For the price of the room, it was worth it. It definitely is not a five-star resort, but the friendly desk staff, accommodating housekeeping, and ample pillows and comforters on the bed made our stay pleasant. It is not in the best neighborhood, but we had no issues with our vehicle. However, be aware that although it is billed as having complimentary breakfast in the morning, it consists of a bowl of bananas, some danish pastries, and an orange & apple juice machine. McDonalds is a two minute drive away.

5 stars for service! Not a fancy hotel, but seems well maintained and is by far the nicest Super 8 I have stayed in. Loraine at front desk is the definition of customer service! Pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. Bed is actually very comfy as well. Thanks!

To be honest, the room was a bit unclean (hair on the bathroom floor), but....WOW the amazing staff!!!! I want to give a big shout out to Jasmine on evening shift for checking us in. I was frazzled from driving all day with three young kids and not enough coffee for me, or rest for them. She was SUPER calm, helped me through checkin options because I had lost my card, and was so kind and sweet that most of my stress just melted away after talking to her. Another staff member who was working helped point us in the right direction as I was rushing my youngest to the bathroom before we got our key too!! Everyone was so nice and I felt very welcome and comfortable. Thanks Jasmine and other staffing person!

Required a $300 cash deposit and upon checkout charged me $100 because the used towels were on the floor in the bathroom?! Seriously? This was the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard a deposit being kept for. I have a pretty good idea the girl working just pocketed the money. Stay somewhere else, there are several hotels in the area that would be a better option. TWO THUMBS DOWN πŸ‘ŽπŸΌ πŸ‘ŽπŸΌ

For the most part Staff was understanding and friendly but with regards r to my sons medical condition at the time of the incident 1:26 AM the front desk staff failed to meet my sons medical needs and would not let us leave the premises as we had my sons mother was coming to be with his ADA service Animal. At which time we were forced to call an ambulance . His Mother arrived at the same time as EMS arrived. After being treated disrespectfully by night staff Levi, if that is his real name I would not advise staying at this location especially with handicapped people of all ages . There are no service elevators at this location . it is imperative for all locations to have Service elevators with regards to handicapped persons and EMS Authorities . We are filing a formal report with corporate and ADA we were charged a 100 dollar deposit for our sons service animal and have not been refunded at the time of the incident above happened . His mother arrived the same time as EMS Authorities and removed his Service Dog and we believe as a medical service dog we should be refunded in full. Sincerely , the Family of Rudy Robles

Had to carry my luggage up the stairs - no elevator. Our room: floors were dirty, shower had mold. Location was close to the airport though, so if you're in a pinch, this place will work on a budget.

1st room smelled like mildew, toilet didn't flush, and the TV remote didn't work. 2nd room was OK. First attended act like she didn't want to be there, and the 2nd was very nice and courteous moved us to another room cudos to her. Won't stay there again, and definitely wouldn't recommend.

The room was not proply cleaned. The furniture is all cracked and peeling. The bed was up against a uncover outlet with exposed wires. There was not the proper amount of towels in room. The microwave was filthy. No plug for bath tub. They say the have breakfast. There was nonthing at all. Staff was unwelcoming. There is no handicap access. No help with luggage. Other customers had to help. I spoke to management and they refused any refund for the dangerous wireing.. I would not recommend this at all I have pictures of the room and they lare very hard to get respfrom that is management

Tub shower knob leaked badly and reported only to find out it had been reported a week earlier. Only one coffee cup in room. Internet price offers hot breakfast but only oatmeal to make hot. One Internet park and fly price 5 dollars ours was 8 dollars. Close to the airport and good shuttle service.

I booked a ten day parking spot through On Air parking here and had a great experience. Checking in was quick and easy, front desk person was very pleasant. Shuttle was great, I called when I landed and the woman I talked to explained where to go and that the shuttle was headed my way soon. The fenced in long term parking lot was full, so I was instructed to park in the immediate hotel parking area. I read a bunch of older reviews about break-ins, vehicle theft and stolen catalytic converters on here, and I was stressed about it. Very happy to report that my car was exactly as I left it, no issues. 10/10 will use this service again.

Staff was unfriendly and didn’t know what they were doing. Right when we walked into our room it was filthy. Stuff on the walls, the bathroom was a mess! It still had cleaning residue all over it like it hadn’t been scrubbed down properly. One of the side table drawers was filled with trash. To make it worse, all night there was loud running/foot steps coming from the bedroom up stairs. When we told them at the front desk they didn’t do anything about it. Overall, I would say it was a very awful stay. Don’t recommend

Oh man where to begin. The location is great, 5 minutes to the airport. But Portland has become synonymous with homelessness and crime. I'd be really worried about leaving my car being there when I get back if I had left it there for long term parking. The lady checking us in was very a very "to the point" no nonsense type of person. I guess you have to be to work in that area. She didn't answer our questions, and also did not write us in for the airport shuttle in the morning. Once we checked into our room, you could tell they had tried to update the rooms, but everything was severely lacking. The painted over graffiti in the bathroom was awesome. The TV didn't have a remote control, and when my husband called the front desk, she promptly hung up on him. He went down to grab one and she mentioned that you can control the TV from the side, you don't need a remote. She gave him one anyway, sans back battery plate. We got zero sleep from all the other guests having multiple wake up calls at all hours of the early morning, starting from 3am onward. Then the lack of consideration and the use of inside voices was justthe icing on the cake. My husband is a naturally loud individual, but even the other guests were excessive in thier volume. The mini fridge made all sorts of wonderful noises, somewhat akin to someone trying to pick the lock to get inside our room. Since we were already nervous being in Portland, you can see how this made for a relaxing evening. When we got up for breakfast we found coffee, an empty bowl, orange juice, packets of oatmeal, and one granola bar. We made our way to check out and grab the shuttle. When we asked the gentleman who checked us out if we were still confirmed for the airport shuttle, he said last nights front desk agent did not write us in, but got us on that shuttle anyway. The shuttle was the best part. When we got to escape that hotel and never look back.

I had missed my flights but this hotel was an affordable and close option. Wonderful rooms, great accommodations, and located in a great area as well. They even have a shuttle service for the airport so that you don't have to worry about a lift or a rental car. Excellent!

Rooms were okay. I did not like how there was no closet space & the rooms very small. Service was okay, staff seemed to have a flat affect &/or be confrontational. The location was less than ideal. The parking situation was sucky, and there are probably many places to stay in more convenient locations.

I didn't stay here, I only used their parking lot to park while outta of town. I used them before and was pleased with them then. Prices were affordable and got picked right away on my return. This time, it's just the opposite. Price was much more than last time. It was cold n raining, and I had to wait almost an hour to get pick up from the airport. I wasn't very pleased about that. The only thing I can say is this... theres other lots that watch your car while you're out of town, A little better priced and come pick you up much quicker than these folks do.

Do not stay at this establishment! Your privacy will be violated. I went to lunch and upon coming back to my room I noticed that my things had been fondled with and a personal item was missing. When asked to rewind the surveillance footage management would not do it. They completely did not care and the manager told me to take it up with corporate. The attitude from staff and managers are unprofessional and disrespectful. They will allow theft from staff and whom ever else and will not care! Please be advised do not stay here go someplace else that is safer. Depak Petal is the owner of the property and he is fully aware of the incident. At the time of the incident only front desk and one housekeeper was on property. I had not requested room service for that day. Nothing got cleaned but it was evident someone went in my room and through my things. Management would not address the situation and when asked to speak to the general manager he would not meet with me although he told me he would be at the property the next morning. He did not want to speak to me. That’s completely unacceptable and I will be taking it up with corporate. DO NOT BOOK HERE. I immediately departed.

It was a bad experience for me and my wife on our visit on Wednesday8/2/23. When we entered Room 201, it was totally unprepared , and the motel attendant was the witness. He asked us to move to Room 227 which was in an even sadder condition : bed with dirty cover sheet & blanket and the room smell bad. We were very disappointed but had to spend that night in the first room, # 201. I am enclosing the pictures of the 2 rooms.I am certain you would understand how disappointed we felt.

Hallways smelled terrible, somewhat of smoke. Staff were not the friendliest. And in overnight I found a bug, very positive it was a baby cockroach in the bathroom. The whole evening/night all I wanted was to go home, ruined some of the excitement of my trip. Glad it was a one night stay.

Horrible airport parking experience: we had reservation for early flight this morning and even came early to catch the 4am shuttle bus, but we were denied the service. We had to park around the hotel because their secured parking lot was β€œfull.” Better yet, the front desk lady said the shuttle bus was also β€œfull,” and we had to wait for the next 4:30am bus. We had to split up our group and booked an Uber. Little did I know there was 2 more person came when the bus was about to drive off and they let them in. Our family was left at the parking lot. Never again at this place.

Not bad, this is a great hotel for budget use. But there's no elevator's, but still decent location, you're very close to the airport, and you're not too far from tourist attractions. other than that. It's the best Budget Hotel.

The rooms were dirty. Bathroom was not cleaned. The sites says they will provide breakfast but wasn't there. I donot recommend this Super 8 property compared to other super 8 properties.

Cheap, but for a reason. No elevator, rooms a bit run down, furniture worn, etc. Only walkable places nearby are a 7-11 and a 24 hour diner, which is handy. Staff was fine but seemed a bit grumpy. Safety was good with cameras everywhere and parking lot has good lighting. Shuttle to airport was efficient and quick. If you can get it for less than $70 a night, go for it. Otherwise I’m sure there are better options.

This is a very convenient location to PDX. I wish I could give Super 8 a better review. They have on-site long-term parking and that's great. The first room had no water to the shower. The girl at the desk was extremely friendly and helpful and got me another room. My stay was comfortable and the bed was nice. The "breakfast" SUCKED! The website states a breakfast for all guests. If you consider a banana, granola bar or a packet of instant oatmeal a breakfast then this is the place for you. I consider a breakfast to be a little more. There is a shuttle to the airport and that is nice. I expect a little more for the price.

We've stayed here many times when we need to catch an early morning flight. It serves that need perfectly. They have long-term parking available for a fee and airport shuttle.

I loved this place! It was not so great at the check in with the manager (she was complaining about her called out employees while I was there, like if I wasn't) but then the grave yard employee saved the day and she was amazing! The rooms were super clean.

Rooms have been recently remodeled. Nice quality bedding, bathroom, and furniture. Looked, smelled, and felt clean. Airport shuttle was a saver. Van driver on Sunday morning May 29th was texting while driving so that was a bit scary. Shuttle van would not give us a ride to the train stop, airport only. We we're ok walking but that wouldn't be safe after dark in this part of town.

Lady we checked in with was very grumpy even tho we were trying to be very polite and cheerful. Clean rooms and easy to find. They had room for pickup truck and trailer. And the lady during check out was very nice

I can't say enough GOOD things about this little of a GEM of a hotel. As a veteran property manager who knows the game, I would snap this STAFF up in a HOT MINUTE, if I could. Everyone simply went above and beyond. You could tell the staff loved the place and went the extra mile to make the guests feel at home. Ladies at the front desk...you were simply AWESOME and made my stay in Portland really special. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. 225 became my 'home away from home' and yes, I will be visiting you again.

It's pretty cheap so there's that. Sheets were clean and beds were relatively comfortable. The rest of the room was pretty gross. Things stuck to the wall. Nightstand didn't even look to have been wiped down. There were drink rings and some sort of sticky substance on it. Missing outlet covers and loose outlets. Was thankful to only have to be there about 12 hours. The lady at the desk at checkout was pleasant and our shuttle was ready promptly. The lady at the desk when we first arrived wasn't necessarily rude just didn't seem thrilled to be there at all.

I've been staying here for the last three weeks and have been totally satisfied. The room I'm in has LVP flooring. Staff has been friendly. I have not experienced any of the problems that other reviewers described. Especially for the price, I've been happy here and would definitely stay here again.

The place was clean and safe! Not a 3 or 4 🌟 hotel, but it was an adequate stay. Due to covid restrictions they didn't have a full spread for breakfast, however the coffee was hot and the pastries were tasty.

We have stayed here for several years for the main reason of a gated parking lot. Well not anymore....our vehicle was stolen in broad daylight. That was only the beginning of a very bad experience. The Portland police saw our vehicle the next day and it was very suspicious. There wasn't anything they could do because no one reported it as stolen. The reason it wasn't reported as stolen is because Super 8 didn't contact me and let me know it was stolen. I found out 3 days later from the Vancouver police when they found it abandoned. Needless to say I'm very disappointed in how this was handled and can no longer recommend this hotel.
