Check your receipt carefully if you bring a pet, they tried to charge us the "per stay" pet fee for every night of our stay. I picked this hotel because of the low pet fee and didn't appreciate the front desk trying to triple it for a weekend stay. The bathroom has seen better days with a cracked, stained bathtub and tiles. At least it has hard floors so there weren't sticky carpets. It's noisy inside and outside so bring earplugs or a noise machine if you want to get any sleep.

Dirty room and sad breakfast service. Carpets in the room were filthy and we were uncomfortable to stand on it. Furniture was old, chair had tears and the fridge and microwave were next to the bed! The room next door (where our friends were staying) was completely opposite, with new carpet and new furniture. Breakfast room was cluttered with raw materials and no spoons for eating cereal. Overall the entire hotel was dirty, the chairs in the lobby were so dirty, they were probably not cleaned in years. Also, the are around the hotel doesn't feel safe with too many homeless people. Not worth spending ~$150 for this hotel.

This hotel is filthy, shabby, rundown, does not have a functioning hot tub or gym, the breakfast is gross, and the neighborhood is bad. Gunshots outside of our window in the night, homeless encampment along the back parking lot. The rooms have not been updated in decades, everything is frayed and falling apart. The Internet does not work and is out of date and not secure.

First, let me say, I have traveled around the world. I've stayed in the simplest of accommodations from rural Mexico to India to Vietnam. I have never felt as unsafe and uncomfortable as I felt at this Ramada. The neighborhood is super sketchy. Homeless zombies are both in and out of the hotel. An alcohol soaked guy walking the halls with a scab-faced woman and their baby said he was staying there thru a drug rehab program. He was spouting random delusions. Another tenant, smoking pot outside greeted us at the front door. She said that was a terrible neighborhood where "everyone has a gun". Not one person I saw there looked like a self-paying customer. I'm guessing this facility might be in transition or being sold to be used as a homeless shelter, like the airport Ramada was. In any event, it appears as though they are currently selling rooms to facilities for homeless housing. Our room smelled strongly of bleach. Zombies wandered the halls all night long. The wear and tear on the facility was evident from lack of upkeep and abuse. The front parking lot is small. The overflow parking in the rear is shared with homeless campers, garbage and broken cars etc...It looks like a war zone. Desperately, we stayed one night as planned and left early in the morning. We paid for extended parking but abandoned our reservation and left our car at long term economy parking at the airport. Unless you are really desperate, I would not consider a stay here.

Gotta real murdery vibe here. Got a room seen room promptly demanded refund. I could use the toilet and lay on bed at the same time. Plus the woman who checked us in what by far the rudest most disrespectful creature. To have her working hospitality is pathetic. Younger one real snarky like we were wasting her life for her... I did get offered a few drugs in 20 feet from car to door and they are fine with people standing at the door begging cash and ciggerette

Pros : Located next to many useful amenities. The room was relatively clean. Price point is fair. Free breakfast as well as items for purchase in the lobby. Air-conditioning and outlets were all functional. Mini fridge and lots of storage. Cons: There's a heavy influx of derelict homeless people and addicts occupying this section of Portland so I'd definitely keep an eye out on your vehicle and don't leave your door open unattended. The television for some reason (in my experience almost) none of the channels worked but there was free high speed Internet so it definitely makes up for it. Worth mentioning: There is a fitness room and "spa" as well as a laundry room though I didn't use any of it. The hot tub literally looks toxic. But, hey, if you're expecting luxury, try another location. Do not walk around this hotel without shoes or barefoot. I don't think the carpets have EVER been cleaned.

THIS place should be called "motel 2"! I've even stayed at motel 6's that were absolutely hands down so much cleaner and easier to sleep in than this supposed "Ramada" It doesn't deserve the name of "Ramada inn". The worst Ramada inn I've ever seen in my entire life. The stains on the furniture is beyond disgusting let alone the cleanliness or lack thereof of of the rooms. They did change me to another room when I complained about the stains on the sofa cushions but then when I walked into my second room there was just a little bit less stains on the sofa cushions disgusting

When we booked the room, the Ramada front desk told us it would be no problem at all to check in at 8:00AM. I even called and verified on route at 6AM and they said we could check in whenever we wanted, that the room was ready. Upon arrival, after driving very far to get there, that's when they told us about a $50 early check-in fee. That's just bad business. We chose not to argue with the lady. We got on the phone and found another hotel room similar value in a better part of town without such underhand fee in 5 minutes. Glad we weren't stuck with this room. We were exhausted from the long drive and Ramada would have been a bad deal. I wouldn't recommend doing business with this hotel unless you had to.

This was a very great!/lousy! experience. Arriving at 7pm with two small children in tow, and had to wait 20 minutes for a desk person to show up. Meanwhile our 3 yr old ended up in the parking lot using her potty seat due to 'out of order' lobby restroom. Breakfast was terrific- quality items and lots of options to choose from. WIFI was also terrific- fast and efficient. On the down side, the lamps and clock were not plugged in when we got to our room, a lot of the bedding and furniture needed to be updated badly. Lamp with electronics plug ins did not work properly, and there are not a lot of visible plugs to use. The spider in the corner of the bathroom was a bit off-putting...The heating/cooling system was very efficient, as was the hot water. Major minus if you are on second or third floor was the 'haunted' elevator, which kept opening and closing the door before moving. There was also an unpleasant smell in both the elevator and the lobby area. It was very convenient to the freeways, if a little hard to get to due to the way streets are laid out in Portland area. Overall, if you just need a crash pad, this will work well, but if you need to stay in the room for any length of time, not your best choice to stay.

Located just a 15-minute drive from downtown Portland, the Ramada in Portland South East pleasantly surprised me with an unexpected breakfast inclusion. Despite not being mentioned in the voucher I purchased, the hotel provided a standard American breakfast spread. The breakfast options included eggs, waffles, yogurt, coffee, and juice, offering a satisfying start to the day. Although the room was on the smaller side and exhibited signs of age, it was undeniably clean. While the size may not have been ideal, the cleanliness made up for it. The hotel staff deserves appreciation for their attention to cleanliness. Overall, I would rate my experience at the Ramada in Portland South East as a solid 3.5 out of 5. The convenient proximity to downtown Portland coupled with the unexpected breakfast inclusion added value to my stay. However, it is worth noting that the room size was smaller than expected and showed signs of aging. Nevertheless, the cleanliness of the room and the provided amenities made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Why did this place pop on my contribute suggestions! Years ago I interviewed here and the son of the owners wanted me to give my job a call for a references. Which was no problem. Well, I mentioned that I worked for a family owned business.. no one at the company could do my reference due to my dad owning it. Saying people would lie because my dad was the owner. I asked if one or how ever many of outside sales rep we worked with could write me a letter of recommendation or/and be a reference. Once again told no, it had to be a previous employer and manager that I wasn't a relative of.. how do u work that out when your only job you've had, your dad is the owner of a family ran, family managed Corporation?? I asked him who do u work for?? His dad owned the hotel.. i decided to save him the time letting him know i would escort myself out and just wished him luck in the future may he ever have to come across an employer like him! Thanking him for the experience because it probably saved me from wasting my work qualities with someone who isn't being fair.

Managers wife is unprofessional, because I asked to speak to him by name since I was a guest there prior for more than a month, and I was familiar speaking with him since she was rude and had been giving Mr attitude since I arrived and she tried to quote me a price for the room that was $50 more than I have ever payed, and the rooms aren't even special or even worth the price I've payed in the past, anyways I decided to just book my room with my points and on the day of check in I was told I wasn't welcome there ever again and my points were not refunded to me! This hotel near mall 205 is the worst and so unprofessional and if it weren't for the one maid who I adore and one receptionist who I know well I would of sued that hotel for all the trouble I went through to get a room after losing my points abs having to find a room in such short time!

I love this place! When I want to get away, this is exactly where I go. Every time I always find a great deal here. I love the double Queen deluxe rooms, they're huge and the bedding is super comfortable, it's just really nice and clean, like I mentioned, it's my favorite! It's off the beaten track too so you have a lot of privacy, which is very nice! Hard to find in portland! Privacy is few and far between so if you're looking for some place that is really low-key, this is definitely a great place for that.

The only amenities, a fitness room and hot tub were non functional and filthy. The seat was missing on the exercise bike, treadmill didn't work. Hot tub was half full and stunk horribly. No signage stating it was not working. The parking is tough. Rooms were not cleaned very well, lots of hair in the corners in the bathroom. Next door houses some pretty shady acting folks. Front desk staff was very friendly and did their best to accommodate missing items in the room etc.

Only if necessary!! the first time was ok because of staff even though run down rooms. The last time dirty room and one very uneducated and rude front desk woman that ripped up in front of me my paperwork showing her the laws on service animals. I will advise not giving this hotel your well earned money. The bed board even had hand marks on it.

Not in the nicest area but it's close to downtown Portland. The rooms are decent but could use some updating. The staff is nice and I like that they serve a complimentary breakfast.

Had a red eye flight cancelled and was trying to find accommodations for 36 hours. The hotel team understood and from the total cost when I called to the final bill they took off a lot and made the bill fit under the reimbursement fee from the airlines. Kudos to the staff. Room was spacious, could be updated and the water pressure was nice. Location was ok, walking distance to the airport shuttle bus. So I save a lot on a taxi. The neighborhood I'm between was sketchy though - that's more on Portland though.

Rooms are in need of repair; shower fan was broken, toilet was wobbly, mattress was lumpy and low quality. It was understaffed. The only entrance (even for guests with a key-card) was the main lobby, so I suggest asking for a room ending in *00-*15 - our room was 233, and that was a LONG walk from the lobby. I twice found a rear emergency exit propped open, which was convenient at the time, but made me concerned for security, especially with the homeless and the drug addicts present. There seems to be a growing problem with rv's and tents on the streets surrounding the motel, and the available parking is sketchy, with no visible security cameras and inadequate lighting.

Remember to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking your hotel. This site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the best in this area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you won't be disappointed. I love that i they had clean rooms great breakfast and they gave my 50 deposit back the day i checked out

There's to strip clubs to your left highways all around you the first room we went into normally did the drains not work or any of the electrical sockets but the door was questionable at best. The second room which was ostensibly the same was completely different, at least everything worked however probably the most filthy I've ever felt after staying in a hotel I wouldn't even get in their bathtub it was safer to wash with my personals soap and water

Not much for rest and relaxation, Staff called and woke me claiming they lost my voucher first morning. Last day we stayed we were walked in on by the Cleanin lady. Room had cobwebs in all the corners. Staff was rude to me when I presented the situation and asked if they could use help and offered. Thanked the breakfast staff and smiled and none of them would smile, nothing but cold stares. Front desk staff was the same way, no smiles. Seemed like we (my 13 year old Son and I) were not even welcome. I am very tired and just want my room cleaned so I can relax the hardwood floor picks up all the crud and lentil on the floor to the bottom of the feet and into the bed it goes. Been in the room 2 days with no maid service, just today they came for towels but still have to wait for them to clean the room. Ended up cleaning it myself.

First room we went into, the moment I turned on the AC I smelled a very strong mildew smell. A very simple fix by just replacing the filters, but left unchecked can spread mold spores around the whole room. That being said, I went to the front desk and the woman was very accommodating and changed my room. The AC in the new room still had a little smell, but not nearly as bad. Still, could use a filter change. Shows that the management is likely lazy/cutting costs by not simply replacing AC filters. Seems like kind of a sketchy neighborhood, with people yelling in the streets day & night. I wouldn't want to stay here again

Usually I have great experiences here. The last time though was a different story. The dryer was broken and they wouldn't help me so my clothes were soaked. The hot tub they advertise and include in the price was down. Some cosmetic damage in the room and the people above us were banging around at 2am. They said it couldn't be them because they are family. But us pounding on the ceiling stopped the noise. At least the breakfast is amazing. But get there quick as some things do run out. But it's really good. They have a waffle iron and a pancake maker. Eggs and sausage. Biscuits and gravy. Plus the usual muffins and fruit and yogurt.

BEDBUGS! I stayed upper level far back of hotel. Numerous issues. Most importantly I changed rooms twice due to BEDBUGS! Disgusting place with rude people employees that lie. They wanted the dead bedbugs I had and I refused to give to them. The hotel owner knew what was going on and did nothing. I had complained several times. POLICE were called, received deposit back finally after several hours. They decided to charge my bank account for another day. And I stopped payment and have never recieved a call or letter of apology or a refund. Disgusting hotel. Rude employees. BEDBUGS! Do NOT STAY HERE!

This place is a scam. Called and asked if they charged a deposit and were told they do not. On arrival was quoted a price, and then they tried to run my card for $50 more than the price he just told me. Claimed it was an "incidentals deposit". When we pointed out that not only had they denied charging one on the phone but that he had quoted a different price 30 seconds before he suggested we try Motel 6. Neighborhood is also very sketchy.

Very uncomfortable had many gentle men aggressive try and take and follow me while walking to my car. I was yelled at many times from Random people I wouldn’t mind but I have a baby and it was not welcoming. The male front desk employee was pretty rude house keeping was great.

A bit expensive for small rooms, but effective and clean. Good location, easy to find. Not enough parking for everyone. But there are security guards for the place across the street all night. So I didnt feel too bad about parking on the street. Tight parking lot that is filled by 7pm every night. Not good for bigger vehicles. Friendly staff, easy check in and out.

Very nice. Superb room. Comfy bed. Huge selection for hot breakfast. Very helpful front desk. Easy access on and off freeway. Highly recommend if you need to stay anywhere in the Portland area.

Meh...fairly cheap and the employees are very nice. Only gave three stars because the facilities are seriously lacking. Carpet frayed at every edge the doors are in disrepair there were holes/dents in the walls, the toilet rocked, and the paint was chipped. The beds were clean and the air conditioner worked well (over a hundred so that was important) the breakfast was missing a bunch of stuff but what they had was good. If you need a cheap place to stay for one or two nights it's not too bad. Bring your own coffee theirs is not drinkable.

Excellent front office staff..but the amenities were not available (breakfast, hot tub, workout room - probably due to Covid). Room was clean, but the shower was lukewarm. Even though pets were allowed (thank you!), there was nowhere for them to eliminate really...small patch of grass out the front, and homeless in the back.

This is by far the nastiest hotel I have ever had the misfortune of staying in. If possible I would give it -5 stars. Just look at the bath tub and the chair in the room. The website promised breakfast yet there is none available. You would be better off in a homeless shelter.

  • 1/5 Shyla B. 2 years ago on Google
This was the most disappointing hotel I have ever stayed in and will be writing a review. To start we booked based on amenities all of which were unavailable or not functional. We were nicely, based on circumstances greeted at the counter and told our key probably wouldn’t work , and we would have to be let in each time by the hospitality staff. Upon entering our room we noticed torn carpet and dirty smudges on the walls. We decided to overlook that. After dropping my kids off at a concert near by we wanted to relax in the spa which we were then informed was out of order I asked for a refund and was told to talk to management. We looked in the area for other Vacancies and couldn’t find anything so we took the loss and decided to just watch tv. We were again seriously disappointed when we discovered that the tv wouldn’t work. At this point I was extremely disappointed again and called down to the front desk The hospitality staff kindly took the brunt force of my frustration and informed me that the management would be contacting me. That never happened. The next morning we woke to a promised continental breakfast which of course they were out of the only thing they had available was a wrapped apple and a granola bar. Had I know this I would have booked a camp sight or stayed with the homeless on the streets.

Staff is AMAZING! Jossalyn was awesome. Monte was awesome as well when came the first time. Older hotel but we always stay there and bit our money into having a great vacation versus a luxury hotel. Will stay again.

  • 2/5 Zach G. 2 years ago on Google
First of all, the lady at the desk was very helpful. The bed was also very comfortable. The low rating comes from the fact that our key cards didn't work 98% of the time. I swiped it for 5 minutes straight on repeat just to get into the hot tub (filled with particles). And the key also didn't work for our room right away. The room smelled faintly like smoke. The AC until worked well though. Hit or miss, but seems like a likely miss.

Nice place to stay for max 2 nights anything more than that I would say no. I foujd that the other side of the bed was gross in the room i was in 304. I got locked out of two separate rooms on two separate days due to the card readers on the door. I watch and heard the male staff curse another patron out a d call her out her name. It was very interesting. The young African American woman who checked us in was Awesome and was on point with everything. She gave great customer service and was patient.
