Staff was friendly and helpful and service was good. Rooms seemed to be clean but the whole building just needs a refresh.

Don't let this hotels 2 star rating fool you! This is our family's 2nd stay at this hotel in a few years and we highly recommend! Great prices, pr9mpt and great service, lots of choices for complimentary breakfast, convenience store across the parking lot for any other needs, clean rooms, 24 hour pool and love the location. Feels a little like a hidden gem!

They frequently test the very loud alarm system through the week and don’t warn you until the day of just before they start. Forget it if you work nights, you’ll be exhausted and unprepared..

The particular King bedroom in this location is not as spacious as the other La Quintas I have stayed at. However the breakfast is rotated with different hot food daily and the selection is good. The walls in the room are quite thin -- can hear noises from the corridors, the next room, and the traffic from the road. Front desk service is good and the staff are all very friendly.

The water pressure in the shower was excellent (probably the best of any hotel I've ever stayed), and the towels were surprisingly soft. Variety of breakfast options (including donuts, breakfast sandwiches, sealed Danishes), and there is a drive-through Starbucks not too far away. We didn't get to try the 24-hour pool or hot tub, but appreciate that was an option. The location is an industrial area, which wasn't bad. But it's right by a train railway, so the noise of the trains woke us up a few times (bring your earplugs).

Like all motels, it is somewhat dated. Seems like the carpets could be refreshed. The breakfast was as good as it gets for a continental breakfast. It was quiet and the beds were comfortable and the room is clean and very close to very nice dining opportunities in Northwest Portland especially on 23rd St.

Great breakfast and 24/7 pool & hot tub were hits with my family. Rooms had great temp controls - quickly heated up & cooled down.

Dirty rooms they also smell funny and ,stinky hot tub and we stayed a few nites and they say there breakfast is until 930 better get there way before that cause they put everything away at 900 also tryed getting towels and they said they were all in the laundry and said they would bring me them but never did I had to go get my self at front desk also our key card would not work several times .The people that work there are rude and they don't try to make there guests feel very comfortable. And they like to vacuum at 9am on Saturday's. Don't leave anything in your car cause it won't be there in morning I know that a couple got there car stolen from the parking lot.And all the bums I seen in the garbage area.VERY BAD LOTS OF BUMS..........

Folks, don't stay downtown - stay here. It's only 6 mins to downtown, easy access to highways, easy to get around if you need to avoid traffic. Rooms are comfy, and it's quiet there at night. But, you say, this is located in an industrial area; yes, it is, and all the noise is during the day!!! Really took advantage of the 24 hr pool and hot tub; clean, always had towels. Staff were all great. Highly recommended this place.

The staff was most helpful. Very courteous and accomodating. We only stayed one night but they watched our luggage while we toured. They did several other things for us that made our trip enjoyable

Just stayed here was excited to be in a nice hotel while on a work training, our first night started out badly, there was a man on the floor right in front of our door yelling for help and banging around when I approached the front desk with my baby I was told he was fine and the police had been called, ok so I went back to my room an hour latter he was still there no one had come and the hotel staff would not even come down the hall to ask him to move apparently he had tried to lock a staff woman in his room so she didn’t feel safe! Fair enough well then how was I supposed to feel safe with me and my baby? They refused to move our room first! When I asked for an extra blanket latter on for the baby I was made to feel as though I was an I conveince however I did get a blanket. The breakfast was very disappointing our bathroom door stuck to the floor and took serious force to open and close. The second day I asked for a late check out and even offered to pay for 3 extra hours so the baby and my friend did not have to wait in the car while I was finishing my class I once again was denied and told o could pay 160$ to stay until 2:30. The management I dealt with was so unfriendly and made you feel very unwelcome despite all this I still smiled and just continued on about life. I will never stay with company again the fact they could t even apologize just puts a sour taste in your mouth especially after spending over 300$

This place is clean but was not prefect. Our tub drain was broken and laying in the tub. So showers only. We were never given wifi password. So we had to use our data. Pool being open 24/7 was wonderful The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was very good. First time having strawberry flavored waffles. Nice change of pace. Over all a good place to stay and will stay again. Thank you LaQuinta

Lots of parking, the hotel felt very safe. Traveling solo in Portland makes it important to me to be in a well lighted, 24 hour desk. The pool and hot tub are a plus. Highly recommend this location.

It was a nice hotel. The breakfast was good. The rooms were dark and quiet. The beds were comfortable. I have a few complaints. The pool was cold. Housekeeping never came to our room. I had asked because we needed linen picked up and trash. I asked a housekeeper in the hall. He said he didn't clean my room that day. I asked if he could just pick up those items. He never did. I know they are busy. So later I asked the front desk and he said they clean the rooms every 4 days. We were staying for 4 days. I asked if I could bring the trash up to the desk. He said to leave it in front of the door and they would pick it up. They didn't until housekeeping did the next day. The mirror in the room says housekeeping comes daily. I didn't want a full clean room, just trash picked up and toiletries if needed. I have never stayed at a hotel without housekeeping coming daily. I wouldn't mind if it was every other day.

20-21 March 2022 stay. Awesome value for my 15000 points. Great staff from counter to cleaning to breakfast. Loved the room with queen beds, fridge, microwave, TV, power ports. Nice shower. Didn't have time but pool and hot tub looked great! Love the business center computer and printer so I could print some important documents. Yummy breakfast! I'll be back!

We had no TV for the 2 days we were there. Although others we spoke with had a working TV. Did have a decent free breakfast. And the pool and hot tub was open 24-7

LaQuinta is the closest inn to my son's house in the Portland area and while it lacks nearby restaurants and attractions, that's not what we needed, as we had a rental car anyway. it is in a chiefly industrial area and a portion of the parking lot is for big rigs. Given Portland's challenges with homeless encampments in and around many downtown hotels, I can say there were none at or near LaQuinta. The hotel is clean, well maintained, has a decent free breakfast, and great front office staff. We got the unit with a small kitchen which was helpful though could probably do with some updating but was entirely functional. Rooms must be well insulated as we never heard a peep from others despite it being pretty full given the full parking lot. So we plan to keep using LaQuinta for future trips.

Extremely pleased with the staff….. (especially Megan). Cleaning products in my first two rooms, caused an odd unpleasant odor. She searched out available rooms to find one for me without the odor. All the while, remained very professional & polite. The follow through & customer service is five star.

This hotel is my preferred place to stay. It's adorable, pet friendly, and has an excellent location.

Always a nice stay and great staff but it's a shame they keep finding ways to charge more fees. Might have to find a new go to when they add fees for dogs, that's always been the selling point for us

Shower leaks water onto bathroom floor and there wasn't any type of special bath soap for the jacuzzi but other than that the room was fine. I was on the top floor but right across from the elevator so I heard alot of people going in and out but it was fine. The location was good and free parking which was I cared about the most

Stayed 12 days in Portland, OR while my husband was I the OHSU Cardio ICU. After 3 days without seeing a maid (we even put out the maid service sign for 2 days) When we checked out we returned our key cards to the front desk. A couple of days after we checked out, I was looking at my bank app and there was another charge of $ 218 ! From the LaQuinta Inn. When I called the hotel to tell them of their overcharge, they argued with me, I sent screen shots of my bank account. I was charged 3 days after I checkout out. And I was charged for 2 nights and I wasn't even there. The very rude lady on the phone said she was the manager. So I asked her for her boss's number and she wouldn't give it to me so I called the 1 800 number for Wyndham hotels and mad a registered complaint.....I will never stay at this LaQuinta location again

Nice room and helpful front desk personel. There is a pool and a small gym. We were there for almost a week while construction was happening at our home. Staying for 4 + days dropped the rate considerably. Can't say much about the complementary breakfast and the coffee...let's just say that it is a better idea to make the coffee in your room, the Keurig coffee maker in the room is far superior than in the breakfast area. Highway noise was far less than expected in this industrial area and you are not too far from restaurants in Linnton or across the beautiful St.John's bridge.

The room was larger than I had expected, the pool is open 24 hours, the breakfast was yummy and had lots of choices (it is included with your stay) Free parking is a big plus. It is a little far from downtown if you are planning on being close to downtown or being able to walk everywhere this isn't the hotel for you. If you want a clean, quiet, room with a pool, free parking, and free breakfast this is the place for you. Side note the tv is direct tv so based on weather the tv might not come in 100 percent clear.

Our room had a used bloody tissue on the floor by the bed. We noticed our first morning, it’s not ours. So clearly the room wasn’t well cleaned. We put our maid service sign up and when we returned at 2 it wasn’t clean, so I went to the desk, explained why and told them I expected it cleaned, at this point wasn’t upset I just wanted it cleaned properly. We returned at 6 and room is still dirty and front desk will do nothing but say sorry and talk to manager in the am. So yes, now I am upset, creeped out, and certainly unhappy with this hotel theat refused to remedy their griss mistake.
