They forgot to mention there would be a wait time due to prom however there was no one from prom attended at the time and they even cleaned tables infront of us before taking our order, the food was poorly made, and they were acting rude on us for complaining about the poor service.

We've went here once every few years and have had the same experience! Unfriendly hostess, bad waitresses and bad management. We sat down to order right when we got there and multiple people that ordered after us got their food and left after an hour of us being there. And we hadn't even received our order. We never got our drink refilled! It ruined our whole night! I hope that corporate see this and fires the whole staff because they were all playing around in the kitchen, including the manager!

If you’re want to wait severest hours for your foo, this is the place to go. Not only you’ll wait like you’re in line like for a rollercoaster at six flags, the service is really terrible service as well. Not really friendly more ‘ignoring’ customers vibes.

We had a great experience tonight. Our food was good, the girls treated us so nice and were all attentive and came to check on us and the other tables..Tammy, Larissa, Stephanie, Iasia. TY ladies, you're the reason we come back!🤗

We waited at least 20 minutes after our food was ordered for it to be brought to us cold. My husband went to the counter and told a young women our food was cold she said she would let her know. We waited for another 5 min. And decided that enough was enough. My husband started out the door and I went to the counter. The young women he spoke to immediately got rude and said he said to just warm it up. She then said I didn’t have to give her attitude, I hadn’t even said anything she then proceeded to get even ruder. She then told me so your not going to pay for it, never once did she apologize for our food being cold she just said we have 5 minutes to serve u once the order comes up. She said again your not going to pay. I told her not now I’m not and walked out. My order wasn’t even correct and I did eat the side salad which I would have been happy to pay for, but after her complete unprofessional manner, not a chance. She wasn’t even my server and she never told our server about our food being cold. I’m going to call and talk to the general manager in the morning. My husband and I eat there at least 3x a week and have never been treated so terrible.

I love this Denny’s. Staff was very friendly, and attentive, professional, quick and efficient for our group. Food was amazing and my husband said the best steak he had on our whole trip was at the Denny’s in Porterville.

The best Dennys I've been to. Only been to this location twice & on our 3rd visit, our waitress remembered what I wanted & what my husband had to drink. Wish I could remember her name (ironically I don't ha). Anyways, always clean & fresh hot food, & they're so friendly there, our new fav Dennys 100%

It's been awhile since I've gone to Denny's Food was good And our server waitress was Wonderful She Stephanie was courteous and gave in to all our wishes. Our party guest tip well .. Thanks Stephanie

The experience was absolutely awful. To begin with, we never got an actual server until 40 minutes later. We hadn’t even put in an order yet so at this point we are just waiting to even put an order in. We wouldn’t have minded the wait if they simply had just told us, like “hey, we are busy right now but we will get to you as soon as we can.” It wouldn’t have wasted much time SIMPLY telling us that. We also didn’t start getting our refills after some gentlemen got it for us at 40 minutes. At least the food was good to make up for it right? No, the sandwiches were stiff as if they had been sitting there, the cooked/steamed veggies were cold, the ham on the brisk-it-all i understand was supposed burnt on the ends, but it was wayyy too burnt cuz it just look like one of us was eating coal. The mashed potatoes looked and tasted weird. Afterwards, one of my members got sick and had to puke a few times. Then when I wanted to complain, the waiter seemed bother that I had told him that I was not happy with our food nor the wait. Then when the manager came out, she had an attitude and didn’t hear my entire complain out. She tried saying, it’s prom night it’s going to be busy, I found it funny because literally no one else in that time frame which we were in, were kids of prom age. It was mostly adults and families of which maybe at most were two large parties, and there were also about maybe 5 other parties besides me and my brother and friends. I believe it should’ve been manageable with proper management. They seemed to care more about sitting people down than actually serving them. The lady which I was complaining too cut me off and just discounted me $8 which I feel like didn’t really make up for food, the uninformed wait time, lack of checking in with us, and her attitude. I’ve never complained in my life to a diner but it was bad enough I had to learn yesterday.

We really like this Denny's. Very clean and excellent service. The food was excellent as usual.

Ordered a BLT which tasted pretty good but I had to remove the heavily processed ham which tasted more like baloney than any ham I've ever tasted.

Had the lumberjack breakfast. Lol he must be one tiny lumberjack because the food portions were so small. I had to order one more egg, which they charged me 3.67 for then it was cut in half. The price was way to high for what little breakfast I was served. Never again going back. 🤮🤢

Service was good until having to pay my bill. My wife and I are elderly and I presented my aarp card when paying. It was denied and I did not receive discount. Very disappointed and returning is questionable. Please observe what is advertised on the website of Porterville Dennys that aarp cards are accepted. Many of us elderlies are on budgets. Thank you.

I went to dinner with my family and our server was the sweetest young lady ever, she was so attentive! Offered us refills and even checked up on us during her break. Her name was Ashley she was a blonde short girl.

I had the beef brisket with the onion rings in the macaroni and cheese skillet. It was pretty good but there was a total of maybe 20 macaroni noodles on my plate Maybe 15. The waitress did not want to be there.

I ordered a sandwich met like ribey or steak dont remember either way it did not look like the pic and the bread was black. I guss the waitress went home or quit but she never came to table after she brought the food untile she brought the ranch we got with the food at the end but she didn't get any drinks or check up on us or anything. If I brought out burnt food I definitely would of at least got them something to wash it down with.

Amber did an amazing job, my order was perfect and she has amazing customer service.

Amazing service the food was great I would definitely recommend for late night go’s. Definitely leave a nice tip if you are dining late at night.

Amazing overall service! You gotta try their famous Cali Club sandwich on your next visit. Just look at the size of that thing..
