A
real
pity,
we
liked
the
accommodation
(we
stayed
at
Casa
Dom
Manoel,
which
is
also
run
by
this
couple
from
the
Estalagem,
just
opposite)
the
room
was
not
bad,
as
was
the
bathroom,
we
found
the
breakfast
to
be
quite
acceptable
and
the
friendly
staff
(especially
all
woman).
We
stayed
on
April
15.
The
problem
comes
here:
during
the
check
out
they
charged
us
again
the
amount
of
the
accommodation
when
it
had
already
been
charged
previously,
that
is,
staying
here
cost
us
twice
as
much.
When
we
were
loading
the
car
about
to
leave,
the
woman
came
out
to
tell
us
that
if
we
were
charged
twice,
we
should
contact
them
and
they
would
refund
us.
The
odyssey
began
from
this
moment,
when
a
few
days
later
I
verified
in
my
bank
account
that
the
amount
had
been
charged
again.
I
wrote
an
email
to
the
establishment,
which
they
did
not
see
because
it
went
directly
to
their
spam
folder.
Days
later
I
decide
to
call
them
by
phone
(with
the
consequent
cost
of
an
international
call),
and
the
man
answered
me.
I
explained
who
I
was
and
the
problem,
he
told
me
to
send
him
my
bank
account
number
and
they
would
reimburse
me.
I
told
him
to
please
check
his
spam
folder
because
my
emails
were
getting
there.
Within
2
minutes
of
hanging
up
I
had
already
sent
that
new
email
with
my
account
number.
Well,
the
days
passed
and
no
transfer
came
to
my
account.
After
almost
a
week
I
call
again
(again)
and
the
man
answers
me
again.
I
remind
him
who
I
am
and
he
answers
that
the
next
day
they
will
make
the
transfer.
Again
the
days
passed
and
nothing
at
all,
so
I
decided
to
contact
booking
so
that
they
could
solve
the
problem
for
me.
I
had
to
provide
them
with
different
documents
that
showed
that
the
charge
was
double,
and
finally
they
told
me
that
they
had
already
contacted
the
hotel
and
that
they
would
reimburse
me
(this
happened
on
May
15,
a
month
later).
I
warned
them
to
be
careful,
that
the
hotel
was
lying
to
me,
saying
that
they
would
refund
the
charge,
but
then
they
didn't.
They
told
me
that
the
transfer
would
arrive
between
8
and
10
days
approximately.
And
nothing
came
to
me
either,
so
I
contacted
booking
again
and
they
told
me
that
it
could
take
longer
than
that
(?)
that
it
could
even
be
extended
for
a
month.
The
fact
is
that
we
reached
June
15
and
still
nothing.
Already
somewhat
fed
up
and
desperate,
I
tried
to
contact
my
bank
to
see
if
they
could
help
me,
but
it
was
useless.
I
called
the
Estalagem
for
the
third
time
and
this
time
the
woman
answered
me,
who
told
me
that
she
did
not
remember
who
I
was,
but
that
I
should
send
all
the
information
to
the
mail
(dates,
amount
charged,
etc.).
That
same
afternoon
I
sent
him
an
email
with
everything,
even
attaching
the
documents
provided
to
booking,
all
computerized
and
explained.
They
never
replied
to
that
email.
I
contacted
booking
again
to
restart
the
refund
process,
I
had
to
provide
even
more
documentation
this
time.
I
warned
them
again
that
from
the
hotel
they
were
lying
and
to
please
take
the
matter
seriously:
I
was
lucky,
and
finally
on
July
10
(almost
3
months
later
and
after
a
lot
of
fighting)
I
received
the
refund
in
my
account.
I
honestly
did
not
expect
this
from
them,
they
were
so
friendly
when
we
were
staying
there
and
having
breakfast
at
the
Estalagem.
I
got
the
feeling
that
they
were
trying
to
ignore
the
situation
so
that
I
would
get
desperate
and
finally
give
up,
keeping
that
amount
for
themselves.
Otherwise
I
refuse
to
believe
that
it
is
so
difficult
to
make
a
simple
transfer,
having
all
the
necessary
data
and
information
on
a
tray.
My
recommendation
is
that
you
be
very
careful
when
they
charge
you,
and
don't
even
think
about
paying
this
in
advance
as
they
can
charge
you
again
during
check
out
as
happened
to
me
and
then
it
is
almost
impossible
to
recover
that
money.
(Original)
Una
verdadera
lástima,
el
alojamiento
nos
gustó
(estuvimos
en
Casa
Dom
Manoel,
que
también
lo
lleva
este
matrimonio
del
Estalagem,
justo
enfrente)
la
habitación
no
estaba
mal,
así
como
el
baño,
el
desayuno
nos
pareció
bastante
aceptable
y
el
personal
amable
(sobre
todo
la
mujer).
Nos
alojamos
el
día
15
de
abril.
El
problema
viene
aquí:
durante
el
check
out
nos
volvieron
a
cobrar
el
importe
del
alojamiento
cuando
este
ya
estaba
cobrado
previamente,
es
decir
alojarnos
aquí
nos
costó
el
doble.
Cuando
estábamos
cargando
el
coche
a
punto
de
irnos,
la
mujer
salió
afuera
para
avisarnos
de
que
si
nos
aparecía
cobrado
dos
veces,
contactásemos
con
ellos
y
que
nos
lo
reembolsaban.
La
odisea
empezó
a
partir
de
este
momento,
cuando
a
los
pocos
días
comprobé
en
mi
cuenta
del
banco
que
nos
habían
vuelto
a
cargar
el
importe.
Escribí
un
correo
electrónico
al
establecimiento,
que
no
llegaron
a
ver
porque
les
llegó
directamente
a
su
carpeta
de
spam.
Días
después
decido
llamarlos
por
teléfono
(con
el
consiguiente
coste
de
una
llamada
internacional),
y
me
atendió
el
señor.
Le
expliqué
quien
era
yo
y
el
problema,
me
dijo
que
le
enviase
mi
número
de
cuenta
bancaria
y
que
me
lo
reembolsaban.
Le
dije
que
por
favor
revisase
su
carpeta
de
spam
porque
mis
correos
estaban
llegando
allí.
A
los
2
minutos
de
haber
colgado
yo
ya
había
enviado
ese
nuevo
correo
con
mi
número
de
cuenta.
Pues
bien,
pasaron
los
días
y
no
llegaba
a
mi
cuenta
ninguna
transferencia.
Pasada
casi
una
semana
vuelvo
a
llamar
(otra
vez)
y
de
nuevo
me
atiende
el
señor.
Le
recuerdo
quien
soy
y
me
contesta
que
al
día
siguiente
ya
me
hacen
la
transferencia.
De
nuevo
pasaron
los
días
y
nada
de
nada,
así
que
decidí
contactar
con
booking
para
que
ellos
me
solucionasen
el
problema.
Tuve
que
aportarles
distintos
documentos
que
demostraban
que
el
cobro
era
doble,
y
por
fin
me
contestaron
que
ya
habían
contactado
con
el
hotel
y
que
me
harían
el
reembolso
(esto
sucedió
el
15
de
mayo,
un
mes
después).
Yo
les
advertí
que
tuviesen
cuidado,
que
en
el
hotel
me
estaban
mintiendo,
diciendo
que
sí
me
reembolsarían
el
cargo
pero
luego
no
lo
hacían.
Me
contestaron
que
la
transferencia
me
llegaría
entre
8
y
10
días
aproximadamente.
Y
tampoco
me
llegó
nada,
así
que
volví
a
contactar
con
booking
y
me
dicen
que
puede
llevar
más
tiempo
que
ese
(?)
que
incluso
se
podía
extender
un
mes.
El
caso
es
que
llegamos
al
15
de
junio
y
aún
nada.
Ya
un
tanto
harto
y
desesperado,
intenté
contactar
con
mi
banco
a
ver
si
ellos
podían
ayudarme,
pero
resultó
inútil.
Volví
a
llamar
por
tercera
vez
al
Estalagem
y
esta
vez
me
atendió
la
mujer,
que
me
comentaba
que
no
recordaba
quien
era
yo,
pero
que
le
enviase
al
correo
toda
la
información
(fechas,
importe
cobrado,
etc.).
Le
envié
esa
misma
tarde
un
correo
con
todo,
adjuntando
incluso
los
documentos
aportados
a
booking,
todo
informatizado
y
explicado.
Nunca
me
contestaron
a
ese
correo.
Volví
a
contactar
con
booking
para
reiniciar
el
proceso
de
reembolso,
tuve
que
aportar
aún
más
documentación
esta
vez.
Les
volví
a
advertir
que
desde
el
hotel
estaban
mintiendo
y
que
por
favor
se
tomasen
el
tema
en
serio:
hubo
suerte,
y
por
fin
el
día
10
de
julio
(casi
3
meses
después
y
de
mucho
pelear)
recibí
en
mi
cuenta
el
reembolso.
Sinceramente
no
me
esperaba
esto
de
ellos,
que
resultaron
tan
amables
cuando
estuvimos
alojados
allí
y
desayunando
en
el
Estalagem.
Me
dio
la
sensación
de
que
estaban
intentando
ignorar
la
situación
para
que
yo
me
desesperase
y
finalmente
desistiese,
quedándose
ellos
ese
importe.
De
otro
modo
me
niego
a
creer
que
sea
tan
difícil
realizar
una
simple
transferencia,
teniendo
todos
los
datos
e
información
necesaria
en
bandeja.
Mi
recomendación
es
que
tengáis
mucho
cuidado
cuando
os
realicen
el
cobro,
y
ni
se
os
ocurra
pagar
esto
por
adelantado
ya
que
pueden
volver
a
cobraros
durante
el
check
out
como
me
ocurrió
a
mí
y
luego
es
casi
imposible
recuperar
ese
dinero.
