The staff saved our reunion by allowing our big group to come in without a reservation and having such a great attitude. They kept the food and drinks coming quickly, they were friendly and efficient and they were able to keep all of our tabs straight. The food was flavorful, hot, and brought out promptly. Overall, they did an amazing job.

Mainly ordered take out from here, but it's steadily been getting worse each time. The first few orders after Amazon Prime started doing restaurants here were great. A bit over a year later and most food isn't edible. Noodles are over-seasoned, basically a soup. Portions are easily 1/2 as big for delivery than in restaurant. Meats are gritty, lacking in quantity, or most recently a mix of proteins I didn't even order. They obviously know how to make good food. It was at least on par with other similarly priced Thai restaurants in town. Something has changed since then though. I hope they can get back to how they were, especially since they're the only super late night Thai around.

Ordered buy one get one chicken Pad Thai on Uber Eats from here. They took over an hour to make my food. The Pad Thai was missing chicken, cilantro, lime juice, peanuts, and chili. They didn’t have an option for spice level when I ordered. This Pad Thai was horrible!

The posted hours are not correct. They are open for only pickup and carry out after 10pm. My wife and I stood outside at 10:15pm tonight feeling pretty damn dumb about our choice to plan dinner here after a show at Rev Hall.

Was next door doing Orientation for a local company and was referred here, glad I came in. Picked up some Tom Ka Soup, super delicious, full bodied, lots of flavor and I ordered it with chicken. Ambiance was great the young person who helped me was fabulous, I will definitely refer this place to people in the future. Thank you Management and staff. My soup was the bomb, thanks again.

So glad you guys said you were open on Christmas till 9:30. I literally worked all day, my car had a dead battery so I had to call someone to come get a jump because no one was nice enough simply stop and help me even though it was christmas, and I was just looking forward to that food at the end of the day and then when I got there you were closed. It's already kind of a rip off because you only get about half the serving size that you would at a regular Thai restaurant especially when you're just ordering noodles for $10 but I couldn't even get that at the end of a long day so I'm actually pretty pissed cuz that's all I had going for my stupid Christmas. Last time I ordered from there and I got my food I was like where is the other container with the rest of my food? But no that was it . Normally I wouldn't have even bothered if it wasn't the only place that said it was open . Not sure why you wouldn't change your hours and say you were open on Christmas but that basically ruined my day cuz it was the only thing I had to look forward to because my life sucks. Thank you guys. I included a photo of what I have to eat now.

I find it funny how this review wont allow me to post pictures. I'll post them on youtube then. Do not recommend this to anyone with kids... I've ordered from this restaurant multiple times and every single time it comes out wrong.. and to my surprise, nothing can be done.. They cook your food the way they please, not how you ordered it. Soggy rice, over seasoned and if you look at my receipt, it says pork as the protein and yet again I get a different item.... I'm started to realize why some ask if the servers can read properly since nothing has ever come out right for me... I spend roughly 50 to close to 100 on food for my kids, and this is how back business appreciates their customers.. this place does not have your best interests, rather they just want your money.

Not the very best Thai food but it’s good for the most part. Semi bland in my opinion. 4 star review!

I honestly really liked this restaurant but after my late night experience here I don’t think I will return.. I placed an around about 1:30am - I live right around the corner from this establishment so after about 25 minutes of my order not being confirmed ready, I decided to show up and see what was up. It was about 2AM and there were a group of people waiting, no big deal - One of the employees asked my name for my order and told me right away they never received it. But my order was accepted and said it was “being prepared as we speak” for at least 2 hours.. the employee told me I need to cancel the order in the app and replace it again so they could make it. But I was already charged for the first order and couldn’t receive any refund until the restaurant approves the refund themselves but kept stating they couldn’t find the order and never received a payment. I had contacted yelp and told me there was nothing they could do until the restaurant approved the refund themselves. Not to mention everybody working here was under the influence.. The owner was passed out in the driver seat of his own vehicle.. The main cook kept going on about how drunk he was .. just the whole thing made me so uncomfortable.. My order is still currently pending and “being prepared as we speak.” It’s almost 4am - I obviously don’t want my food anymore :( I just want my money back.. I’m broke and just wanted some food..

Where do I start. Being an owner of Papa Lees Kitchen I know how important reviews are. First review I've given since covid. If you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all. So we ordered take out for the game Monday night. Customer service on phone and when i arrived to pick up very knowledgeable and respectful. Order came out on time. Got home food was still nice and hot due to their quality containers. Flavor awesome, portions awesome. Scoval level medium just like we asked. Over all experience will be back and will recommend. This whole staff thank you for the delicious dinner. It made up for the horrible blowout college championship lol. Finally found a Thai restaurant that doesn't cut corners. Freshness is in all their dishes. Thank you from me and my roommate!!

When it comes to taste and quality of food, its sadly underwhelming. The curry was too spicy (we ordered mild) and very salty. so much so, there was no taste to it. Vegetables where thrown in curry from a bag or something, half cooked, not simmered in the sauce. Noodles where dry and lacking flavor. Tai tea was just an intensely sweet colored water. Seriously... you need to step up and actually start cooking.

I ordered lunch catering for 10 people, some with dietary constraints (gluten free, vegan) on a limited budget. Sunee Thai and Lao Kitchen was able to meet those requirements, and everyone left the lunch table with full bellies and happy faces. Payment and delivery was efficient and easy. Communication with Sam was excellent.

Ordered delivery to my hotel and the food was surprisingly really really good. The chicken pad Thai I had was super delicious and saucy. ( that’s rare ) I also ordered a bunch of side orders and they didn’t disappoint. For fast THAI food this is a good spot.

This has become my go to spot for late night food. As a night uber driver, it's so hard to find food that isn't fast food. Once I found out Sunee is open until 4am, I was sold. Then I had their food and found out how delicious and fresh it is, it's been my weekly spot to get late night dinner. It's also in a location I feel very safe to get out of my car, and even sit down and have a few bites on their picnic benches.

We tried to place an order around 1245 am and had a bit of a hard time ordering online. Depending on which app or service it would say it's closed. We were parked next to it so we knew they were serving people at their pick up window. I finally managed to make an order through Google's service. I got a confirmation email but the order was in pending mode forever. Finally we decided to go to the window to see and they didn't get it til right when we asked. They were great, apologized and gave us a free can of Thai Tea and two shrimp rolls. It was very nice of them. We waited for our food in the car as we ate our free appetizes and went to my friend's place to eat. I got yellow curry and although it tasted delicious I was disappointed in two things. The first is the potato. They were cut so huge that they weren't really cooked enough. They were bulky and hard. Please cut them smaller if youre not going to pre cook them? My second issue is that I don't think they have regular thai sticky rice for the curry. Only dessert, the mango sticky rice. So I got what I think was really cheap short grain or a bland jasmine. It doesn't go as well as Thai Sticky Rice and the quality of the rice is poor. That probably doesn't bother most people but the potato is a bit annoying. Overall, I would still go again. They were nice and the flavor was good. We love the convenience of the late hours for yummy food. We were evening and night shifters. Thank you!!!

Ordered a curry from here that had a giant potato cut into six pieces in it, with very few other vegetables / meat included (I'm sure because the potato took up so much space). Taking out the large potato pieces, still crunchy / flavorless due to their size, basically halved the curry amount. The curry itself was just okay. Disappointing as usually Portland Thai food is hard to beat.

Had Pad Kee Mao with beef. Food was pretty good (meat was a little tough and larger than a comfortable bite size). Like the heat level (3). Loved the noodles. Okay amount of vegetables. Bell peppers still had crunch. Liked the spice level, too. Good service - attentive without being intrusive.

We ordered delivery to our hotel. We had salad rolls, chicken wings, potstickers, tom kha, and green curry shrimp. It was all hot, delicious, and the perfect spice level. Great flavors. The best green curry I’ve had in a long time. It was all super delicious. So glad we gave it a try!
