With covid everything is served in to go cartons. Mixed review here. The place is a great dive bar: Large tv to watch, pool, juke box, video poker, plenty of space. The food menu gives it a mixed review: if you pick the right entree its a great value. If not its way over priced. Noticeable from driving off barbur blvd. Staff is adequate.

Awful, soggy, disgusting slop. I have never been more disappointed with a Chinese restaurant in my life. The general's chicken is indistinguishable from the sesame chicken, except one has sesame seeds dumped on top. Let's just say I won't be trying any other dishes from here.

Ugh... My girlfriend and me tried this place one last time because it was once our favorite.. But after walking in and being ignored for about 20 minutes then realizing that they had fired literally every bartender that brought in business, the ones that actually cared.. We will not be returning again sadly! Also super upsetting to see that the people we saw everyday when coming in also no longer show up... this place has turned into a place to avoid! Hopefully the owner realizes the issues and fixes them, because we are not the only ones that truly miss this bar!

End of night, after the early bars close. Came for food and drinks, Bartender says he can't make food, because he says he's gonna mess it up. So late night, chips? Not coming back if this is the new regular. Horrible customer service. You might be good if you want average drinks.

Atmosphere seemed cool. Lots of slot machines, friendly bar tender and patrons. This is a bar, not a restaurant. Restaurant is closed and the food was horrid. So I would give it a one, but the bar looked nice and people were friendly so I image if you go here for that it's much better. Food I would stay away from.

I love the food here and am a repeat customer for takeout. This is seriously the best Chinese American food. It's not the gross stuff that sits under a Panda Express heat lamp. My recommendations are Mongolian beef, General Tsos chicken, Singapore rice noodles and beef chow fun. If you like fried things, go for the crab rangoons and egg rolls. The BBQ pork is made in house too so get an order to munch on as well. Hot mustard required!

Wow, server is not on his game, dont know if hes tired or been dippin into his well. Food was so not good. Fried shrimp wasnt bad, but not great either. Bathrooms arent very clean either :( yuck. I visit for the VP with my friend and thats it.

Arrived to eat a late lunch, or possibly a combination plate for the three of us, didn't really want to order three or four dinner entries to make the combo. The restaurant wasn't open 4pm on Sunday so had to sit in a not so nice of a bar area. The bartender said the discontinued the combo plates. Left and went somewhere else, however still made me pay for two sodas there are dispensed from the bar gun.

Bartender was friendly and the food was Amazing. The crab puffs are have so much green onion and crab were gonna order a double next time.

I support small businesses. Take salt and pepper shrimp off your menu. I ordered it on Uber eats and it was the worst I’ve ever had. really bad. Do it the right way. Like all your competitors. Big shrimp breaded right with salt and pepper. If you can’t do it right take it off your menu.

Most of the food at Happy Fortune is good and I have been going there for years. I was very disappointed however on my last visit. I ordered the potstickers, and when they arrived, they had been deep fried to a dark brown crisp and smelled slightly burned. I asked the bartender and he apologized, but said that that's how they are prepared now and the cook doesn't understand English so I was better off ordering something else. They won't pan fry them if asked, like they used to do and most Chinese restaurants will do. He threw them in the garbage and I ordered the barbecued pork, which was good. Avoid the Potstickers!

Didn't eat had a drink at the bar and gambled for a little while. I like that the parking lot was fully under surveillance at every angle. Slots did not pay

Happy Fortune just got a new menu without combo meals :( it's still our favorite dive Chinese place to go to for pool, ping pong, foosball, and cheap drinks. Nice bar tenders!

I just got here and have only ordered a ginger ale. It's fine... will try food later when my friend arrives At first I was greatly Unimpressed. (Photos to follow) Then for many reasons I warmed to the place.

American-style Chinese food. General tso's was crispy but too heavily sauced, lo mein was okay but salty, I'd get the thick noodles though. Fried rice was much too salty, 4 stars for being very fast but 1 star for the food.

What is wrong with this place?Signs Signs and more Signs.I did not eat here.But had delivery a while back.Live about a mile away.Drop in every few months.For the Lounge.Creepy Strange Vibe.And FYI I love Dive Bars..Sign was posted in Restroom.So maybe I’m glad I didn’t or will ever eat here..

Service was exceptional, staff was welcoming and helpful. We had a disabled cousin with us and every effort was made to accommodate him. The lunch special was delicious, the hot and sour soup was wonderful. We will be back 😁

The food here was pretty good and the waitress was really nice. Business was primarily in the bar but was told they could open the dining room if we wished. We did not. Bar had lots of amenities, gambling, pinball, pool tables.

This place is super underrated! They have several pool tables, ping pong, 4 pinball games, big buck hunter, board games and video lottery too. Covered smoking patio with a patio TV, and I think 5 TVs inside. My favorite spot to grab a bite and watch the game! I really like the General Tso, Micheals Shrimp and Kung Pao Chicken. Prices are very fair and bartenders are really friendly too!

I love this bar. If you want stiff drinks and a great drama free atmosphere then this is your spot. Great place to meet up with your friends or to meet new ones. Give it a try 🤗🤗
