Great place to see a show. Plenty of shade or cover if it rains. Beer is a little pricey but there's nothing you can do about it......or is there.....maybe sneak a few in or some Vodka!!!! The water behind us was awesome and we even got a spectacular sunset once the rain stopped. Can't wait for the next concert.

What a beautiful outdoor venue! It's right next to the highway and I believe an airport, so I thought sounds from cars and planes would ruin the show, but you couldn't even hear them. There were so many food options from various food trucks, which I absolutely loved. It's right on a little river side too, which is gorgeous. Would definitely come back again!

This was such a nice place to see a show!! So clean and organized. We had a blast at Bleachers. All of the staff was attentive and amazing, but we want to give a HUGE shoutout to Dallas and Ricky who were working the barricade. They were so friendly and fun, and did an amazing job making sure everyone was safe, hydrated, and having a good time. We would definitely come back

I've been to a lot of venues, and this is by far my favorite of all of them. If the weather is good, you have beautiful sunsets behind you. The area is lined with excellent food trucks. Bathrooms are plentiful, and easy to get into. There's barely ever a line if you are trying to get a beer. Everything here just moves so smoothly. And as for the show, the sound is decent, and even when the venue is at Max capacity, there is plenty of space to move around. Can't say enough good things about Thompson's point.

What's to say...cool outdoor music venue. Sound was great! Vibe was positive! Somebody passed out and the emergency crew was on it right away. Merch, beer, and potty lines moved quickly and efficiently. Will definitely go back! We had a little trouble with Uber, so we ended up walking back to our hotel. But not a bad walk...only about 2 miles through some neat neighborhoods.

Thompson point was a fun venue. The views were amazing. Food trucks fun but pricey for amount served main stage looked fantastic hope to come up again to see a band on that stage! I enjoyed the museums very much. The employees were a bit strict with entrance to a free show. But I would go back in heartbeat to see Cake if I could !!

Amazing venue! Cannot say enough good things about this venue and their employees. Ricky working barricade was truly a highlight for the evening. Not only was he fun and interacted with the crowd all night, he made sure everyone was feeling good and staying hydrated. Awesome views, great good, and fantastic bands - I’ll definitely be back!

Such a cool spot to see a show! Loved being right by the water with an awesome sunset. Really liked all the diff food truck options too. Not like your average music venue at all. Khruangbin threw down hard!!

Thompson's Point is the premiere venue to see concerts in Maine, hands down. Set on a beautiful peninsula surrounded by the Fore River, this enormous outdoor space gets some of the best acts to come through Portland. They have the back half of the lawn designated for those who want to sit and watch the show, and bringing in your own chairs is allowed, which is a rare touch (until they hit capacity). The river is lined with food trucks from local vendors and there is a large awning for a selection of beer, which is slightly pricey but nothing you wouldn't expect for a place like this. Even when there isn't shows they will allow you in for free for Sunset at the Point to enjoy the ambience with some local music. In the winter, the place turns into a skating rink. Overall simply one of the best venues in the area.

Fun area and perfect for concerts. Visited Bissell Brothers and then went to see Ghost of Paul Revere. Easy to get to, but if you don't have prepaid parking it can get pricey.

Great outdoor venue! Right on the water. Beautiful scenery. Great food and drink selection. Plenty of room if you're behind the sound board area. Very well organized. The "chair and blanket" section is located about 50 feet behind the soundboard, and is separated by some barriers. You can spread-out nicely there. Standing room is Soundboard forward for those who want to stand and dance. I would definitely recommend checking out a concert event here during the summer!

Went to a concert at Thompson Point, Portland, ME. My main purpose, of course, was to bring you all the flavors of the food trucks! They had a wide variety of different foods to try from burgers to PB fried sandwiches and gourment grilled cheese sandwiches. Great venue for everyone!

I LOVE this venue. You can't beat a night in Portland with food trucks, good sound, fresh ocean breeze, lots of bars with short drink lines and plenty of porta potties lol. Can't wait to come back next weekend!! A Summer staple!!

Great outdoor music venue in Portland! It is near the airport so planes go right over you. There are also great food trucks during concerts.

Cool venue right on the water. Sound quality was good and not too loud. Lot of mosquitoes so bring bug spray. If you want to have a spot to sit arrive early as sitting room only goes very fast! This place also has a lot of food trucks inside the venue so that was cool. I also recommend parking at Shaws ( grocery store) and walking in. There is a trail nearby.

Small venue. Seated patrons had to sit in the back and standing people stood in front. This made it impossible for seated people to see anything but heads, feet, and bodies. It should be like this: seated patrons in front and standing in back. The Robert Plant and Allison Krause were great...one-of-a-kind! While we were anxious regarding parking, we had no problem with nearby paid parking (and at a reasonable price. 🎢🎸
