sizerville Nature Trail up to an overlook of the town of Sizerville. There are also plenty of picnic tables and pavilions as well as a pool near the park office. The staff here is also very friendly. Loved my visit!

Campground is so small & intimate (only 23 sites) but a little of something for everyone...from tenting to 40' motorhome. Sweet little amphitheater next to creek and plenty of trails (i.e. Campground Trail, Sizerville Nature Trail, etc.) reachable on foot from any campsite. Playground in middle of campground and pool with lifeguards near park entrance & office about a mile walk on level pavement. Entire campground pet friendly, but pick up dogHAIR, too, if yours prone to shedding like my German Shepherd.

Beautiful park with plenty of pavilions, picnic tables, a stream, a public pool and the nicest park rangers we've run into in our journey thus far: Alyson and Jeb. They not only helped us line up the rest of our park trip for the day but they took the time to highlight a route on a map for us. Made it even easier, and safer, to see all the parks and forests in PA! PA State Park Passport Stickers are beside the door of the park office, located across the road from the pool.

Wonderful state park. A hidden gem in the already outstanding state parks of Pennsylvania Trails, stream, camping, overlook, nature center and a pool! The staff were just excellent and took their time helping you discover the beauty of this park. The. Only negative is that the trails, especially the overlook path could be better marked.

Very nice camp sites. Shame it's so close to the highway.

This is a cute little park with most of the activities around the pool area. Near the pool are picnic tables, an education center, the park office, a play area, and pavilions. The park says there are 100 picnic tables in the park. Up campground road are 28 campsites that are right off route 155, which can be noisy. There are several areas for fishing, the Cowley Run in the park, and branches of the Sinnemahoning Creek nearby. There's also 5 miles of hiking trails. Winter activities include snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. There is hunting in the season. For events at this park visit: events dcnr pa For more information: pa parks and forests (diamond)

This is a sweet little park with comfortable camping, a beautiful day use area, a pool, and a delightful nature education program. Allison, the educator, came around to every campsite with an animal skull which she invited us to identify and then shared lots of info about. There is a choice of easy and difficult trails to hike. It's one of the most well- maintained parks I've ever camped in. The ONLY reason it doesn't get a 5 is that it is right smack dab on a truck route, and the traffic noise detracted from an otherwise enjoyable experience in beautiful natural surroundings.

Beautiful park. So peaceful. We came back 2 days in a row because the kids loved it. I would definitely return again and possibly stay at the campgrounds.

Camping nearby and with no showers. The State Park has facilities to do so. Clean and no one else was using the building at the time we were. Just $4 each and much appreciated. Beautiful park. Wish we had more time to enjoy the pool.

We had a great time with family and friends. Had some rain a few days. Got a little sun at the pool and ice cream. I see they sell camp t-shirts at the concession stand with Sizzerville on them. Great idea. Went to watch car races in the mud on Sizer rd in Emporium.

The pool is our favorite! The snacks they serve make it the best place for a day swimming. If that isn't enough, the park is beautiful. Hiking and cooking out are the best at Sizerville!
