The Brix Tavern is an amazing place. I've been there for brunch, dinner and I've also ordered takeout before. I love the food, I always get their salt and pepper calamari regardless of what I'm actually trying to get for my meal. Happy hour is really nice too when you meet it and it's for food (not all meals though) and drinks. It is quite pricey but I love their food so I keep going back. Ordering online for takeout was super easy too. Ambience is great inside but you can sit outside and people-watch. Service is nice and the people there are cool. Seating doesn't take long as long as there are open seats but it's a hotspot so it can get crowded.

The drinks were pretty decent and the food was good. The fish and chips we got were excellent- they had a great crisp to them and the sauce was flavorful and zesty. The Cobb salad was Ok… the chicken was reminiscent of packaged chicken I could buy at a store. I enjoyed my Huckleberry Daisy it was delicious! My hubby got a Wild Jito - which we thought was pretty good - very fresh tasting but I liked mine better. We sat outside and their patio area was nice but right directly on a busy street so it was rather loud at times, as lots of motorcycles and cars are next to you. Our service was slow, maybe because we were outside? Overall it was good food and I enjoyed it enough to go back if I’m in that area again.

We made reservations here for girls day. We had to park a couple of blocks away. It wasn't hard to find. The staff was nice. The food was decent. They gave us free donuts with our meal. It was very packed. The decor was interesting.

Fun place for brunch! Food was tasty, the staff was friendly, and it's a fun enjoyable atmosphere. They aren't lying about "bubbles with every bite" they kept my glass full the whole time (including after we got our check)! We had a great experience!

So glad I made reservations and added Brix Tavern to one of the stops on our Bachelorette weekend! Amazing drinks, scrumptious food, and friendly people. Be sure to hit the brunch!

My whiskey burger was pretty good, just would have preferred a bigger meatier patty I think. The beat salad was bomb, the toasted hazelnuts were delicious. Finally the Heath brownie, a respectable 7 out of 10. Will definitely go back, seems like a great atmosphere for cocktails. Awesome service.

Great food. Good brunch cocktails. Free fresh donuts for the table when you first sit down. Nice space. Music could be turned down a little as I find it hard to have a conversation over the volume.

I’ve been to Brix a couple times. It’s got a big menu with some really great options. The burger is delicious, and I highly recommend going during a less busy time. Service was subpar since they were understaffed and the restaurant was packed, which is understandable. I would definitely come again during dinner to try the more extensive menu! The chicken sandwich was a 2/5 in terms of the Portland competition but everything else was solid. I’m glad I went but I wouldn’t go again.

Me and my friends had a great time. Service was quick and we were served on the house donuts. Quality and quantity of food was reasonable.

Fun brunch. Patio seating with fresh air was great. I wanted to try their bottomless mimosas but was unable to. Their coffee and flavored lemonade was quite good though. Waiter was nice and gave us some complimentary donuts for our wait

We ran in real quick before the Blazers game. Service was great. I had the Polenta & Mushrooms and really enjoyed it. My husband had the Tuna. He didn’t offer to share, so I’m assuming it was delicious ;) We then also had the Grill Cheese with Tomato Soup and that was also yummy. Our two boys also had the kids pizza and cheeseburger, and my husband and I both had two drinks and we got out of there for under $100, which seems rare these days for the amount of food and drinks we had. It was also happy hour, and a pretty good one for what’s around town :) Also seems like a great place for a larger party or event.

Bottomless mimosas go a LONG way towards forgiving waiting almost half an hour after our reservation to sit. The biscuits and maple sausage gravy were AMAZING - sweet with the maple, but not overly so. Super tempted by a lot of other things on the menu and will absolutely be back.

Went in the midst of prom (not mine). Luckily I had a reserved a table so I didn't have to wait long. It was a bit before we saw our server, but the drinks & fondue appetizer did come out quickly after we ordered. The fondue was pretty tasty, but the drinks were a bit watered down. Didn't see our server for a while after that. I get that it was prom so they were busy. I was just concerned because I had to transport one of the prom goers to their destination & wanted to make sure there wouldn't be a delay. Finally saw our server & ordered, then the wait for the food wasn't too long- which was great. I had ordered the prime rib sandwich and I have to say, the meat itself was good...but there was so little of it on the sandwich that I actually opened the bread to see if maybe they forgot to put it in. I'm not saying meat should have been overflowing, but the bread to meat ratio should have not been so uneven. Yeah, I was disappointed. I'm not sure if I'd go back. Maybe? Maybe if it's not so busy? We'll see.

We had our anniversary brunch here. Lovely outdoor seating. My husband had the steak skillet and I had the southern Benedict. I really loved the way they cooked the hashbrowns. We also had Mimosas and they were delightful.

Had brunch at Brix and it was really good! I enjoyed the Benedict on a corn bread (never had that before). The staff was really friendly and the food/drinks weee delicious. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast!

Let me start off with we had a large party. There is a lot going on for the servers. The happy hour menu was reasonable in the price. The food was delicious. My only complaint-when the server took our order the food came to the table randomly. The person bringing the food did not take the order and he was very confused. It was difficult when several ordered the same food. This lead to a missed order, there is nothing more irritating watching others eat. Besides this, everything was great. I recommend going here for happy hour.

Brix Tavern has been the spot for many of my boozy Sundays, their bottomless mimosas hit the spot and you definitely get what you pay for! Their food is delicious, I’ve never had any issues with the food and always try new thing because it’s all so good. The brunch comes with these complimentary fruit and cream covered donuts that are amazing, I wish I could buy some to take home. Their dinner is just as good as their brunch, I recommend the pot pie!

I love this place!! One of the best places in Portland to get bottomless mimosa brunch. The pictures below are from their Happy Hour. It was wonderful as well. The tachos are tota with jalapeños and sour cream 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽 so good!! The fries calamari was the perfect texture and the tomato bacon soup and grilled cheese tasted like home 💓 Do not pass this place at any hour!

I can’t see why people are drawn to Brix, but other than the bottomless mimosas ($10), the food is not the top of my list. Most of the entree range from $17+ if you’re getting some sort of protein. Followed the recommendations and got the fried chicken and gravy. It was very teeny and dry. I love my hash crispy and they were so soggy. No wait typically on Saturday or Sunday for brunch since this place is huge

My partner and I had dinner here before a concert, and were pretty disappointed. The service was extremely slow. It took about 15 minutes before we could even order our drinks, and at least 15 minutes to get our drink. I understand being busy and things taking time, but it was not busy. Usually if we get dinner, we get 2 drinks and our meal. Because of how long everything took, we barely had time for one. Now the food was good. My partner got a wagyu beef burger, and he said it was phenomenal. He did ask for extra sauce, which he said he didnt get. But the fact his burger was that good, he was able to look past it. I ordered the Brix fried chicken breast, which came with country gravy and seasonal veggies. The chicken was amazing and juicy and perfectly fried. The veggies were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I devoured them so quickly. But the gravy...I was expecting country gravy, but I got a brown gravy. Not that brown gravy isn't good, but I was expecting country gravy, so that was very disappointing. The food was so good, but it was so hard to get past the brown gravy. All in all, I dont think we will return. The food was amazing, but not worth the long wait and super slow service. And definitely not worth getting the wrong kind of gravy with my chicken and mashed potatoes

Celebrated my 21st with a boozy brunch. I really enjoyed the bubbles with every bite. Make sure to get a reservation! Walk-in times can be long.

I came here for a Portland Burger Week burger. It was fine, patty felt over worked and/or low quality, not nice meat to be cooking to medium temp. Do not recommend brix at all. The servers made a big stink about us potentially having more than 8 people at once without making a reservation, even though the place is huge and was mostly empty on a Friday night--during portland burger week 🚩. Before hardly anyone showed up, and with some of my quietest co-workers, they actually told us to NOT BE LOUD. Service was insanely slow even though 5-6 servers were working. It would take 10-20 minutes to receive a beer in a can (One IPA on tap $8)! We waited another 30 minutes for a burger that had been forgotten near closing when it was even more slow. The servers were kind and really did their best, I think there's something wrong with how this place is being run. It shouldn't take that long for a drink at a "Tavern."

Great food and drinks; generous happy hour; excellent for watching football, Timbers, sports the bar area; outdoor seating. Thank you, staff, for making our Thanksgiving Sunday feel nice and homey!

Absolutely loved it here. We came in with a big group and they were able to accommodate us. Service was great and food cane in pretty quickly as well. Talking about food, it was great. It was very flavorful 10/10. I had the Brix Fried Chicken. It is crispy fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, and seasonal roasted veggies (that concisted of red bell peppers, yellow squash and zuchinni). They also have a wide variety of drinks to choose from. They had great service. I will definitely be coming back again!

Brandon is the BEST. This manager went above and beyond to help my friends out tonight by printing our concert tickets that I forgot. He was incredibly patient and helpful. I have never received such impeccable service! The meal and drinks were also incredible. This is my usual go to spout but now it’s no question! If I’m going out I’m going to Brix! Thank you again to Brandon and our amazing waitress.
