I
will
try
to
avoid
Zoomcare
at
all
costs
in
the
future.
The
negligence
I
experienced
from
every
department-scheduling,
provider
treatment,
and
billing
has
been
ridiculous.
Scheduling:
On
the
website,
I
signed
up
for
an
'urgent
care'
appointment
and
they
said
they
accepted
my
insurance.
My
insurance
covers
urgent
care
appointments.
It
wasn't
until
after
my
appointment
that
I
was
told
it
was
billed
as
'primary
care'
and
they
aren't
in
network
with
my
insurance
for
primary
care.
This
is
despite
showing
zoomcare
it
says
'urgent
care
appointment'
in
my
confirmation
email.
This
seems
completely
fraudulent
and
unethical.
Additionally,
I
asked
why
I
never
received
a
Good
Faith
Estimate
as
physicians
are
required
by
law
to
provide
one
due
to
the
No
Surprise
Act.
They
told
me
they
were
somehow
unable
to
provide
one
of
those
despite
knowing
that
they
were
billing
as
an
out
of
pocket
primary
care
appointment
-so
are
they
are
above
the
law?
Provider
Treatment:
My
provider
administered
the
test
incorrectly
and
gave
my
condition
a
false
negative.
I
had
to
wait
5
days
to
get
an
appointment
with
a
doctor
at
a
different
company
who
did
the
test
correctly
and
I
was
able
to
get
treatment
for
my
condition.
Due
to
zoomcare's
provider's
negligence,
my
condition
obviously
got
worse
over
those
following
days.
Billing:
I
somehow
received
a
bill
for
hundreds
and
hundreds
of
dollars
5
months
after
my
appointment.
After
I
told
them
my
provider
administered
the
test
incorrectly
(medical
malpractice)
they
offered
my
a
hundred
dollars
off
my
bill.
I
agreed,
but
they
continued
to
send
me
the
original
bill.
I
called
them
a
month
later
and
they
had
NO
DOCUMENTATION
of
that
call
about
the
medical
malpractice
or
agreeing
to
lower
my
bill.
How??
Once
I
finally
received
the
updated
bill,
I
went
to
begrudgingly
pay
it
online,
and
my
online
account
said
I
had
no
payment
due.
I
called
the
billing
department
and
they
had
my
balance
and
said
the
online
portal
had
issues.
How
in
the
world
was
every
department
at
this
company
such
a
mess?
Oregon
already
fined
zoomcare
$285,000
as
part
of
a
lawsuit
in
2017
and
I
wouldn't
be
surprised
if
I
see
some
sort
of
class
action
lawsuit
towards
them
in
the
future.
What
they
are
doing
can
really
hurt
people
both
medically
and
financially.
