Kayla does amazing work! Always willing to work with you to achieve your hair goals but is realistic about the work/time it will take to get you there. I’ve never found a salon that I’ve wanted to return to before I found Kayla. I’ve been seeing her for over a year now and this is the latest color we’ve done! I went to see Meghan for a simple and much needed trim. When I walked in and saw my hair (which was previously colored by someone else) she instantly lit up. She had lots of ideas and was super understanding if i wanted to shut them down… and i’m so glad i didn’t!! If you’re looking for a fun cut and/or color she’s your gal. She spent my entire haircut with a smile on her face and was just so excited to do what she does best. My first appointment with Gina was by chance 6 years ago when I lived in Portland. Since then, I've followed her to Slate Studios and continue to make the trip to her despite moving an hour away from Portland. She's that good!

I came to Meghan with a hair disaster! There was a color explosion on my head with a lot of miscommunication from a few other stylists that left me with a platinum blonde money piece, about 2 inches of black, and drab brown in the back - none of what I asked for. The first time I saw Meghan, she was able to tone down the money piece and get rid of the black so I could get through the week. The following week I went back and she was able to give me exactly what I was originally looking for - brown with a sunkissed look! She was a lifesaver! I would highly recommend Meghan for any hair coloring or cut! Thank you!
