The Heartline is a wonderful place to call my home. From the spacious and modern apartments (I’ve lived in two units!) to the friendly staff and amenities, there is so much to love about the Heartline. The rooftop is perfect for sunset wine and grilling. The fitness center is well-equipped and always clean! The cinema room, with it’s comfy couches, is perfect for entertainting friends who are in town. The social events that building hosts are a great way to build community and get to know your neighbors. I highly recommend living in the Pearl with the Heartline as your next home!

I signed a one year lease at Heartline in June of 2021, and at the three month mark I was already asking to extend my lease another year. Prior to moving into Heartline, I lived in New York City where I lived in high-end residential buildings and smaller pre-war buildings alike. I’ve seen my fair share of management companies, and I’ve experienced all different levels of service. Heck, I work at a company which manages 35,000 properties across the country! If there’s anyone who knows the challenges tenants face with their property’s management staff, it’s me. Let me tell you, Heartline is the place to live if you want peace-of-mind, comfort, an excellent lifestyle and friendly and generous neighbors. Heartline is by far the best building I’ve ever lived in with the best staff and amenities I’ve had available to me. Lesley, Chrissy, Todd and Alex are reliable, kind, genuinely caring, supportive of each of their residents’ unique way of living, helpful, accommodating and are committed to the well-being and happiness of both those who live in the building and their guests. My studio apartment is absolutely gorgeous. It is appointed with fantastic appliances (including a dishwasher and in-unit washer/dryer - both of which are a big deal coming from NYC), beautiful rich wood floors and a HUGE bathroom including a beautiful floating vanity with lots of storage. The space boasts an industrial feel with exposed concrete ceilings and columns, and exposed ductwork. Overall, the space is sexy, chic and has a non-intimidating sense of luxury. I recently took a seven week vacation across the country, and Chrissy took care of my plants for me. We’re talking visits to the apartment every week and a half. WOW! Also amazing, Lesley took any packages that arrived up to my apartment for me. I couldn’t ask for better service from a management company’s staff. These amazing humans are unlike any I’ve ever encountered in my time renting apartments. Heartline’s amenities are over-the-top amazing too. My favorite is the roof deck with grills, dining tables for evening dinners with friends overlooking the setting sun and hills, a fire pit, a reflecting pool and a community garden! Then there’s the hub lounge. I reserved the lounge to throw a dinner party for coworkers, and the space couldn’t have been more inviting, warm, comfortable, well-appointed and it was super clean. Between the chef’s kitchen, large dining table, living room furniture, TV and HUGE fireplace, everyone felt at home and like they were having a luxury experience! Did I mention there’s a gym? I must admit, I’ve been naughty and haven’t used it as much as I should, but the times I have used it, it has felt perfectly stocked with equipment and is always clean. Every time I encounter someone looking at an apartment in the building I make a point to flag them down and gush about everything that Heartline has to offer. I could go on and on (obviously), but let me leave you with this one piece of advice… If you’re looking for an apartment in the pearl district that is warm, inviting, luxurious and which is run by a down-to-earth, stellar staff, look no further than Heartline. Contact them today - run, don’t walk.

Heartline is the first place I’ve ever lived that truly feels like home. I’ve never had a true emotional connection to a house/apartment so much that it has become home in every aspect. I’ve met many new lifelong friends in the building, so much so that at this point, I do feel like I’m living a real life episode of FRIENDS. The community aspect is unparalleled, even just running a few doors down to a friend to grab a couple of eggs I was short on to finish baking cookies standout to me as a priceless component of living here. There are so many opportunities to connect with other residents though the monthly resident events (the summertime rooftop drag show was a standout!) or even casual elevator run-ins; everyone is just so absolutely welcoming and friendly. Put simply, you just feel good being surrounded by good company living here / being in the building. My actual unit is incredible. Not a day goes by where I take the floor-to-ceiling windows for granted, especially with an east facing view of Mt. Hood. The finishes are top notch, appliances are new and top-tier (yes icemaker and gas range!!). Most importantly, there is NO SOUND! The building is built like a tank. The second you close one of the double (or maybe triple) paned windows, all ambient outside noise is immediately gone into the abyss. I can’t stress this enough. It’s insanely quiet and you can feel the solid construction of the building in many ways, but no truer than closing a window (even the sound it makes when it seals). I’ve never had a single noise issue from other residents, and frankly given the slabs of concrete between us, it would take a lot of noise to hear a neighbor, and I mean full-on rock n’ roll show next door, which of course has never happened because the people that live here are extremely considerate. Even more surpassed than my actual unit are the staff! They are family now: Lesley, Chrissy, Alex and Todd are world class experts in running a property. Every bit personable yet professional, extremely prompt and wanting every resident to have the best possible experience living here. Lesley runs an amazing operation. She takes care of this building like it’s her own. I mean heck - she has the common areas cleaned daily, the hallways painted and carpet cleaned every 6-months or so, even the parking garage is professionally cleaned often! I stop by the office every time I’m coming/going simply to say “hi” and chat for a bit and sometimes it’s the best part of my day. I’ve gone through health scares, breakups, bad days and good days, and I have relied on the Heartline family to get me through. I am tears writing and reflecting upon my Heartline experience, which is probably one, if not the single best decision I’ve made in my life. Years ago, I only ever dreamed of this life, watching a friends episode and thinking “yea, must be nice… but only in the movies is this type of life real.” Well here we are, the best 2 years of my life so far and more to come, calling Heartline home and the people here forever family.

I lived here from 2020 till 2023, when I moved from LA. Brand new to the city, and not knowing anyone, Heartline gave me a home beyond any expectations I had. If you are considering a place to live in Portland, you will not find a place better than Heartline. Going over and beyond what is expected of an apartment complex, Heartline is a home and the people that work here make it a welcoming and amazing place to live in. Everyone working here - Lesley, Chrissy, Alex, other Alex, and Todd are exceptionally good at what they do. Chrissy and other Alex were always on top of any day-to-day requests I had and organized events for Residents to interact, Todd and Alex were prompt and thorough about all the maintenance requests I had over the years. Lesley is a gem - she made sure every resident behaved within expectations so that everyone had good home - I will miss her emails. Heartline is clean, well maintained, thoroughly looked after and cared for. The rooftop 360deg views are unparalleled, the rooftop garden is such a gem, the shared amenities are all well maintained and easily accessible, and there is a team is here that will make sure you're at a place that you can truly call home. I hope I'll be lucky enough to find a place like this as I move back to LA. I will miss the team here, and the place that made me feel so secure and cared for.

I've been at Heartline for two years now and have had the best experiences. The staff is amazing - helpful, knowledgeable - and they all go above and beyond to ensure they run the best complex in town. The building is top notch in terms of amenities and is very well maintained. The apartments are perfectly appointed and QUIET! We never get noise from other units. The cinema is great and the rooftop deck is spectacular. Wine is regularly handed out to residents, and there are also resident events (more pre-COVID, of course, but the rooftop deck does provide space for people to safely assemble). Residents are even allowed to suggest and organize events, notably a drag show last fall! Special shout outs to Lesley, the property manager, and Todd, the maintenance manager. I appreciate all they do and know that putting up with us can be a pain, but they alway do it with a smile.

This has been the best living experience ever. We would live here forever if we could. We’ve been here for less than three years and the staff is the same; which is always a good sign. Lesley, Todd, Alex, Alex, and Chrissy are incredible and make it feel like a community. Since they’ve been working here for a while, they’ve built a deep understanding about the community. They’re absolutely wonderful people and genuinely want to provide the best. If things are out of their control or something breaks, I know they work hard to make things right. In fact; any time we had an issue with something, they addressed it the same day. My husband lived here and then moved in with me in another apartment complex. We immediately moved back here. In terms of the actual apartment, it’s industrial and gets lots of light. The layouts are designed to make the most out of the smallish square footage. Our current apartment feels much larger than past apartments that have been larger. I don’t think it’s noisy and I’m extremely sensitive to noise; you can occasionally hear shuffles in the hallway or above but it’s been the quietest apartment I’ve ever been to. Parking is totally fine. We have one car and it’s super easy since the apartment is near everything. Some of the best dining and shopping is within 8 blocks of the apartment. You can walk to a lot of trendy bars too. I think it’s a super safe apartment and the area nearby is pretty safe as well. Amenities are awesome. We use the office for board game nights! They also have the movie theater, gym, and rooftop area, all in pristine condition. I even grew a garden upstairs. I can’t speak more highly of this apartment. It’s the best of Portland in one location. They win so many awards for a reason and they constantly listen to feedback to make better improvements. They also care about their community. We were beyond lucky to choose this apartment and live here as long as we did. TLD: great people, great location, great apartments, and great service. Would love to live here forever.

Heartline is the best community I have ever lived at. The apartments are beautiful, but what sets it apart is the amazing staff that work there. Maintenance is unbelievably quick and helpful for the smallest of queries, and everyone in the leasing office is kind and accommodating. When I adopted a cat partway through my lease they waived the pet fee completely simply because I got her from a shelter. Cannot recommend Heartline enough.

Absolutely the best renting experience imaginable. Fabulous amenities (gym, cinema, meeting room, rooftop garden……) aside, the management team (huge shoutout to Alex, Chrissy and Lesley) just goes above and beyond to support the residents. The quality of the apartment itself and the location are both impeccable. I had to move out for a job in California and I walked out knowing for sure I will never find an apartment as perfect as the one I had. Can’t say enough good things about Heartline.
